Ronnie offered to take us to see my grandparents homes in Allanton and Carluke. He not only drove us there, he knocked on the door of my great grandparents house. Current owner invited us all in to meet everyone. The 90 year old owner was a person I met in 1964 while visiting my grandparents . He remembered my mother and father. He also remembered me when I was 8 years old at the time. Ronnie went out of his way to make this meeting happen. I highly recommend Rockets Taxi. It was well worth the time and money.

Got a taxi from Wellman cars from chalterhault park to my house from reg number FD58DAW. My son is…read more3 year old and had to climb to his seat because he's small. We had just left a park and my son left a couple of muddy footprints on his seat due to the climbing. It will come off with a wet cloth!His car was already filthy before this.This taxi driver spent the whole journey making us feel uncomfortable. Snide remarks and shouted a couple of times as well because of this couple of footprints on his seat. I kept my mouth shut thinking if I said anything right now he would turf us out and leave us abandoned. After getting told that all their taxi drivers have card machines he told me I couldn't use card and forced me to go to a bank machine. I nip out to grab money from the machine and he's in the back of the car doing something. He was holding my son down and grabbing him forcefully. He dropped us off and shouted at me as well then has complained that I stood up for myself eventually after having to deal with any of this. Wellman trying to cover up instead of deal with it. Haven't even heard back from them or had as little as an apology.

Cars usually turn up…read morewithin minutes though it is a busy company, and from time to time the receptionist will say how long it will be before one is available. In my experience the taxi will appear before the stated time. All drivers are pleasant and hospitable and cars are kept clean and tidy. Identification badges are always clearly on display for the drivers. Driving standard is also high and I have been well able to relax on any trip. I usually find prices to be cheaper than many other companies and great value for money.

He was a wealth of knowledge, very personable and resourceful. When James learned we had not visited the Kelpies on our canal boat holiday he confirmed what time our flight was and then said, "We can make it!" He promptly routed us to the Kelpies, got us through the gate a few minutes early, took photos and then whisked us off in plenty of time for our flight. Highest recommendations. Can't wait to book a future golf tour with him.
