I tried calling several times to make sure this was a legit place, but no one answered so I went to the address and nothing was set up. It was a residential home, so I double checked the address and knocked on the door. There were dogs barking and I heard a small child say something, but no one answered. So weird bc I was excited to get some eggs since it was rated 5 stars. Save your time and gas money. read more

Cluck It Farm is a great local source of produce in the valley. I recently signed up for their 1/2 produce share CSA spring program and am loving it. The produce is fresh, tasty, colorful, and wholesome. Clearly quite the step up from what you get at the grocery store. You can get eggs too. On Monday afternoon, the website opens for orders for 24 hours and then you can either pick up your order or have it delivered for a nominal fee which is super convenient. If you miss the order window, it's ok as they will make choices for you. They ask that you enroll for the entire 12-16 week program so that they can plan accordingly for the season. There is a cancellation fee which is completely appropriate and fair. They accept credit card and SNAP through their website. If you need to hold on an order, they will allow for it a handful of times per season with adequate heads up (by Saturday) which is nice. If you're looking for a variety of fresh produce to be provided to you and your family on a weekly basis at a reasonable price, I'd strongly recommend that you consider Cluck It Farm's CSA program. I found Amanda with Cluck It Farm at a farmer's market around 2 years ago and loved the produce and eggs (all local and organic) so when she started the CSA, I immediately signed up. I love that she does weekly home deliveries and that she not only provides an abundance of veggies/eggs/etc. from her farm but also collaborates with other local growers to provide even more variety! Some of the recent items provided have been greens, sprouts, oranges, berries, grapefruit, carrots, avocados, cabbage, rosemary, lavender, jam, beets, leeks, and more. Eggs and sourdough bread can be added to your order when extra are available or as a weekly subscription. I receive eggs weekly and love that she offers that option. The site she uses (Harvie) allows CSA members to rank items based on preference so you get some input in what you receive. The cost is also very reasonable with payment due weekly instead of all upfront. Amanda sends out an email every week with updates on what she is planting or if anything unexpected comes up. She's also very responsive if you have questions or special requests. Highly recommended! read more

I've been a member of this CSA for two seasons now and I am now aware of the immense difference between store bought (sprouts, Whole Foods organic) and the food grown locally, without chemicals and with love. I'm so grateful these guys exist in Las Vegas and Amanda and team have been nothing short of perfect customer service wise. She responds to any questions immediately and the one time they missed something, she made it right next week. This is the future, our community farmers and these guys do it right. This review will focus on two areas: the CSA itself, and the treatment I received from this organization. First, I am a believer in community supported agriculture. It's a great way to support local businesses, while also having access to fresh produce. As a newer resident to Vegas I was incredibly excited to find a CSA in Las Vegas, where they are few and far between. Second, as a consumer, I reserve the right cancel my subscription to an organization or business for whatever reason. Cancellation fees, and cancellation policies exist for a reason. On the product front, the farm provided delivery, was always timely, and the produce was great. My review is not on the quality of their product, but on their customer service and their treatment of me when I decided to cancel my CSA. Jimmy who delivered my subscription every week was fantastic, and I'll miss hearing from him every Thursday. On the customer service front, my experience was not great. Amanda the owner has shown herself to be rather petty, and willing to discuss the cancellation of my CSA with her entire instagram following in a 9 minute video. On Sunday, February 14th, Cluckit sent out an email to all their CSA members that they would be hosting a farm day. The farm day would be no masks, but you had the option for a private tour after the no-mask event. The wording of the email was very obvious that the poster did not believe in masks, and wanted to have an event for their non-mask wearing customers. Just as she states in her email she didn't want to debate this, I did not want to either. As a immunocompromised individual, and someone who believes in supporting the health of everyone through masks - I could not support this decision. I sent an email saying "Please cancel my CSA subscription effective immediately. Based on the email this morning re: farm day, I cannot support a business that is being irresponsible with masks, and the health of it's consumers". I also posted on my instagram account questioning this decision and their wording of "the mask debate" and "if you like masks". Cluckit farms sent me a response saying I would need to pay a $100 cancellation fee, and that was the end of our communication. On the same day, Amanda proceeded to post a video on her instagram accusing me of cancelling her, along with sending her hate mail. She blatantly lied about my cancellation rather than discussing the true nature of my cancellation - her anti-mask community event. As a consumer, I would have been fine leaving it at the cancellation. However, if someone feels as I do, that masks are incredibly important to the future health and prosperity of everyone, we have to support businesses we believe in. To have a 9 minute video indicating this is cancel culture, and that my request for cancellation due to her choices, was hate mail - shows me what kind of business this is and the type of person who is running the business. She indicates I threatened her even though I have had no further communication with her beyond the initial cancellation email on February 14th of which I am posting here. I'm a CSA member, which means I get weekly deliveries (yes-- they deliver to my front doorstep!) and weekly communication with Amanda the owner. The produce and berries and eggs we get have all been amazing. Amanda is very good at reaching out with updates, anything happening on the farm that might affect the crops and our share, and keeping her paying client informed and excited about contributing to supporting local businesses. I cant day enough good things about the crops from this local farm and the people who grow them. read more

