If you have a lot of metal when you first enter you will stick to your right because you will drive over the area that says " Truck Scale" they will prompt you when to move onto the scale. They weigh your truck and by looking right they give you a green light to go ahead. After you get the green light you drive towards the back where you unload all your metal. Once your done you will go back to the truck scale and weigh your truck without the metal. After your done you will park anywhere get off and stand in line at the cashier so they can give you a check for the amount of your metal. Now if you selling cans/ scrap stuff that isn't as large you' would drive in get off and then get asstaince that way but since we had large metal pieces our process was different. It is a crazy little process but nonetheless an experience to understand.

We have a rental home in San Antonio Texas and We paid them a total of $550.00 Cash for 2 separate trash removals and on the second visit they promised that they would return the very next day to take 2 pieces of large tree trunks that they said that would not fit in their truck or trailer and they never showed up the next day to pick it up. I texted them 2 days later and they promised once again that they would pick it up on Monday and they never showed up on Monday. It is 3 weeks later and they have not picked up the tree trunks and they never responded to my last text. I will make a note on this posting when they contact me to make arrangements to pick up the tree trunks and once they have removed the tree trunks from our property.

It's emptied regularly, so the clothing doesn't pile up. It's just a big bin that appears to run on solar panels (although I'm not sure if that's just for show). The speil about the organization on the side of the bin is vague and confusing, but I think that it's just textile recycling. You should take your wearable used clothes to a donation center like Goodwill. This is not the same. This is to keep your unwanted clothes out of a landfill. If you have clothing with tears or stains or shoes with worn soles, this is a good place to drop them off. There's at least a chance they'll be recycled somehow. I've not run into the issue of people "scavenging" there, but I honestly wouldn't care if they were. If someone wants to use my old stained and torn clothes, they can go for it!

Two people there were regulars because they apparently knew each other, one being the guy with a truck bed full of stuff. I say that because one asked the other if he had, "found anything good tonight". So instead of this stuff supposedly getting donated, by free, by the goodness of people, some dishonest, ugly human beings were stealing it to sell off or use for themselves. This is not how it's intended to work, and it doesn't work like this. If it got shut down then good, it's easy enough to take things to Goodwill around the corner, which is an organization we can all confide in to do their mission they've set out to do.

I researched where to legally dispose of gasoline and found this facility on Culebra. You have to bring a copy of your CPS bill to show you are paying the environmental fee. We are. Otherwise, I believe there is a charge. The facility is just east of 410 on Culebra. Drive up, the attendant asks what you have. Show him your CPS bill. He takes the waste and you leave. Didn't take 5 minutes! If you consider this a downside, they keep the gasoline containers. I don't. So glad to be rid of that gasoline. Go there.
