Wow - we just had the best experience with Cabinet Restoration. From start to finish, the process was very professional, very smooth and the cabinets look fantastic. Suzy was our first point of contact in getting the bid which was pretty seamless. A small deposit is put down and then the work is scheduled. We had a crew of 4 (Abner, Maggie and unfortunately we cannot remember the other two) that came to our house to close off our kitchen from the rest of the house while they sanded, painted and got the work done. They went above and beyond to get some tricky glued cork shelf liners the prior owners had put down sanded off. Our dog was pretty smitten with Maggie and wanted to be in the mix of everything which we kept him away but again, they all could not have been nicer to give him a little love as well. We had the work finished on a Saturday because they didn't want us to go the weekend without access to our kitchen. We let the paint cure for an additional week before moving back in but it was nice to have access to the fridge, microwave, etc. All in all, this is a project we are really happy with and the price was in line with the work done. We contacted Camilo and Susy after a six-month hassle with our former contractor. Our kitchen doors were poorly painted, three times, and even damaged (new custom doors) by the old contractor. So needless to say we had had enough! Susy was really quick at replying to e-mails and showed up on time, gave us all the information we needed and delivered on time. Such a relief after months of disappointments. "Wow! This is how easy it could have been all the time?" We did pay extra to have the doors installed in our kitchen and not just dropped of. I made a mistake when ordering one of the drawer fronts in the wrong size, and they even cut that to size for free, before painting it. Great service! read more

We had our kitchen cabinets painted navy and our bathroom cabinets painted white. We also had them paint our bathroom walls and trim. The price was fair, they were great with communication, reliable for showing up and got the job done quickly. They were friendly and easy to work with. While they did a good job protecting our home while doing the cabinets, I noticed some areas where there was less attention to detail. There were several touch ups I needed to ask for that should have been noticed in a walk through which I don't think happened. For the wall and trim painting there is some clumping, dripping and the corners/edges aren't well done. I had another worker point it out assuming he job wasn't complete yet. From far away the cabinets look great, but we just reached one week and we have some chips and scratches that stand out. I found following the directions to wipe clean with a damp cloth left streaking so am a bit nervous. I still love the overall look, and it was very easy to work with them. Other businesses charged more, but their product/process may have been worth the difference when it comes something we will use with such high frequency. read more

I damaged one of the cabinet doors and had to order a replacement. Because they weren't in the original color, I ordered a unfinished door and tried to paint it myself with leftover paint and it looked awful - with drips and brush strokes all over! They painted our existing kitchen cabinets and were super responsive and flexible for our own scheduling, especially given that other contractors were in the same area of the house part of the time. The whole process (for more than 40 cabinets) took less than a week, but certainly could've been wrapped up more quickly had we not had delays on our end and with other contractors. Camilo and his team did amazing work on my cabinet painting job. I almost wonder if it's possible they removed the old cabinets and installed new ones while I wasn't watching, it looks so good!! The crew was very detailed-oriented, and sealing off the kitchen as a 'booth' for the sanding/primer/paint work was such an incredibly effective step to control the mess and smell, I'm so glad they did it. Too many times other contractors just leave you with a filmy mess throughout your whole house, not these guys! They spend necessary time on the 'finesse' aspects making everything right, such as getting the cabinet doors to line up properly, and handling delicate touch-up. Camilo wasn't happy with one of the surfaces on the bathroom cabinet and took the time to re-do it, without me even asking! It's obvious they care about quality work. When they came by to pick up the cabinet doors, they were so careful, and with some of my doors being glass, there was a minor handling mishap that cracked the glass on one of the doors. The gentleman that did it was so distraught, I felt bad for him. Camilo said confidently "don't worry - we'll fix it" and boy did they ever. Like new. I was honestly more comfortable when the minor handling mishap happened since I knew from the reaction, they honestly care about striving for perfection. And they sure do.
