Here's the deal we were lost as heck when we first came in but so thankful for the nice workers who helped us out. If you have a lot of metal when you first enter you will stick to your right because you will drive over the area that says " Truck Scale" they will prompt you when to move onto the scale. They weigh your truck and by looking right they give you a green light to go ahead. After you get the green light you drive towards the back where you unload all your metal. Once your done you will go back to the truck scale and weigh your truck without the metal. After your done you will park anywhere get off and stand in line at the cashier so they can give you a check for the amount of your metal. Now if you selling cans/ scrap stuff that isn't as large you' would drive in get off and then get asstaince that way but since we had large metal pieces our process was different. It is a crazy little process but nonetheless an experience to understand. read more

Next day Michah Bolch calls and tells us that Dora had informed him to pickup full size freezer, no sooner did he call and he was at our driveway. No monies earned here with a large recyclable or receipt for donation. Not much in service when you call, that's if you get your call answered. read more

For a recycling plant/yard center, place that pays you for metal, ferrous and non ferrous, both. The prices are competative in comparison with the other few recycling yards in town. The customer service is good from the staff. Most of the staff are usually quite helpful, although in my experiences, "Pancho" is usually the one that help me separate my different non ferrous metals into the buckets and wagons which are supplied by the business for your convenience. Make sure you listen to the attendant as those yards do have a large amount of heavy equipment and other possiblly dangerous hazards for people who are not paying attentions and being aware of their surroundings as it is a working recycling yard. However, if you take note of that, stay alert, and listen to the rules and verbal instructions from staff, it's very safe, and kind of fun to watch the big claw ripping up pieces of a car hood, or the big crane with the magnet at the end is another fun machine to watch in action due to the sheer size and strength behind its magnetic power is pretty mesmerizing in my humble opinion. If you plan on visiting and making some money, bring state identification. No deals with out that. And if you don't want to be paid in check form fill out a paper for a cash card and that way you don't have to pay the $5 inconvenience fee from Security Service credit union, as that's the credit union that they go through for their checks. And you will get one for the non ferrous materials with out a cash card. read more

I came to this location to get a certified empty weight for my truck. It's a cash only place and I left all my money at home. The clerk offered to hold the ticket for me until returned later with my full weight. When I returned fully packed and ready for a cross-country trip she told me she destroyed the other ticket. Why promise to hold the receipt when I could've found the nearest ATM and paid upfront. This place just cost me a lot of time and money. I don't recommend it. read more

More recently I dropped off auto parts that I replaced with parts from an automotive store and didn't want to end up in the landfill. The staff was friendly. The 14lbs of scrap metal I brought returned me about $1. Of course, in this case I only cared about getting the stuff recycled. These people continue to be the rudest people I have ever been around. Not 1 customer in the place while a group of 8 workers is about 50 feet away, gawking in my direction, chatting and having a good ole time.
