We had no kids or grandkids with us. The place is quiet and homey. Winterport is a very quiet area, which is exactly what we wanted. We took day trips to Acadia and Rockland. Look at the photos and read the website--the descriptions are accurate in every detail. When you know what to expect, you won't be disappointed. Your expectations will be exceeded by the hosts! Yes, there are stairs. And there is no TV and no refrigerator in every room. The wifi worked perfectly for us all. It is an old-fashioned B&B with wonderful old-fashioned furnishings. Ann is very friendly and accommodating. She was always available, but left us alone unless we had a question. Traveling can be expensive, but this place is an incredible value!
