I stopped in Coach to purchase a designer bag to celebrate my upcoming birthday. I was greeted upon entering the store. I chuckled to myself when I saw a security officer. I knew Coach meant business. The store was organized, clean and everything was in place. Within a few minutes I was approached by a sales woman. My wife and I went to the Coach store today in Opryland mall to purchase a new bag. Once she picked out the one she wanted, we were looking for a matching wallet which we couldn't find. We asked an employee, his name was Angel, if they had a matching wallet. He showed us a black wallet that did not have the same Alligator finish as the purse. I asked him if they had a wallet with the same finish pointing to the purse. He said that's the closest we have. I replied, "so the answer is no". I personally didn't think I said anything rude, I just wanted clarification. He then turns to another clerk and says "here you ring them up, he's rude and I don't want to deal with him" and walks away. I have never been treated so unprofessionally in a higher end store in my life. Mind you I own a high-end electronics retailer and if any one of my employees did that, I would've fired them on the spot. I explained this to his manager Heather, who said she would speak with him off the floor and agreed his behavior was unprofessional. It'll probably be a cold day in hell before I purchase anything else from any Coach store as he soured my feelings on the brand and the customer experience I've come to expect at Coach. Update: after posting this, I decided to read and see if this was isolated and if you take a look at the reviews below this one you'll see there is a clear pattern of rude sales people and unprofessional behavior. I know it's hard to find good employees these days, but there has to be better options. Coach, you are losing a lot of customers and you will continue to lose more as long as you don't address the systemic problem in this store. read more

Went in to return a bag I received as a Christmas gift and exchange it for one that worked, with the receipt and after a traumatic family experience that did not allow me to bring the bag back to the store in time (by 4 days of receipt) because a family member had a mental health crisis and we had to leave town immediately to go to a hospital out of state and could not take the bag back. First of all, if it is a Christmas gift, why not till the 31st like every other company in the world. 2nd, are you in the business of unhappy customers that will take their money to another company because of your poor customer service skills as a manager? 3rd another Coach employee mentioned they were appalled to hear that they wouldn't extend a gift card and they as simply "not doing their job and passing the job to another employee". This blonde bob haired woman who calls her self a manager with zero skills for dealing with customers is insane. She would not even speak to me directly, I had to go up to her as she was too busy trying to close the store so she could leave an hour before closing.... First time at this location and was greeted immediately which is always a plus. The store was split in half with the other side being men's. I was there for shoes and was greeted by Mollie who asked what I was looking for. She was very helpful in showing me the options and it didn't take me long to find a pair. Checkout was quick and when I said I didn't need the box, I was given a small cute bag which my shoes fit perfectly. Not in Nashville often but looking forward to coming back. read more

This Coach Outlet Store is located inside of Opry Mills. And like most all other Coach stores, they also are offering an additional percentage off. Usually there will be someone standing at the front handing out the coupons that specifically list the exclusions. If you don't know what the exclusions are, LOOK for them. Don't be like me and assume that it included everything. Even though the specific sign was placed on the fragrance and jewelry counter, once we waited through the Christmas traffic line for at least thirty minutes, I was informed that the sale excluded fragrance. The young lady even smirked and was very condescending about it. I get it, there are usually exclusions, but to have the very sign advertising it ON the same counter as what's excluded and not even indicating what the exclusions are, was and is unacceptable. Had a great experience there with helpful sales associate Johnathan. I don't wear purses much, but my friend ordered me one online and when I received it the coach symbol was upside down so I returned to with ease to the store. I was greeted immediately, but wasn't stalked or followed. Johnathan showed me different styles and spent time with me even as I was indecisive. I tried boots, and pretty much all the purses, he was very knowledgeable about the products and materials. I almost settled but then he reached up and showed me something else and that was it!! I would have never seen it, I feel I love with it! Johnathan even escorted me to the check out line and rang me up because another associate was helping another customer. I felt very cared for. Coach sells very spendy stuff but it's what my wife really likes. It's top quality and it's guaranteed for life. So I stopped by this Coach Outlet in Opry Mills. Interestingly, the shop is split in half with a Coach for Men store off to the side with a separate entrance. So if you're looking to spend big bucks for a murse, here you go. read more

I bought a luggage bag that I was not sure would be big enough so I asked the check out clerk what the return policy was. She said as long as I bring it back within 30 days it was ok to return with a receipt. So I bought it, took it home and tried to pack it. It did not work. I brought it back and one of the managers and the clerk had major attitude when I requested to return the luggage. Waiting for several mins and clearly with attitude they told me the couldn't take it back because one of the wheels looked used. I told them I never used it because it was to small. They basically called me a liar bc there was marks on the wheels which these marks where from taking it out from my house and to the store. Very very minimal at best. I can be ok with them not doing a refund even thoe I felt very mislead. I don't understand the attitude and disrespect from the clerk And manager. I was not rude or disrespectful in anyway.
