Measured after I stacked was little light but It was after Thanksgiving so wanted to get it and stack before snowfall. Employee hyped how good their wood was. Delivered and lots of semi-rotted pieces, chunks and odd cuts, lengths, cut angles and mud covered pieces. Lot of bark under pile. All hidden below the "good" pieces after I had stacked 1st half. could tell was stored directly on ground looked like it was their last load. Had to split it alot further to burn at all last yr. Burned poorly It is 1 yr later and what is left finally burns well. My bad for not checking moisture and not sending it back. Buyer beware.

We live on hard pan/gravel and wanted at least our backyard to be lovely. After letting 4 other contractors come and tell us what they thought well we just shook our heads. In comes Shane with exactly what we learned. We didn't tell Shane anything except what we told all the others.....we want a very nice lawn. Note all this research was double checked by a landscaping man that I have dealt with for over 30 years (and still dealing with). Our landscaping man doesn't install turf/seed just sells product. Shane has the knowledge and all the right equipment to give you a beautiful lawn. Please note the right equipment is needed. Scratching our earth or a couple inches of top soil would of been a huge waste of time and money. We would of fighting year after year with a ton of fertilizer and a ton of water which we don't have (we are on a well). Shane tilled the earth with a Harley rake on steroids, had a finshing machine and a slice seeder. Big plus all the other contractors had one type of seed blend. Not Shane. I wanted more of a fescue blend due to our conditions. Only man I found that knows his business and wants to give his customer exactly what they need. Even a bigger plus his pricing is very competitive. For those of you who have dealt with contractors this man actually shows up, answers your questions....responds by phone and to emails.
