My instructor would refuse to educate me, from mistakes I made, but instead belittle me and even my peers. I have also been falsely accused of sexual assault by my RA, and I had nearly been terminated because of this. The RA had refused to hear my side of the story, and had sent me to another dorm. Then the boss of the e building, threatened to press assault charges on me, simply for placing my hand onto my friends shoulder. There is a huge hypocrisy, drug, and fraud problem here on this center. I definitely do not recommend coming here.

The neat thing was that you could go as fast or as slow as you wanted, follow the instructor or slightly create your own masterpiece, and no one picture came out the same way (hey, I'm not artist but I was really concentrating). The class alternates between instruction for each step and periods of music where you just create. It was easy enough to follow, and it was fun to put my own spin on the design. Parents, onsite staff and counselors are facilitating/chaperoning events, while your children are there. The center opens at 5pm and closes at 8pm. I did have to come back another day to get a patch of hair re-dyed because it was missing, which wasn't a big deal and a teachable moment.

My review is in regard to getting a cut, I had a few hours in ABQ and needed a cut pretty badly. I…read morehad pretty long hair, I made an appointment the previous day and requested a senior student and told them I was quite nervous. On the phone and in person they reassured me, and in person they reassured me. I had a student in her final week. I asked for 90's blowout cut. The instructor came by once and briefly looked at wet cut hair. Everyone was so so nice. But it took her an hour and a half to do the cut, and I had already told them I only had an hour and a half. So I left without my hair really styled, and I ran on my way. When I got home I gave my hair a proper wash so I could put product in and style it. That is when I noticed the terrible butcher chop that was my hair. I reached out to the school to get my $20 refunded and they said I needed to email them photos to the owner. It has been nearly two weeks and radio silence. Please see photos for evidence. The two sides of my hair looked nothing alike. I had to cut it to the highest chop, so now I have a bit of a lob when I already wanted to preserve my length. And I had to pay someone to save my hair so this $20 cut has cost far more. Just know not to come here for a cut...she was in her final week and will be in an ABQ salon shortly.
