The primary daycare room has a lot of natural light, along with several play stations, a family board, and a personal cubbie for each kid. We couldn't be happier with the level of care AND education provided by the caregiver. The price for care is also very reasonable for all that is provided. Communication about everything has also been a positive, as the teacher will reach out whenever is needed, along with extra updates of daily activities. We can't recommend Bright Start enough!

Her teachers understood this, and my anxiety around it. They went out of their way to let me know how it was going, what foods she was showing interest in, and making sure that she was eating. It feels like a partnership with her teachers, something I appreciate and value. During the COVID-19 crisis, being able to see her teachers and friends via Zoom was great and we appreciated being sent activities to do (and to be able to do activities on the Facebook page). We're thrilled to be going back and I know she can't wait to get back to her "Purple Cows!"

We knew this was a wonderful place from the moment we walked in for the school tour. After a couple of months in the little-ones room, one of his teachers asked us if he was also very quiet at home and that we could check with the Dr. for some hearing problems. Sure enough, he was not hearing well! The pediatrician even said that a school/teacher that can recognize something like this is a keeper, and we were happy to found out early as we could correct the issue. My son loves the school and all the teachers. It is a very inclusive school teaching both sign language and Spanish. During COVID, the teachers kept in touch and the school organized events to keep in contact with the students which I found quite nice.

I am sorry that Bianca B did not approach me and let me know of her concerns. I take pride in knowing that my educators are engaged with the children throughout the day whether it be through academic centers or free play. I see children with happy faces engaging with their peers, I see educators interacting with the children, becoming excited as the children accomplish a new task, offering comfort and love when the children need that extra hug. Again, I apologize to Bianca B and I wish that she had approached me with her concerns. I most certainly would have addressed them. I have been working with children and parents since 1991 and I truly love what I do.

Their hours are very flexible (which was essential for us) and they have treated our last two snow days extremely cautiously and fairly (half days!!! thank you!!!) which is essential for working parents. All the staff know daughter by name (not just her classroom teachers!) and greet her happily every day. She has learned so much and the daily communication through their app, including pictures, really makes me feel as I am connected to her even when we are away. There is times when I was picking up my child and the teachers are all on there phones and ignoring all of the children right Infront of me. Children would be fighting over a toy and the teachers would be chatting away just ignoring the whole situation. Not having proper ratios for teacher to children. There is a huge turn over rate for teachers, I know something was weird when all the great teachers left the facility and were replaced. The state that the school is a Montessori school, but I hardly ever saw anything of that matter. The school randomly decided to close for a whole week for the week of fourth of July. They gave the parents a months notice. I reached out to the director about how I was not able to get this time off. Being a single mother. She didn't care and was super rude to me. There is no structure in this facility and its sad because it use to be a great day care. Please do not send your children here.
