When he saw I was awake, he went into the bathroom. third, he spends a lot of his time in the bathroom, for hours, doing who knows what. I can't take it, get him out of the room. This is too much for me. I'm being tormented by this guy. I can't live like this. Why else besides you are retaliating against me would you be doing this to me.. .I don't feel safe at all going to sleep or going to the bathroom. There's a reason why this guy was in a room by himself.I pressed the call button and nobody answered. I came outside my room to find the CNA asleep on a chair.I told them at the nurses station what was going on and they said nothing about the sleeping CNA and a Matter of fact the nurse was asleep when I came up.I asked them what do I do, stay awake all night? And they told me that they don't move rooms at night and to wait morning to tell the social worker. I have not used the bathroom since he got into the room. I have to use the bathroom now. The CNA will not answer my call light, even though he see me. My roommate will not come out of the bathroom. When a different CNA came he apologized and told me that Walter is a crazy guy who is awake all night and always walking around.I'm a disabled veteran. Why am I being treated like this? This is a dirty trick you pulled on me. You knew that it wasn't going to work out and you still did it. And with Veterans Day right around the corner this is how you say thank you for your service. By making sure I don't get sleep and keeping me constantly on my guard. I will make sure the VA knows how you treat their veterans and will devote all my spare time to writing bad reviews about this place.

Patients were left to sit in dirty diapers, I would walk past people in wheelchairs with urine under their chairs. I would have to go daily because the staff was not taking care of my friend, it reached the point that I couldn't leave until she I gave her bedtime meds. When I would bring my concerns to the director I was told what she thought I wanted to hear. This is the cup left for my friend to drink from and I think it says it all.

Such a sad place to be knowing they aren't there for the best interest of your loved one. I know I shouldn't have kept my Mom there that long but I had no choice at the moment. I only started this review as I saw this Yelp site, but really the review is more about the Advocate Medical Group housed here (and they have their own Yelp review site). There's not much more to say about the facility itself except it's convenient with good hours, and has a big convenient parking lot that is often filled! Our PCP, Dr. Ellen Aleksandrovich, is the best and she is very competent, caring, communicative, proactive, and empathetic to the patient's needs. Their systems also work great and responsively without long waits - systems meaning phone calls or messages, their PA staff, their website which is used for both medical info storage as well as messaging, their billing and payments system, their appointment scheduling, their lab appointments system and staff, etc. They also have several specialists based here that we see, and they have the same support system. We routinely get bloodwork and sometimes imaging done here. They are part of the Advocate Medical Group and in turn associated directly with the excellent Advocate Lutheran General Hospital nearby. In our experience, it's a big thumbs up for Nesset Pavillion and the Advocate Medical Group staff here.

I guess the fact that I have insurance they figured out they might as well order everything deluxe and do Lab Tests, EKG, Ultrasound (Am I pregnant ?). Anyway 2 hrs seems a bit excessive. The attending resident doctor did a very good job and was very through, but the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. When I arrived the girl asked me if I could hold on for a minute. I waited for about 5 minutes and finally realized there were a couple of other people that could have checked me in. When I left there were only 2 people. As I walked out the first person just walked away and didn't say anything so I checked out with the other person.

When…read moreit came to long term care, for my now 96 year old Mother (who is also my best friend), there was not even a question as to what the choice would be. From our side and from hers. Citadel of Wilmette!!! We were referred to Citadel by Evanston Hospital and her primary physician for rehab following a very serious fall last year at 95 for which she was hospitalized.The rehab and the staff at Citadel is beyond anything one could imagine. Personal, lovely, exceptional in their knowledge and care. She was successfully rehabbed and we brought her home, but she was so sad to go. Shortly there after, she suffered another fall for which she broke her hip and again was hospitalized and chose Citadel for her rehab facility. Again, same experience and she was greeted back with open arms and hugs and a determination and willingness to get her successfully rehabbed again. Within a few weeks, she was ready again to walk and rehab was successful. But what was clear now for us as a family, and for my Mother, was that going home and living independently now would no longer be an option. We faced the fact that long term care was now a fact and that living on her own would be fatally unsafe. Knowing the answer ourselves as a family that Citadel was the #1 choice for long term care, we asked our Mother where SHE wanted to be for her long term care. She said HERE of course with all of my "friends". You see, she does not call the staff her caregivers, they are all her "friends". In my life, I have never seen a nursing home or hospital or actually ANY staff as happy, joyful, caring, patient, diligent, smart, safer and loving as the staff at Citadel of Wilmette. I am almost crying while writing this, because my heart is so abundant with love and thanks for this incredible facility and staff for making my Mother in these twilight years SO happy and cared for, safe and feeling like she is at home. Mary, my Mother calls Citadel her home and we as a family do too. The location of Citadel is outstanding as when we visit we can enjoy the fireplace and bird room with her and take her for wonderful outings in the town of Wilmette and neighboring villages. And when I work in Los Angeles, which is often, I can FINALLY rest my head on the pillow at night knowing my Mother is safe and so very, happy. The facility is extremely clean and modern and upkeep is outstanding. The KIND, LOVING, JOYFUL, HAPPY, PATIENT AND EXTRAORDINARY staff is like nothing I have ever seen before and their long term care and their rehab is the BEST you will ever get. Thank you Citadel for the joy you bring our Mother. She loves you ALL and as I say, calls you her FRIENDS. Because you ARE. 10 STARS!! We were treated with kindness, understanding and high quality care. The facility, itself, is warm and inviting, feels like a "bed and breakfast"! His every need was met. The nursing and assistant staff were all wonderful from Lexi, the administrator, Alex, an aide and Jazmin and Maita, Indal and Cosmos, our nurses who were skilled and very pleasant and attentive. The dining room staff was also excellent. The facility is very clean and inviting. The daily craft sessions were entertaining and much appreciated! You would think an occupational therapy practice would do the bare minimum and assign someone else to work with their child clients while their therapist was gone. She has been with me on a few medical journies, keeping me calm and level-headed throughout each episode. (I have white coat syndrome, I suppose.) I will give her max stars for promptness and time spent with me. She is very conservative in her approach but highly realistic. His PA called back and said he has no opening till the following week and that I should go to ER or IC?!?! What is the point of having a primary care physician. You can see me during non emergency situation but when I'm really sick you turn me away? This year's flu is extremely deadly and even healthy adults are not immune to the virus. As a doctor how can you be so careless and turn your primary patient away? Lastly after I got an annual physical he never followed up. I get the sense that he doesn't really care. Not the same treatment I got from Dr Boston. Btw still bed ridden as wrote this review laying in bed. Update: After I wrote the negative review on David Fox he sends me a bill over $300 4 months after my physical/doctor visit. I am aware that I'm entitled to one physical covered at 100% per year according to my insurance company. He clearly did this out of revenge. What an outstanding Doctor you have working at northwestern! He deserves no star. I will be calling soon to file a formal complaint.
