If I could give zero stars I would…read more My son attended Strawberries Early Learning Center for just two days and in that short time I witnessed clear signs of neglect and unprofessionalism that no parent should ever experience. On the first day he was sent home in a full diaper despite me providing diaper ointments and clearly stating in the enrollment forms and verbally that he has extremely sensitive skin. By the second day he came home with a severe painful diaper rash with peeling skin. I was heartbroken. When I calmly raised my concerns to the director instead of taking accountability or even expressing concern for my child's health she retaliated and removed my son from the daycare on the spot. As I was leaving she clapped her hands at me called me crazy and threatened to call the police while I was already walking off the property with my son. Her behavior was loud degrading and completely unprofessional. A 51A report has now been filed by a Worcester police officer who was also shocked by the photos of my son's condition. I have also filed complaints with the Department of Early Education and Care and will be pursuing further action with MCAD EEOC and the BBB. And this is just my experience not everyone will have the same one but I'm posting this because no one should let all the positive reviews blind them. Every year the daycare asks parents to leave reviews on Google because that's how they boost their enrollment numbers. Do your own research ask questions and trust your gut.

I just can't thank them enough, I feel so comfortable dropping him off knowing he's in good hands

We found that our children were more than prepared to begin their journey in kindergarten. The skills and principles taught to them built a strong foundation as they began elementary school. It was bittersweet to say goodbye because the staff really became like family. I cannot say enough positive things about Jen Morse, the Center's Director, and her entire leadership team, the teachers, assistants, chef, etc. It was clear from the first day I visited when I was evaluating schools before having my son, that everyone truly cares for each child, enjoys their work and have great respect for each other. The majority of the staff that were there the day we joined the NGCC family are still there today, and that says everything. I was very impressed with the diverse curriculum and the attention they give each child. NGCC having an onsite kitchen and chef that prepares healthy, kid friendly meals for the students was a life saver for this working mom because I didn't have to spend the time packing up meals each night. Instead, I was able to spend that time with my family which was invaluable. Children are life's greatest treasures, and I want to thank everyone at NGCC Marlborough for taking such great care of my little man when I couldn't be there. If we do have another child, he/she will be enrolling there!

My child has a speech delay, and is receiving speech therapy for this. Obviously it is difficult to understand sometimes, totally unacceptable for Kerri! She only wants the perfect obedience from a child in her care. The staff were dealing with her speech issue. I totally understand it's frustrating! I'm with her all the time! The people who were with her on a daily basis were really good about her speech. Kerri would be in the room for 2 minutes and have a whole report on her delay. We know she has a speech delay, she is getting speech services! When I questioned her page long report, Kerri was very hostile, and rude. The next day she said we were no longer welcome in her child care facility, and that our spot had been given to another child. No warning for this, I was so extremely disappointed and saddened that a person working with children would do something like this to a child and a family! I lost my job due to this. As I got 0 notice about this, and was stuck! No openings in any other facility in my area! Totally unprofessional way to run a business. It's been almost a year, and my daughter has improved tremendously! She's right on track and doing well in school!! I'm 7 months pregnant with another daughter, who thank heavens will be far away from Child Works!!

The directors know every parent and child by name, and the teachers send frequent photos, videos, and other updates throughout the day. They have taken the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously and have added appropriate protocols to keep everyone feeling healthy and safe. The family coordinator has helped me change our schedule numerous times without even a blip. I can't recommend this center highly enough, they're just awesome.

When they started they barely could hold a pencil right never mind write letters. Since they have been there within a month they not only can hold a pencil right but write letters (and enjoy doing so)!! They love going to this school. They especially love the science lab (we do too) and the indoor playground/gym. Unlike their previous school, this school doesn't keep the kids outside when it's too cold (30 is the cutoff) and when it is too cold or rainy they still get to spend their energy in a warm setting in their indoor playground which is the equivalent of those indoor playgrounds with safe and fun climbing structures. Another positive about this school is that the directors And teachers listen when you have a concern and make Sure it's addressed. Oh and meals are included although I tend to send my twins in with extra food because they are going through a growth spurt and are picky eaters. While this school is double what we used to pay it's absolutely worth it. My kids have flourished there and it makes going to work easier. Thank you OFLC for a job well done!
