He was four years old when he started, so preparation for kindergarten and socialization with other preschoolers was key. I have seen him gain so much self condidence and independence. He runs in his classroom each day eager to meet his friends. It is so cute to see. At the end of the day, he is never ready to leave. He's having so much fun. This is our last month at Shrewsbury Children's Center and I will miss the all teachers and staff. I feel my child has had a wonderful learning experience at this school and would highly recommend it for children of any age. He is ready and excited to be starting Kindergarten in the fall.

There is times when I was picking up my child and the teachers are all on there phones and ignoring all of the children right Infront of me. Children would be fighting over a toy and the teachers would be chatting away just ignoring the whole situation. Not having proper ratios for teacher to children. There is a huge turn over rate for teachers, I know something was weird when all the great teachers left the facility and were replaced. The state that the school is a Montessori school, but I hardly ever saw anything of that matter. The school randomly decided to close for a whole week for the week of fourth of July. They gave the parents a months notice. I reached out to the director about how I was not able to get this time off. Being a single mother. She didn't care and was super rude to me. There is no structure in this facility and its sad because it use to be a great day care. Please do not send your children here.

I was hesitant and a bit nervous to place him in a daycare but The Goddard school and the staff made me feel confident and happy about my decision. From the facility being super clean and organized, the safe drop off and pick up process, amazing directors and staff this place was awesome. My son's first teachers were Ms. Noel and Ms. Pam, two incredible people. My son fell in love with Ms. Pam. They taught him a few words in sign-language , table manners, and how to play with others. I loved how they sent me photos of him throughout the day thru an app. And if anything happened to my son even a small scratch they would tell me immediately. When my son transitioned to the next class it was hard for him at first to leave his " first love" lol but soon enough he adjusted to Ms. Catey and Ms. Myeisha. Was sad to see him cry on the his last day when we said goodbye. Above it all I loved how structured and fun it was. They did daily activities to match with the weekly theme. I now have plenty of artwork from his first year of daycare. I can go on about the school but know it's a great place where your child will be safe, loved, and learn so much. Hard to find child care here in San Diego that compares to this school.

Their hours are very flexible (which was essential for us) and they have treated our last two snow days extremely cautiously and fairly (half days!!! thank you!!!) which is essential for working parents. All the staff know daughter by name (not just her classroom teachers!) and greet her happily every day. She has learned so much and the daily communication through their app, including pictures, really makes me feel as I am connected to her even when we are away. She has learned so much and is always happy to go to "school" and see her teachers and friends. The directors are extremely responsive and always willing to help with whatever you need. It was bittersweet to say goodbye because the staff really became like family. I cannot say enough positive things about Jen Morse, the Center's Director, and her entire leadership team, the teachers, assistants, chef, etc. It was clear from the first day I visited when I was evaluating schools before having my son, that everyone truly cares for each child, enjoys their work and have great respect for each other. The majority of the staff that were there the day we joined the NGCC family are still there today, and that says everything. I was very impressed with the diverse curriculum and the attention they give each child. NGCC having an onsite kitchen and chef that prepares healthy, kid friendly meals for the students was a life saver for this working mom because I didn't have to spend the time packing up meals each night. Instead, I was able to spend that time with my family which was invaluable. Children are life's greatest treasures, and I want to thank everyone at NGCC Marlborough for taking such great care of my little man when I couldn't be there.
