This is a worthwhile tourist destination. The regular ticket gets you up in the tower, where there are two levels to look out at the 360 view. They have additional paid options to go up higher, or tether yourself outdoors if you are the daring type. While I enjoyed the visit to the top, the snack bars gave me what I would call the worst hot dog of my life. I honestly didn't even finish it. It was discolored, undercooked, and tasteless. Ack! They have a huge gift shop to visit after. I wouldn't recommend ordering from their snack bars at the top, but otherwise, this was a good visit. If you are in Toronto, the CN Tower is a mandatory stop. What stood out most was the organization despite the heavy crowd the staff kept everything moving smoothly. The staff: were very professional. They guide you throughout security efficiency and are happy to answer questions. Food: we tried to burgers and pizza at the casual eatery upstairs, and they exceeded our expectation for tourist food very flavorful. atmosphere: it's a photographer dream. Seeing everyone getting expired for their shot at to the creative live. Everyone is on their thing so there is no feeling intimidated on recording or snapping your pictures. Value: by using the city pass, we found the cost to be very reasonable for a family outing. The facility are clean and well maintained whether you are interested in the history of the structure or just want the best view of Canada, this place delivers 100%. Just happened April 10th CN tower has a 50th years old anniversary in the tower and they host a disco in 70th theme. Fun in there. The view is amazing . I chose the time close to sunset so that I am able to view day time and night time view. I also went to the top which cost extra $12. It is higher and more cloud around when I went there. The view over there look downwards. Nothing more special if you want to save that money. It is fun and standing on the glass floor. I also did the edge walk. $199 plus tax including the tower walk and the top. There is video and 2 pictures provided. It was so much fun and the view is great. I have to follow the instructions to lean backwards and forward to the open edge. It is very safe with whole lots of safety measures. read more

I visited the CN Tower once as a kid but barely remembered it, so I figured it was time for a revisit now that I'm older and pass by it all the time. It's obviously a super cool experience. Standing on the famous glass floor and looking straight down is both awesome and a little terrifying. The views from up there are beautiful l, you can see so much of Toronto and the surrounding area. We also paid the extra $12 each to go all the way to the very top... it is insanely high up there. You really can see everything from that vantage point. It's definitely a pricey experience, but it's one of those things that's worth doing at least once in your life. The staff were also very friendly and helpful during our visit. We had an amazing view from 1810 feet high in the sky on our short day trip visit to downtown Toronto, Canada. We were told multiple times the CN Tower was a must see and it did not disappoint. This view was absolutely stunning and it provided for a very nice afternoon. Unfortunately, there was a field trip or multiple taking place that day (4/29/26) so there were multiple middle school age students running around, yelling, jumping on the glass bottom floor sections, etc. this made it a bit disturbing and not quite as romantic or peaceful, but we embraced the view as much as possible. We definitely would've stayed for cocktails and lunch, but decided to go elsewhere since the students were running around what appeared to be unsupervised. read more

Ok hear me out. Was this a cool place to go to? yeah it is a cool place to go to, however I have to give this 3 stars as it's quite pricey for what it is, and if you do the "all the way to the top experience" even more. If you are afraid of heights, this is really not for you, if you are wanting views of the city then that is exactly what you get. You are whisked up a super fast elevator to the first observatory area and can stay as long as you like, or so it feels. You are met with everyone taking selfies against the glass, so sometimes you may need to sneak your way in if you want some unobstructed viewing. The "all the way to the top" experience, you have to select your time, when you purchase the tickets. When your time is close you go to a designated area and go up another super fast elevator another 30 floors. Up some steps to the top observation deck. You truly feel the height at this point, and to be fair I thought the views were better from the lower observation deck, we did not need much time up here to look around. It did not help that I had just watched one of the Final Destination movies, with a tower that collapses, but other than those thoughts in the back of my head, everything was solid. For the price point, I wish that you got some history, or a mini 'tour' at the observation decks with facts etc. While they do have a storyboard on the wall at the first observation deck, it's not quite the same. read more