Review is based solely on their customer service, produce still really good. So Cluck It Farm came to the hospital where I work and set up a pop-up type shop. They were there for only a couple hours, but it was a very nice spread of organic vegetables, berries, dates, etc... No information about them was provided at this quick pop up, so I looked them up afterwards and found they are regenerative farmers: woohoo! Didn't know Vegas had any. This is awesome. Very general info on their website, but when I submit an inquiry via email, whoever responds does so very quickly. They are based in North Las Vegas, so it's not like I can pass by real quick and check them out. I emailed twice to confirm they would be open on Saturday (today) and in both replies there was not even a hint of a possibility they'd be closed. In one email correspondence, I inquired about a lot of produce being sold out on their website, with which the responder informed me that produce goes to paying subscribers first, and then whatever is leftover if sold at their farmers market and that there is much more variety than what's listed on their website. Early Saturday morning comes along, and after a 35 mile drive: CLOSED. And this was what I got in an email about their closure: "I have a 109 member csa and the farm stand is always whatever is left. We never guarantee to be open. This week we had nothing left for the farm stand. I update social media I do not have time to update a website each week when doing 109 home deliveries." Well soooooorrrrryyyy miss thang! I don't have social media and the tone in your email sucks. GEEZE! Not even a little, "oh sorry!" I just wanted more info, I was very eager to learn more, most likely subscribe, but now I just feel blown off... already 109 member csa (?), so not enough produce for anyone else anyway.. read more

I've been getting a CSA from Cluck It Farms through Harvie.farm for one season. I used to have one through Winder Farms, but they stopped offering that service. As a Crop share, you are always going to be limited to what is currently in-season locally, and what is available based on how much has grown and been farmed that week. That means you will need to be happy with a random assortment of fruits and vegetables that you wouldn't normally choose if you went to a grocery store -- in other words, don't expect to get beets in the summer or strawberries in the winter. There are certain things you can set up in your preferences -- for example, if you hate kale, you can mark your profile to never receive it. Be prepared for a lot of oranges or lettuce, or whatever until something else is in season, though. Communication is too-notch. You'll hear about what's going on with the farms that your CSA is coming from, and get tips on how to keep the fruits and veggies fresh as long as possible. You will also get the opportunity to swap out items you don't want and maybe pick up something extra that someone else tossed aside as well. There is also the opportunity to buy eggs, jam and bread -- and the eggs are awesome. (I haven't tried the others.) Definitely worth trying. read more

This farm is THE BEST. Amanda is a first generation farmer who has grown her farm and CSA (community supported agricultural) by her own hard work and drive. We are a part of her CSA; I honestly can't recommend it enough to people especially when they are looking for locally grown, organic produce at a reasonable price. I recommend joining the CSA when the season opens up but give the farm stand a try if you get a chance which is what my family did before we joined. Our fruits and veggies are always fresh; my toddler will eat produce from the this farm over any produce from the store. The taste and quality is significantly better. I don't think this business is inspected by the health department. Insufficient refrigeration is obvious. Is the property properly zoned. Are the paying taxes on this business. Permits should be checked to see if work done on property pulled the required permits and inspections. read more

