We agreed on a repair to an erroneously installed piece at conference countertop. I paid in full because I was out of state. I text regarding the issue before releasing payment. I was told this would be fixed. See texts. It has been a month and I have been ghosted. My contractor also has been ghosted. I had a second countertop to order for a new cabinet and cannot get a call back for that order. Highly frustrated and disappointed. Follow through was the fail. I like to get my projects finished in a hurry and was disappointed when everyone I spoke to was giving me 12+ week lead times. The cherry on top: He quoted me a week to complete the project, and he wasn't wrong. He even met me at Lowes to pick up our farmhouse sink so that they could make their template to stick to their schedule. The fabrication and install job is literally flawless. The only seam they had to set to join the edges is literally invisible. They removed our old countertops over our freshly painted cabinets without a single scratch or ding, and they even helped me install our farmhouse sink. To summarize, I spoke to Izzet on a Wednesday, he gave me the best estimate I received on a Thursday, and the job was 100% finished the following Thursday. Izzet was fabulous -- responded quickly to my request for a quote, met me on-site to look at the different stone slabs at the time that worked best for me (not the easiest since I travel so much!), always answered the phone, stayed late to finish the job on-time (there was a snafu with my hutch!) and got the job done ahead of schedule and within budget. Also and perhaps even more importantly, I didn't know *where* to get an affordable plumber (he offered to help coordinate that), I didn't want to try to find someone to haul off the old sink/countertop (some other companies said I would need to be responsible for that), AND his team removed my custom hutch that sat on my previous countertops and then put it back -- which let me tell you, was NOT EASY. They were really, really great. Finally, there were a couple dings in the wall and a wine glass broke (I really should have moved it, but thought it'd be fine). Izzet immediately replaced the wine glass and discounted the work so I could get the little nick in the wall (from the crazy hutch removal) taken care of. First, the team figured out a way to have no seams for our configuration! Then, they were so detailed in their work that they even were able to do some pattern match alignment with the backsplashes! We are very ecstatic at the work CO Stone Yard provided in our house -- the countertops and backsplash look AMAZING! We especially appreciated how the owner showed up and personally walked us through our options, pushed nothing, offered up the chance to use remnants in ways we hadn't thought of to actually improve our project (at less cost!), and was generally very friendly, flexible, and easy to work with. Our project had hiccups, like many do -- and yet there was always clear communication, offers to try to solve problems with multiple options, and extreme ownership to the point that the owner personally visited on multiple occasions to make sure everything was up to our liking and satisfaction, even going as far to do multiple parts of the project himself (at whatever our direction was) just to make sure it was perfect. They definitely went the extra mile! In the end, they may have even done the project at a loss, but we were never once made to feel like we should pay more or that any corners would be cut -- they put our happiness above all, and that is deserving of immense respect.