Reservation states a minimum of $75/adult is needed but does include the entrance to the observation deck, which by itself is like 30/40$?, so really that pays itself. The views and rotating deck were a really nice experience but it is 100 plus floors up so be prepared if you don't like heights. I went to CN Towel on a weekday morning, earliest available spot. It was peaceful and had most of the space for myself. It was really nice to watch the flights take off and land at the Billy Bishop airport near by. The revolving restaurant was closed when I went, due to a labor protest. So unfortunately missed dining there. The thing I truly loved about this tower was the glass bottom area where you see all the way below. I went to Burj Khalifa as well but since Burj Khalifa floor space is occupied by other business, you dont get to see the bottom like we do here at CN. If you are hungry for a quick bite or a light lunch, try George's hot dogs ( a street cart in front of the tower), it is amazing. read more

Wish there is more to the CN Tower. Even the staff that sell the tickets really didn't "sell" the Tower. No interesting signage, there were monitors in a room but nothing was streaming to share anything special about the tower. Even the staff operating the elevators didn't say anything about the view, the height of the Tower, anything! When you get to the top the kiosk serving coffee wasn't even open; it would have been a much welcome thing to have hot beverages on a cold day. The only thing commendable is when I left my bucket hat, it was quickly returned to security and I was able to retrieve it. read more

Definitely recommend getting tickets online instead of waiting in line, I bought them on my phone for the selected time slot just outside the entrance and went in easily. You first scan your ticket for the waiting room, which is a nice little exhibit on the history of the tower, then when it's time for your slot, you're allowed entry into the elevator. I went just after the sun went down, and the views at night were stunning! Once you get to the top, you're free to roam, take pictures, and stay as long as you like. Don't forget the lower level included with general admission. The lower level does have an outer deck, but the high barrier keeps the cold out pretty well despite it being 40°F outside. The glass floora are only a small section, but still fun if brave enough to stand on them. There were 2 restaurants on the general admissionTicket price is relative compared to other city towers. There are two restaurants serving cocktails, wine, and beer on the GA level. Then there is the 360 restaurant you need reservations for. Had a fun time and enjoyed it here, though I've seen more offered at other attractions like this. Still recommend while in Toronto. read more

We were in Toronto on 23 May and our tour operator had set us up with a visit to the CN Tower. Unfortunately, on the day of our visit, the weather was windy, cloudy and raining. The visibility from the tower was almost zero. The Staff was very nice about warning visitors that the weather was not the best for viewing and that there were no "rain checks" for the Tower. Sadly, this was the only day we had for this tour. We would say that the CN Tower is amazing and what glimpses we did have were outstanding. The Staff were helping every way they could in spite of the terrible weather. One item we did find interesting is that should the winds get too high for the elevator to operate, you are not allowed to leave the top of the Tower and they have had an instance where people had to stay overnight. They have bedding and emergency food provisions for this type issue but we cannot imagine being stuck there in a high wind. Our hero for this day was a young man at the check in desk named Nisarg. We entered the main entrance as it was raining hard with the wind blowing. Since we had group sales tickets, we needed to check in at a counter back outside before you came into the main entrance. As Nisarg was explaining this to us, all we could think about was going back out in the cold, blowing rain and try to find the group counter. Nisarg was nice enough to leave his desk and walk us outside and take us to the counter. The fact this young man was willing to leave his nice, dry desk and go outside just amazed us - outstanding customer service! We will be back to the CN Tower on another trip to truly enjoy the view and we will ask about Nisarg. His great attitude and willingness to help a couple of visitors made up for us not being able to see much from the top. I was a bit underwhelmed by the experience at the CN tower. We got the "all the way to the top" experience, which let you go up 30 more floors from the base top level. It's always cool to see a city from a high angle, but when you get up there it's a bit sterile. Mainly it's people taking photos from the glass. The "outdoor area" didn't look or feel like you were outside. The top area was particularly underwhelming and cramped. The views were worse than below, despite being higher, because it was mainly covered. I would have loved to see things about the history of the tower, the city of Toronto, or any other other attractions to entertain patrons. With the $60 CAD pricepoint, I sadly could not recommend this experience. read more

