I've been a loyal fan for years now. The fact that Lake Martin Pizza only has a 3 ish star review is a CRIME! I'm making it my mission to educate and preach about the glorious MUST TRY 10/10 highly recommend "The Big Dill" aka the Pickle Pizza with the house ranch! It's not complete without the ranch. This girl also used to think adding ranch to pizza was a crime, but not this time! The service is about the same as anywhere in Alex City. The ambiance on the weekend is a vibe when they have live music! Don't sleep on this family and local favorite. read more

Lake Martin Pizza is a great treasure around the lake. Regardless which side you're on bith locations are great! Will you have to wait, sure during the summer when it's packed out. But we have also learned to plan ahead and call on our way so they can get it started for us. Pizzas are great and garlic knots are too! Highly recommend! read more

Much more than a pizza spot!! I was in town to visit for the weekend and this place came highly recommended so I gave it a try. First off, the staff were helpful in answering any questions I had about the menu. We ordered the large Mac daddy and then went to the bar for drinks. You will have to order food and alcohol separately. They have a small bar area inside, but the outdoor bar and patio area was our favorite. They have games, live music, and plenty of TVs to watch sports. The bar has a pretty good selection of cocktails, beer, even frozen drinks (they are really good). We asked for our pizza crispy and it took about a few extra minutes but it was well worth it (they were also really busy on a Saturday night). The pizza was very good, fresh, and you can tell they use quality ingredients (our pizza was very hot so we gave it a minute to cool down). The slices had almost no flop and not greasy like other places. I was very impressed with this place and will definitely be coming back to try the other types of pizza they have. read more

Went to the Alex City locations and went in to order a two pizzas, after sitting there for :47, I went to ask about the status of our order. We were told it would be another :45 to 1 hour. No one informed us at ordering that it would be a two hour wait. I understand it is a Sunday night but that is ridiculous. Get another oven, stop taking pick up orders but at least tell people at ordering that it is a two hour wait. The pizza is good as we have had it from the Dadeville location, which even in a Sunday night is much faster than this location. Very disappointing read more

The food was okay but we waited for 2 hours for a pizza. Unless you are good with going there at 2 and getting your food by 6 I would say it is not worth it. Music could have been good but was entirely too loud. read more

Lake Martin pizza co. Is an excellent example of how a restaurant should be ran. My family and I came in one evening for dinner after being out on the lake all day. The lady at the counter taking orders was so kind and she warned us food might take an extra 10 min which was no problem because there was a live band who did amazing btw to keep us occupied. My husband and I wanted to check out these beer towers so we went up to the bar and the bartender I believe her name was Josie (don't quote me) was so kind and made sure to get us our beer asap even though she was slammed. Our pizza came out great as well, definitely get the full Monty . 10/10 recommend, atmosphere, service, quality of food. read more

What happened to my favorite pizza place?! I've had better gas station pizza. And we ordered by phone only to wait almost an hour after they texted it would be 15 minutes! It was chaos at the counter. I get they were swamped and would have excused the lack of coordination but the pizza itself was horrible. Crust burned and only a sprinkling of ingredients. Great prices and great selection of pizza and adult beverages. Plenty of open spaces w a stage for live music. More than enough TV with high quality viewing. My husband and I enjoy our Friday nights out and tonight we chose Lake Martin Pizza Company in Alex City. We stopped by once quickly and enjoyed the ambiance so decided to go back. The food is delicious and the kitchen staff was top tier. It was a busy night and they were working their butts off to keep the food coming. There was a young man that deserves a ton of praise for his work ethic and hospitality. Our order number was taken before our food came out and when we told him our number was 23, he remembered and brought us our food as soon as it was done. I can't say enough good things about him and the kitchen staff (including the lady at the pizza register!!!) We however, were extremely disappointed with the bar service. We were seated one seat beside the front of the bar register and were ignored the entire time we sat there even though the couple at the end of the bar had someone check on them more than once. When we finally did get the bartender's attention, she would take our order, punch it into the register and then continue with other customers in line. The people ordering behind us would get there drinks and twice we had to remind her that we too, had ordered. At one point, a gentleman who carried himself like he was the owner or a manager came out and asked if anyone needed anything. I made eye contact with him and raised my hand politely and he saw this and yet went over and helped another lady who was closer. The way he did it was like I wasn't worthy of his effort. On another occasion, he came out and we told him we ordered a drink that we were still waiting on and instead of getting it (as I would assume should happen when a customer is clearly waiting), he went to the bartender to ensure that we did in fact order said drink. Even if we hadn't, is that not something to address after the drink has in fact been brought out? His conversation with the bartender about it took an extra couple minutes while we continued to wait. I know this may all seem a little pretentious but I just couldn't believe how poorly we were treated, especially sitting in the most obvious spot at the bar. We likely won't go back to just be there, probably continue to order the food only. It is such a disappointment that this place with otherwise incredible food and staff gets a black eye because of the bar. I understand it is a bar and bars get busy but with pizza taking about an hour to get to the tables, people will likely be drinking in the meantime, you'd think that if you ran a business, that would be an aspect that is treated with importance. But again, those young men and ladies working on the kitchen side were phenomena!!! Beyond expectation!!! read more
