If your a person of color i recommend taking your business elsewhere especially if your hispanic they followed my wife and 2 daughters like vultures around the store acting like they were stealing and when my wife went up to pay they looked through every single little pocket in the purse she was going to purchase they also looked through the small wallet that's no bigger then a hand through every pocket that's not only embarrassing but humiliating especially in this time of age. I have video of them acting like that and will be getting in touch with the higher ups above the branch. read more

Good greeting and then had to wait in line for longer than 5min. There were other employees in the store. They were stocking but they need to pay attention to the customer. And as I was trying to leave, the alarm went off! So I had to wait until they did whatever they did so it wouldn't sound. Waiting at a store like this, is not acceptable. My wife loves Coach. It's her preferred handbag. In fact, I think all of her handbags are Coach. She doesn't have any arm candy that isn't Coach. We've been to quite a few Coach outlets together and she knows how to find a deal. Today, I was without her at this outlet and I did not spot any massive deals. I just wasn't impressed. I thought I might pick up a wallet or a keychain or a knick-knack of some sort. The least expensive thing I spotted in the store was $100. Pass! My husband purchased a bag for my birthday from another state. We were told we could take it to another store to exchange or either the bag could be sent out for repair. We encountered a nice young lady which tried to assist us by checking with the manager name Marietta who was so rude and did absolutely nothing to help. There was a year warranty on the bag my husband purchased in September. The other manager we checked with kept saying there was nothing they could do as well. Why purchase a Coach bag when managers in certain stores will not adhere to the warranty. I don't think my husband will ever purchase from Coach again. Something should be done about the attitudes and personality of the managers not appealing at all. They have very poor customer service skills. I wish I could give them a zero! read more

If I could give no stars I would. I went in the Mebane location a the Tanger Outlet and got yelled at by one of the employees because she felt my mask was not on my face correctly. I said "ok" and started for the door to leave. As I walked out I took my mask off and she yelled, "you don't care about people" !!!! She doesn't know me and yes I do care about people and I would not have been out in any store if I thought I was infected with this virus or any other illness that can be passed to others. I have COMMON SENSE !!! I told anyone that I could the rest of my time at the outlet not to visit the Coach store unless they enjoyed being yelled at !!!!! read more

I'm surprised for the other review of this outlet. I've been to a ton of Coach outlets. Coach is my favorite type of purse and I'm pretty picky. I don't always find stuff because a lot of the ugly stuff ends up in an outlet, whereas I prefer simple, classic handbags. The staff here was really friendly and helpful. They were walking around helping with price checks due to sales. I found more bags than I could even buy here. Usually I'm lucky to find one I like. I found more! A saleslady helped me to pick which bag I wanted from two. She gave me good advice and I was happy with my purchase. I also found a little tiny bag that was almost like a clutch but had a shoulder strap. It would be perfect for traveling when you just want your phone and wallet contents, or for a wedding, etc. It was just black leather. When I checked out, the lady pointed out that they had it in tan too. Score! I got that too. For $200, a really nice brown leather bag and those two little mini bags? Yes!! Absolutely rudest store manager I've ever encountered. I truly hope Coach looks at these reviews because some seem to have the same experience. An autistic child is required to wear a mask and she has no compassion or knowledge regarding the American Disability Act. She needs to get her act together because I will drive to Boone, NC to visit their store again prior to going to Mebane. She also was whispering to other associates about people in the store, making comments on how long they've been in there, and to keep a watch on them. Are they assumed to be getting five finger discounts? As a manager, she wouldn't last in my store. read more

Amazing staff!! I had to pleasure to work with Vanessa and she greeted me from the jump. Everything was very professional from the place itself to the people working there. I ended up buying two wallets and bag which came out to a reasonable price if you know the prices vary at coach. I appreciate the time Vanessa gave me to look until I was finished. Staff was extremely rude when telling us current store policy. We had a cup of pretzel bites and a drink in the holder on the stroller and she immediately said"No Food and drinks are allowed in the store" as I am trying to decide what to do with the food and drinks she says "she will need a mask on" pointing at my 2 year old grand daughter. I said have you ever tried to keep a mask on a 2 yo? And her response was a very rude "if the parents make them they will". I have no problem following their policy, (even though 2 yo aren't required to wear mask) I have a problem with her abruptness and rudeness! Left that store went to Kate Spade with no issues and bought a bag that I absolutely love. I had already been in Tory Burch and Michael Kors with no issues. I will not be shopping in that store ever again. When I was telling someone else they had a story also of the rudeness experienced in that store. Sounds like a pattern to me. A white lady helped us with big smile, while another black girl was full of racism in her eyes. I'm Asian, and I know a lot of Chinese buy coach bags here because it's cheaper in this country. She did not help us one bit and refused to sell us anything because my family member didn't have a passport. This racism is heavy at coach, I hope Chinese can realize and stop shopping at coach period once and for all. Honesty the name is only famous for now, once something else appears and becomes more popular in China, you will lose a lot of Chinese customers. Be grateful now. We were treated so rudely today in regards to my 4 year old not wearing a mask. The lady letting people in told me that Coach was privately owned and that they set their own mandate and didn't care what the state mandate was. She said that anyone 2 years or older was required to wear a mask and that she could enforce it. Even after I put a mask on my four year old, she continued to antagonize me and talk about how Coach had lawyers, etc. and that it was perfectly legal for them to require more than the state mandate. She even said that she was trying to keep customers safe, and implied that my four year old may be carrying something. Needless to say, we left. We went down to Cole Haan where the employees seemed just as outraged as I was at how we were treated. They were awesome actually...great customer service, and they helped me pick out 3 handbags and 2 pairs of shoes. Definitely won't be shopping at Coach again. read more