Definitely one of our bucket list items to visit in Toronto. CN Tower is an iconic attraction offering 360 degree views of Toronto. We were debating on whether we have lunch first before climbing to the top or just make the journey and queue up in the long line. We selected lunch at 360 Restaurant, which included complimentary access to the Main Observation Level after the meal. This was a far better experience for us and helped us avoid the long wait. There is a minimum of $75 food per person purchase requirement that we easily eclipsed with a multi-course lunch. The views from the Main Observation Level is breath-taking. It is said that you can see New York State on a clear day. The wasn't the case during this trip. Also, it was windy during our visit and caused the tower to sway. It was an interesting experience and we immediately appreciated the design of this engineering marvel. The Lower Observation Level has the glass floors providing guests with either wonder and amazement or heart-stopping sensation and fear. After watching a few kids complete a few jumping jacks and stomps, I believed they are sound and secure. There's also an OverView experience where you can lean out the edge 113 storeys high. This is almost similar to the TILT attraction in the 360 Chicago Building. There's an outdoor Terrace, which we didn't dare to venture out to see due to the winds. Finally the Artmoshpere is an immersive and interactive art centerpiece featuring animations by various Canadian artists. There's an EdgeWalk attraction for thrill seekers. Guests are harnessed in can walk the 5 foot wide ledge around the main pod. This experience is $199 CAD. Though the price was tempting, we decided to bookmark this for when we return. Queueing up to take the elevator to the ground floor was another adventure. There are stanchions to help guide guests to the elevators. Somehow there was confusion by staff on who was next in line causing the queue to grow and fruscustomers. Overall, I do recommend expriencing this iconic tower at least once. There was a Leafs game the night we went so we got a nice view of a big screen from a nearby rooftop! Visiting the CN tower was THE ONE touristy thing my teenage son wanted to do while in Toronto, mostly because this landmark was featured in a Drake song from a few years ago. Unfortunately we sat in traffic for almost 2 hours at the exit ramp because of a big accident, which definitely delayed our arrival and plans to have dinner at the rotating 360 restaurant. Because we had missed our dining reservation and they were at capacity for the restaurant at that time, we purchased tickets for the main and lower observation decks and made the most of our visit there. We were able to experience all of the must do things like walking on the glass floor, leaning out on the OverView area, and being able to hear the sounds of the city and feel the open air in the Outdoor Terrace, which was very cool. The tickets for just the main and lower observation decks were $45 a person while the restaurant has a $75 per person spend but includes food, the rotating views of the city, and access to the main and lower decks after your meal, which makes the restaurant a much better deal and experience in my opinion. While I wished we could have experienced the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant and enjoyed the views away from the crowds, it just didn't work out that way for us. We shopped at the gift shop there and grabbed a snack from the cafe before making our way back to the car. We had a great time at the CN tower and are very happy we were able to spend some time there. read more

A great stop on our trip to Toronto. How can you go to Toronto and not go to CN Tower? We visited the week of American Thanksgiving which means it was not a local holiday. The lines were fairly short, it wasn't too crowded and it was a nice day. So we got some good pictures, were able to hang out, walk around, and relax. There were a good amount of tables to have a Canadian Canada Dry :) and take break in between wandering around and looking at the exhibit. It was easy to find our way from the parking structure to the tower and the prices are terrible to visit. I would visit again on my next visit. read more

