    Rows of fig trees!

I found sweet potatoes made available at the produce stand (not a you pick item). There is a majestic pecan tree to visit on the West end of the orchard near the fig trees. Row 100 features nopales. At the time fruit were in the process of ripening on the cactus.

They are open Tuesday. Thursday Saturdays at 7 am. Get here early to beat the crowds. I like to go before you have to pay for a ticket to enter. They have the best apple cider donuts. They have excellent breakfast sandwiches. And trying the ube waffles for the first time. The apple cider drinks are also one of a kind. Cannot skip out on that. They also have sunflower fields you can reserve to walk around and take photos.

Gilcrease Orchard is such a unique place in Las Vegas. I went there this morning and hand picked my own peaches straight from the trees. They even have already picked produce and fruits for you to buy, and I bought some onions and garlic and strawberries in a carton. They're only open from 7 AM to 10 AM on certain days you can check their website. I love being outdoors instead of cooped up in the house or at work. I took my cart that they provide for you and I walked up and down the rows. I had a nice workout! There's always something to buy there and something to pick. I came home with a ton of great stuff I can't wait to eat it!

What a beautiful day to visit the Orchard. So many fruits and veggies to pick plus so nice to eat breakfast there and of course eat one of there delicious donuts . Today was the last day they were making donuts for the remainder of the year. We picked some lovely tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers and eggplants. The peaches and apples were plentiful as well to pick. We had a great time and will definitely be back

Can't miss an opportunity to review my favorite fall attraction in Vegas! We look forward to going to Gilcrease every single year and now we bring the family along with us!! Big tip, get tickets early! They definitely sell out. We got tickets for like 7:30am. And while I was annoyed we had to drive across town at the crack of dawn, I actually think this will be the time we end up going moving forward. It wasn't crowded AT ALL! So nice to actually enjoy every part of the orchard. They have donuts (!!!) and other food. They had live entertainment in the morning and it was a girl and a guy playing banjo and singing. Super relaxing for first thing in the morning and they were super talented! Every year I take home their peanut butter and honey. It's made by small farmers and honestly sooo dang good. Highly recommend! And of course you can't forget the pumpkins!! They have a lot to select from!! This has become a tradition for us and I love it so much. It's so fun to see how much it grows every single year!

As a Las Vegas native, I absolutely love going to the Orchard with my family! Especially during their different seasonal times. We love Christmas at the Orchard, fall at the Orchard and sunflower days at the Orchard just to name three of our favorites! The sunflowers are abundant and so much fun to cut. The fields of sunflowers are absolutely beautiful! Somehow I missed the memo because I'm sure it is stated somewhere but we chose a 9:15 AM slot and by 10 AM. They were letting us know they were closing and we needed to leave ASAP. We were super sad because we did not get a chance to go purchase any peanut butter/juice or donuts and that is one of the highlights of our visits every time. Make sure that you book with enough time and grab your donuts either ahead of time or prior to 10 AM. We will be back, we love coming out to pick fresh veggies and buy fresh fruits and flowers!

Spent the sweetest morning at Gilcrease Orchard. It's Sunflower days this week. There's something so special about picking your own flowers, fruits, veggies and just being surrounded by nature. Super peaceful, super fresh, and such a cute experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a little break from the Vegas chaos

This is the only orchard we have in Vegas. So we have no choice. I had no idea we had to buy tickets ahead of time this year. Yes, they are not overcrowded, but also traveling for 40 min from Henderson to find on it that we can't get in- was very disappointing. Of course for the future we will buy tickets from now one. But this time around I felt very sad, and my two excited kids disappointed