Shopped at the store on Sunday Jan 10,2021and the experience was racially charged by one black female worker then harassed by the only white person, male worker at check out. My wife was looking at sunglasses so as she tried them on she would pull her, required mask wearing, down from her nose to try on the glasses to see how they looked in the small mirror at that location. After trying on one pair she would pull the mask back up over her nose. By trying on the third pair and being satisfied on what she wanted a store customer service worker came by and stated that she was not to pull her mask down in the store. My wife told her that she wanted to see what the glasses looked like since she is one who doesn't drive around with a mask on. The worker continue to get ugly then turned to me and stated that my mask needed to be pulled fully up on my nose upon my nose and not just over the tip of my nose. Since she was becoming more hostile I told her that she didn't need to not be ugly and start spreading fear over this flu. She then told me that it was people like me that has caused thousands of deaths by not having the mask fully over my nose. I told her to quit being a fear monger, she said something as she walked away then approached the white male employee stating she was not going to deal with that white couple, us. At checkout the white male employee took over one of the registers as we were second in line. He took the next customer in front of us, middle register cashier was done but the worker we had the run in with sent her off to something else. AS the white male was checking out the lady her asked her if she found everything she was looking for, asked if she shopped there before and for her email. When he finished with her we were next and as we walked up my wife said hi how are you and his immediate response was and I quote " you need to wear your mask up over your nose to me" and I stated that it was. From that point on he never greeted us, ask my wife if she shopped there of if any one helped us. My wife shops there often as she has Coach products. I don't think these guys working in the store know how to spell HONEST, and I wish I could give 0 star. This is what happened to us on 01/05/18. My mom and I looked for something to buy in the store. We were told that there's 50% discount for everything that day when we walked in. I noticed that the price of an item was 175 dollar. I asked a guy working at the store for the price after discounts applied, and I was told it was 99 dollars for that item. I felt something didn't sound right but didn't point it out until we checked out. When we were checking out, the girl said " did he (the guy telling me the 99-dollar thing) tell you the price?" I was like "yeah". Then I saw the payment processing machine showed the price of 99 dollars, as the guy told me. Then I asked a couple of questions about the item and the price after applying all possible discounts. Then the girl said something like "99 dollars is the new price for the item, bla bla bla.." At the same moment, she CHANGED THE PRICE TO $54 !!!!!! WTH! If I hadn't asked those questions, I WOULD HAVE ENDED UP WITH PAYING the $99!!!!!!! Ya'll see what I'm saying?????? I am an early Christmas shopper so when my wife saw the purse "she just had to have" I decided to go get it for her. This was in October 2017 and knowing how fast merchandise comes off the shelf, I thought that I was being proactive by sneaking a trip to the Coach outlet store in Mebane, NC and shopping early, to get that one Christmas gift that would just blow my wife's mind. Fellows B WARE.... My wife opened the gift on Christmas day and to my surprise SHE HAD AREADY PURCHASED THE PURSE. No problem right!!!!! Think again. I know all stores have return policies but most stores I have dealt with are kind of "Forgiving" when it comes to Christmas gifts. Especially when you have a MAN buying a PURSE for his wife of over 25 years. Because I shopped early for Christmas, I could not return the merchandise. I explained my dilemma but still, they would not budge. The best they could do, after an extended phone call and eventually a 45 minute trip to the store, was "bend" the rules and give me a $175.00 store credit for merchandise that I had the receipt for with a payment of $175.00 cash. Coach Factory Out gets a 1 from me and quite frankly no more of my business. I don't like to use the word never but there's a 99.9% chance that I will not be purchasing any items from this store ever again. $175.00 can feed a family, buy books for a college student, provide month's gasoline for transportation, pay for utilities, be used for medical care----- it essentially can go quite far. The new carpet was a bad move. I can't go in the store without getting vertigo. I know several others who won't be shopping there for the same reason. Ugh, it's awful. You should seriously consider removing it. I used to like shopping here. :( read more

I have been buying Coach purses & accessories for years. This outlet store was a place that I made many purchases from. I purchased a brown makeup bag in December 28, 2018 after Christmas at 70% off, I went back in the store on February 8, 2019 & made yet another purchase, the bag that I purchased had an issue with the zipper & I took it back to EXCHANGE it on February 15, 2018 just 7 days later......the sales person that assisted had NO customer service skills whatsoever, when I explained that I needed to exchange the purse that I had for only a week she looks at the manger Alex & ask if it could be exchanged or had to be sent back for repair I answered that question for Alex & stated it would be an exchange I also wanted to exchange the makeup bag that had never been used & still had the tags on it I just wanted a different color..,,the manager Alex was so rude & told me that I had the makeup bag for longer than 3 months & I wouldn't be able to exchange it now I didn't want money back & the bags were the same just wanted a black one instead of the brown one and the 70% sale was still on, but Alex was rudely determined that this wasn't going to happen so I decided to return the purse & I will never shop in this store again. I'm also going to reach out to Coach's corporate office about the treatment that I received.....I will travel to other stores to avoid this location altogether!!! I wonder why I didn't get my usual Coach Customer Experience email after my 2/15/19 visit, maybe it was due to me making a return I would have loved to explain to assistant manager Jennifer Keeney just how RUDELY I was treated by Alex. read more