We visited last November and decided to check out CN Tower. I think we visited during the off season which was great. We had no line to buy tickets and no long wait for the elevator. Once we go to the observation deck, it was pretty open and you could walk around inside and there were a few areas you could go outside. I absolutely loved the views from the observation deck. There is also a small cafe where you can order a snack and have a drink. I really appreciate there were places to sit and relax while still enjoying the views. This year I went to another tower and honestly CN Tower does everything so much better. I far more enjoyed this experience. I thought the prices were reasonable. You are not rushed out and you can take your time taking in the views and relaxing. The gift shop when you exit had a lot of options for souvenirs, there is something for everyone. read more

Someone in my party paid, so I'm unable to comment on pricing and/or value. We didn't eat or drink anything inside, but managed to check out everything on the main (346 metres, 1,136 feet) and lower (Glass Floor, Outdoor Terrace, OverView, Artmosphere) observation levels. There's also Edgewalk, which is a full-circle, hands-free journey around the exterior of the Tower's main pod. It was pretty surreal to see Toronto from such an awesome vantage point. We were visiting Toronto and since the crowds were minimal and lines nonexistent, we opted to take the ride up. It was a clear day and so the view were great! General admission provides access to two levels. The upper level is the main observation area, but part is blocked off for a casual dining area. That said there were plenty of views from the non dining areas on that level. The lower level features a glass floor area, an area with some open windows so you can feel the wind/outdoor air without doing the edgewalk thing....There was a Blue Jays game going on and it was fun to see that from so high above! Great views of the city airport too. I was definitely happy we did this but if visibility wasn't was bad or the lines long I'd probably skip it and try again later. read more

There were 2 floors we were able to access the main floor where you can take nice pictures of the city and eat at the little cafe stations. Visited the CN Tower for the first time and it was enjoyable. We went around 4:30-6:00 pm and it was perfect- a clear day and we got the see the city in daylight and saw the beautiful colours of the night sky and the lights of the city. I did look over the edge and could see straight down. I've been to a revolving restaurant elsewhere and I prefer how the CN tower revolves a bit faster so you feel you are moving. It's just the right pace. The Winterlicious dinner we had was good but nothing special so a bit pricy but I guess that happens at tourist attractions. On the lower floor you can go just to look out and there's a bar and you can order food too but less formal than the upstairs restaurant. The service was a bit rushed as each course came rather quickly so no time to sit and relax. We were told we could go to the lower floor to continue looking out if we wanted. Didn't like the rushing of my tea at the end but unfortunately it seems like that's the norm these days. The servers were pleasant though. read more

I was extremely young the first time I visited the CN Tower. I was in kindergarten (I want to say junior) when my class did a field trip to the tallest free-standing structure in the world back then. I remember taking the elevator all the way to the top. I felt the slight pressure in my ears as we ascended, but it wasn't crazy. I didn't like being up so high. Yes, I wasn't great with heights then. I'm slightly better now. Slightly. The CN Tower started being built in 1973. In 1976, it was completed. It was the tallest free-standing structure for decades. It was dethroned in 2007. It is now the tallest free-standing structure in the western hemisphere and the tenth tallest one in the world. Not too shabby. I remember taking my friend, who was visiting Toronto for the first time, up to the CN Tower's observation deck. We both lived in Winnipeg at the time and were in town for our friend's wedding. My friend loved it. What was new about the observation deck was the see-through glass floor. He was fine with it. It made me freeze. It was scary to me walking on it and looking down. There's a restaurant that slowly rotates as you dine. It's cool, but it's expensive to dine there. Frankly, the price to get into this structure is expensive. However, if you're a tourist and want nice photos of Toronto, I'd recommend going for it. You will never see me doing the outdoor EdgeWalk. I wouldn't do it if you paid me a ton of money. I'd rather be poor than risk getting a heart attack and dying of fear. You can find parking nearby. It can be expensive. It may be better to take public transit down to Union station and walk over. Our visit to the CN Tower was seamless. We went around 10am on a Wednesday. It was easy to purchase the city pass out front. Once we entered we moved right through the line for the elevator up. The view was absolutely amazing. We didn't make any purchases at the cafe but we did enjoy ALL of the view. We walked from our hotel so I can't comment on parking.