I have been a CSA member for a little less then a year. However what a year to start a farm bag, am I right? The last six months alone have really emphasized how much this little change in our grocery habits would provide and add huge benefits for our lives. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and eggs all delivered to our door each week. When the lockdowns started we had the comfort of knowing that no matter what we still had this service to continue to provide for our family in this great time of need. The owner Amanda has always treated us with respect and dignity. She is kind and willing to work with people if you communicate your needs; she and her help will do anything they can to accommodate within reason. We were able to take a tour of this little urban farm and were so impressed with their knowledge, effort and determination to continue to grow and provide a product that isn't anywhere else for her clients. Sometimes with a small business ran by a small staff, things can fall through the cracks. So much to worry and keep up with. But if you are patient, kind, and follow them on social media (Instagram seems to be the easiest place for me, it seems to be frequently checked and updated along with email updates to keep us informed) you will have a great experience with them. read more

Unlike other CSA's where you just get what you get every week, Cluck It Farm uses an app that lets you set preferences for your vegetables, so you won't get anything you don't like. It's pretty fantastic. Amanda has built something great in Las Vegas with Cluck It. She partners with other local, organic farms to provide members a robust selection of the freshest produce. If you're on the fence about joining- just do it!! Her prices for a CSA share are very affordable and you can find comfort knowing that your produce is grown locally, organically, and responsibly. Oh, she also has chickens, so members can get the freshest eggs. She also partners with a local bread company to provide members fresh sourdough bread. Cluck It Farm is absolutely great! I can't rave enough about them. I love their CSA program. Delicious fruits, vegetables, fresh eggs, etc. There is a great variety. It's mind-blowing the huge difference between the tasteless store-bought foods vs. the freshly grown goods from the farm. They are reasonably priced and well organized. I'm so grateful for this amazing group of people. They are hard workers and I appreciate them so much. CSA day is my favorite day of the week. Before joining the CSA I would recommend educating yourself on how it works and ask yourself WHY you are joining. This is not a convenience store or a grocery store, it's a FARM. CSA is a great place to learn about different foods, exploring new recipes, and how our goods are grown. It's worth the investment and the time. It's also something great to share with your family. I've been a member of the CSA for maybe a month and a half or two and so far I'm really happy. I was a little worried that the produce wouldn't last as long as store bought but it does! Also, I find that we're exploring veggies that I wouldn't normally pick in the store (I tend to buy the same stuff over and over). Customer service has been great and the sourdough add-on is the bomb! Delivery is reliable and they communicate about any changes to availability, delivery etc. I can't wait to go check out the farm when all this COVID business blows over. I have been buying produce from Cluck It Farms for a year now. They are located in Northwest Las Vegas. I started out at the farm stand just to try her produce because I was trying to avoid being around people due to my chemotherapy. I had to find a better source of food for my family. I found the produce and eggs to be very fresh and lasts longer than what I was buying from stores. I found her to be very knowledgeable so I decided to buy a share to support her farm. I have recommended her to everyone I know to grow her business. She is a one-woman show working on her single acre. Her growth exceeded her goals and so now she is doing her best to balance her family and work. This may seem too personal for a review and it is very personal. I take it very personal what I feed my family. Shop small is not just a cliche it is my choice. I choose to support a small farmer instead of the big box stores such as Whole Foods. There is no comparison to the quality, value and service that I get from her farm. She has had to make a lot of adjustments during this past year due to unprecedented growth and Covid-19. If you are not familiar with how a CSA works, it is simple ... it is a commitment to eat food that has been grown by a farmer not a hydrophonic plant. It is about knowing that the person that grew your food is making a livable wage to feed their family. Growing food is unpredictable just like the weather so if the CSA members take up the produce grow for delivery that week then the farm stand is empty. The window is so small that there will be times when it closes and no one knows because the farmer is out farming. The farm has been active in our community in promoting eating healthier so you may see the produce at a pop up near you. It is a farm to table concept. I encourage anyone to sign up now before the spots fill out and you are missing out on a "community supported agriculture". It saves you money, you are eating in-season, you get a variety of produce and you support your community. Produce is very finite when grown by a farmer in soil. Let that sink in. This is my first experience using a CSA and it's been even better than I expected. The quality of the products is excellent and it's a great value. I love the convenience of not having to go to the grocery store and the variety of items has me trying new foods and eating even more fruits and vegetables than before.
