Unfortunately, we later discovered that the designer they worked with had left the company, along with several other senior designers. We skipped doing our own homework and ended up regretting it. We paid a $1,200 design fee, and after six months--only after we had repeatedly asked for our money back--we finally received renderings and a layout that essentially copied a design we had already created ourselves using free online software and had provided to them three months earlier, so this was incredibly disappointing. Since then, we've done our own research and found several other reputable kitchen and bath designers in the Denver area who offer an initial design, budget estimate, and timeline before requiring any payment. Often being able to provide an initial design within 2 weeks. That level of transparency and professionalism made us realize how far off our experience here was. I strongly recommend doing your due diligence as there are better options out there.

Dealt with Lacy at the store. My husband took his time to go to the store to discuss the problem and they agreed to exchange the item. Fast forward two months - apparently Lacy never ordered the shower head for exchange. Then then told us the reason she did not order it was because we had to pay for it upfront. We were NOT aware that we had to pay for the replacement of our defective shower head. So here we are - months later after the expensive master bath remodel and spending thousands on the Brizo line. Terrible customer service. They told us Brizo prefers to do the exchanges this way. I mean really how hard is it to ship a replacement head to the store and just have the person bring the old one in when the item is ready and do the exchange given the fact the product is crap and not working properly. I even asked if the local rep could come to our home to look at how crappy this shower head is and trouble shoot the issue because we were unhappy with the product. Instead Rampart said we had to have the plumber come look at it who did the remodel and at that point - the plumber really did not care - its not like he sells the product line.

This was a very nice collaborative process, where we talked about appropriate overhangs, and how to deal with window trim that might be in the way. Templating took all 20 minutes. Within a week, we had the countertops installed, and sink mounted. They were very considerate to ask us about noise levels, since they knew we had a toddler that napped around the install time. Install was less than an hour, and it looks perfect! Just all around very professional and wonderful folks.

They have provided good service every time we've shopped there and their pricing (we buy from the scratch and dent section) has been fair. I've seen the bad reviews posted, but thankfully, we have not had that experience. That's why we keep doing business with them.

We purchased a KitchenAid downdraft range Sept 25, 2024 at the Colorado Springs store where the…read moreunit was not in store and was represented as brand new "INBOX", on the purchase invoice, meaning it had the original packing and still in box from the manufacturer. At the time of installation, it was out of box and free standing with obvious scratches/dents and missing numerous parts, meaning the unit was previously sold and original parts were used as a fill-in by the dealer for other units. The unit was installed and in February 2025, we noticed defects in the unit and contacted KitchenAid only to be informed that the unit was actually manufactured October, 2015, almost 10 years old. Where has it been the last 10 years? AFW ordered an inspection February, 2025 through their affiliate Brand Source (not KitchenAid as required the 1st year) who discovered there were 4 defective/malfunctioning parts. Upon installation of the supposedly new parts, it was alleged to us that AFW would consider repurchasing the unit but proved to be false promises by the store manager. The company stated in their response to the BBB complaint, "Oh, the unit is repaired so there is nothing we will do to rectify the issue."Blatant lies, lies, lies. There is still one burner malfunctioning. We have requested copies from Brand Source of the original inspection and subsequent repair (required by the warranty) to no avail. Again, verbal garbage. There have been numerous broken promises from the manager/assistant manager and messages left on the "President Hotline" which of course, is meaningless. We have requested by email and numerous phone calls that the unit which is "refurbished/used" be repurchased with all monies paid $3546.01 which the dealer has vehemently refused. Truly this was a fraudulent transaction. WARNING: Do not do business with this disreputable company. They are dishonest, inefficient, unwilling to take any responsibility or willingness to work to resolve any situation. Lee E.