I love this las vegas staple for fall celebrations. I had not made it out since 2019, but now that I have a child and he was old enough to enjoy himself I felt I had to make a return. Make sure to get your ticket online for your time slot before you head out during holidays. It costs very little, like 3 dollars a person. In addition to a whole field of fun pumpkins to choose from and pick yourself, they have the popular apple cider donuts! I like the cream cheese frosted the most, and when we got there they were freshly made and warm! We also got some caramel apples, apple cider, and then got the pizza at the concessions area. I was surprised how awesome the personalized pizza was. The crust was so pillowy! There were singers serenading us while we stuffed out faces with carbs and sugar . After filling up on guilty indulgences, and grabbing some for later, we made sure to check out the corn and hay maze, feed some chickens and take a tractor ride. Make sure to bring quarters to get chicken feed. We also said hi to the tortoises they have. They have produce stands near the entrance that have current items for sale, sometimes you can also pick items in season yourself. They also have the larger jugs of apple cider and its more cost effective than getting a bunch of small ones. This is such a wonderful place to get you in the mood for the holiday season, and also something special for a desert dwellers who need to feel their is hope to have a garden out here. I wish I lived closer. I Would go more often.

This is such a treasure in the desert! It really is an orchard where you can buy/pick the local in season fruits and vegetables. We went for the fall festivities and enjoyed the live entertainment, food, tour, corn and hay bale mazes, and to pick our seasonal pumpkins from their fields! Quite the adventure! The corn maze will take about 20- 30 minutes (or more if you get really turned around) so plan accordingly if you want to take the tour ride. The weather was perfect and we left tired and happy after a wonderfully full day! They even have a "Kissing Booth" for photo opportunities, fresh pressed apple juice, and so much more! Remember to wear comfortable shoes and clouthes.

Gilcrease Orchard is a charming little gem tucked away in Las Vegas.... a perfect family-friendly spot with fresh produce and seasonal charm. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the orchard is clean and well maintained. There's plenty of street parking nearby, which helps since the lots fill up quickly. The pumpkin patch is fun to roam, with the chance to pick your own pumpkins. Hayrides, sunflower garden, local merchandise, and delicious treats like their famous donuts and apple cider make the visit even better. Plenty of photo op spots throughout your visit. A wonderful place to slow down, enjoy the season, and make some great memories!

A refreshing place to be, away from the glittering lights of the strip. Here you can see how fruits grow and harvested and what farm to table really means. It is a delight to see how fresh the produce are because you pick it yourself. Nothing tastes better than freshly picked fruits and vegetables. The freshly made donuts were tempting, but I didn't bite.. They have a huge parking lot, a large tent eating area, wheel barrows to haul your produce and a well organized cashier area. They also provide you with plastic bags, but it's better to bring your own sturdier bags. There are clear signs as to what rows of produce are available. Come early during the hot summer months and don't forget your hats and sunscreens as the desert heat can be intense.

Came here for the Fall Harvest Festival with my family and we loved it. We ordered tickets in advance and secured a spot. The parking was difficult because they were busy. We were able to ride the hayride. We wished it went all around the orchard, but it was still a cool experience. We also saw chickens! They even had an area to sit to eat, which we liked. Their apple cider donuts were so delicious and fresh! The apple juice was also on point. The staff there were nice and informative as well. There were lots of places to take pictures to capture the moments with the family. The pumpkin patch was okay. There weren't a lot of pumpkins left, but it was still cool to see. We definitely will be back here next year!

Ask the Community - Gilcrease Orchard

When they are open, do they have local honey?

They harvest their on site Gilcrease honey a few times a year, but it sells out within a few days. When that is sold out they have desert wildfloer Stephenson Honey, which is from Needles California and the bees forage on desert wildflowers which…

I'm pregnant and want to do a small photo shoot with just my hubby, would they allow that? I don't need the private hour. Just a couple pics from my phone and done.

You should be fine, alot of people take pics there, I do all the time. Hope that helps. Say Cheese :)

Do they have a restroom? And if so, is there a changing station?

Unfortunately not, All they have are Porta Potty's & No Changing Stations.

    When are donuts available?

They usually have them during the Fall months, you can check the website, or ask the employees you'll see at the Entrance

Do you need to make a reservation?

No but get there early to get a wheelbarrow and good parking spot.

Are masks required now in Oct 2021?

I was there yesterday and I think I was the only person wearing a mask. So I would say no, because it is outside, masks are not required.

Is there a separate line if I just want to buy donuts and cider or do we wait in the same line as those who have pumpkins, produce, etc? Thank you!

