We ate lunch today 9/20/2025. The food was very good and the service was also good. This was the first time that we had eaten there since the remodel. Both restrooms were atrocious! Filthy does not even come close to describing. The men's bathroom door was not marked, and the ventilation on the door looked like it had been kicked in. The women's restaurant had a handwritten sign on it. Husband said that there was a hole in the wall that had been covered up by a dish towel. The women's bathroom needed a thorough cleaning. Building is a bit of a oddball but it's one of the few sit down diners in Wetumpka that's not a chain. Food is generally well made, not overpriced, with daily specials and a full bar. Staff has been friendly and attentive on all my visits. Don't expect to get seated immediately during peak hours it is that popular. read more

Coaches Corner still has small town feel despite the HGTV fame. The inside is nice and spacious with plenty of tables. Our server was very good. The kitchen made a mistake and instead of making excuses, she owned the error and made it right in very timely fashion. As for the food, the wings I sampled thanks to the kitchen's mistake were good and crispy but weren't tossed in sauce which I found weird. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich which was very flavorful, but again the chicken breast wasn't tossed in the sauce which would have elevated the sandwich. They have something for everyone!! Several menu items to pick from. My grouper & shrimp were perfectly fried!! Huge portions. I don't normally like cole slaw, but theirs is so good. It's tangy and not sweet. They are usually busy so get there early. We will definitely be back. read more

This is another way to do the same ole' thing! By the name I bet you can guess..... Sports bar! The difference is menu! It's all over the place which means in most cases, certainly this case nothing special all just ok. The bar is small and about like what you might find at a VFW. Margaritas, and all the and drinks ( Jack & Coke, 7&7 etc) beer on tap is minimal and the bar tenders seem like... I'd rather be somewhere else but friendly. Don't ask for a cocktail they have no idea! But why would you .... Not the vibe here! Three stars is generous I'm not impressed but I don't need to be, business is fine. Very nice place. We enjoyed stopping by for a quick lunch. Very clean, and the server was kind. We had the boneless wings, which were good but a little over cooked. We also wish they had been tossed in the sauce instead of the sauce drizzled over the top. read more

Typical Sports Bar, lots of TVs fun atmosphere, hot wings, burgers, sandwiches and salads. They have delicious grouper bites, fried or grilled, a pretty good Reuben and a decent Patty melt. Our favorite side is the seasoned grilled veggies. The crowd has doubled since being featured on HGTV and they are struggling to find people willing to work. So, be prepared to wait a bit longer for a table on the porch. Overall, decent food and fun atmosphere. read more

I've been going to CC's since it opened and seen their highs and lows but tonight was a new low. 45 minutes to get a table with MANY open, 25 minutes to get drinks and to take our food order, and 35 minutes to get food, well some of us. Waitress was really slow and apparently covering multiple large parties... She got a few orders incorrect, missed an entire order and failed to bring requested items multiple times!!! I ordered the "all you can eat shrimp" and had a total of 16... The guest with no food set the entire time watching everyone eat and once everyone was done she was offered a salad! I've had two similar experiences there recently and just thought it was an anomaly due to covid... I could overlook this if the food was out of this world but it's mediocre at best and the prices keep increasing... Apparently this is the new norm and unfortunately I will not be back. read more

I will not be back to Coaches Corner again. I have been here 3 times and have ended up walking out twice because no one even took our drink order. Both times we waited for 20 minutes after being seated before leaving. The second time we had to leave was a Tuesday night at 5:30. We were wayyy ahead of the rush. The only other time I went, I was told that I could not be sat at one of the 4 empty tables because the waitresses were to busy.