Cider, donuts and popcorn check-out in one area left of entrance and produce is at a separate check-out to right of entrance. Though be prepared for a long wait for those awesome donuts!

    Do the vendors take card?

Gilcrease Orchard accepts cash, card, and Apple Pay!

What fruits and veggies are in season that is there to pick at this time?

It changes each time I go, however their Gilcrease Orchard app is always updated on what to pick and on their Instagram (gilcrease_orchard).

What is in season right now?

Anticipated Availability for Picking Carrots Beets…

Do they charge parking or entrance fee?

    No parking or entrance fees.

    Are masks required?

    Yes they are

Does anyone know if they allow leashed dogs on the farm?

I think, I have seen a sign mentioning NO PETS!

Are you allowed to bring your own water bottles?

Definitely! Bringing your own water and beverages are highly encouraged as it gets hot out there.

    Are apples available for picking?

For up to date information, please download their application or visit their website. They have all fruits and vegetables listed which one is available to pick/purchase.

    Is it handicap accessible?

It is handicap accessible through the gate all the way to the front area, cashier stands, where selected fruits/produce available to purchase. Also, there is a paved road around the Orchard, behind the gate. Between the trees and vegetable gardens,…

    Are dogs allowed?

    Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

    Can I bring my dog?

From their website "Leave your pets at home. For food safety reasons, we do not allow pets into the orchard."

Considering so many markets are selling fake honey for $20, getting a regular sized jar of authentic local honey (which tasted amazing and had great texture) for only $10 was an easy buy for me! To enter the sanctuary section of the farm, it's only $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 which is a very fair entry fee considering all of the different animals you get to see up close. The sanctuary is exceptionally well-kept and if you'd like to feed any of the animal it's just $2 for a bag of hay which is a steal! This is a wonderful place to take cute photos, go for a stroll, and buy produce that you can be sure is farm fresh quality. Above all, your visit helps so many adorable rescue animals that call this place home. They do accept card but cash is best to avoid the $1 processing fee from the card processing system. If visiting during the summer, they sell cold drinks and have plenty of shaded areas (the entire farm produce area is shaded with great ventilation from fans) but bringing a portable fan or mister so you can stay out as long as you like is even better! :) Highly recommend

Well we were up in this end of the valley and my dining partner wanted to get some Filipino food at the take out hot line . We were there at around 10:20, and pretty much as always, it was pretty disorganized , the music so loud you couldn't hear the counter help. And while the hot item trays were full, there were no noodles (pancit) which was one of the items we wanted. We also wanted lechón, but the would not cut a large piece in half and we were forced to spend $29.00 for the whole piece. Ok, now here is the real reason for the one star . We wanted the 12% discount. The counter lady said we couldn't have it because we didn't register with the app. I pointed out that the 12% discount sign on the counter in front of her only said proof of age required and to the best of my knowledge a drivers license proved age. She was adamant , so we paid and I went to look for a manager or at least someone who would listen and had two brain cells to discuss this with me. Finally found a cashier (maybe the head cashier) , explained the situation and while she told me the process had changed, I pointed out the signage hadn't and they should honor the discount based on the sign. She did relent and gave me a discount of almost four dollars.... I'll stick to island pacific

Best candy shop in the world! Is it expensive? Sure is, but it's worth it. According to my receipt,…read morea pound of chocolate is $36.50 bucks now. I worked at a See's in the Bay Area in the early 2000s and a pound used to be under 13 bucks. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and the woman who came out of the back was very friendly and kind. She asked me if I wanted a sample- yesss, please- and asked if I wanted something with nuts or no nuts- she gave me a dark cali brittle- LOVE. I ended up buying $41 worth of randomly bagged candy for me and my fam and in return I got a stamped reward card for June- If you spend 40 bucks in a transaction, you get a stamp for the month. Get 3 months stamped by October and you get a $20 gift card- more stamps equals a higher denomination gift card but I don't remember what she said. She also threw in a handful of samples while checking out. I guess this is a new thing bc I was at a see's candies in Reno earlier in the week and they also gave me a healthy serving of samples (almond royales & peppermint krispies). This location gave me an even more generous sample of almond royales and cafe latte krispies. Love it. Will I be back? Always.
