my 35 year old son, who has numerous disabilities was transfered here through a mental health clinic. when he arrived he called me to tell me they were very welcoming and made many promises to help, including his prescription medication and food, shelter, and clothing as well as helping him apply for food stamps, medicaid, and reinstating his social security payments. i was happy to hear this. it turned out to be a lie. the very next day, i was contacted by a worker from coalition recovery (who claimed they were medical technicians and mental health counselors in charge of my son's case) demanding i give them $97 or they would turn my son out onto the street. when i told them i didn't have that kind of money just laying around, they became enraged and threatened again to throw him out immediately. they told me he arrived without medication so they'd filled his prescription there and said i was responsible for payment. eventually they mentioned they were also inrecovery and were part of the program and not in charge of his case at all, well after i had answered sensitive health and mental health questions and discussed private details i would never had offered had i not believed them when they said they were in charge of his case and licensed professionals. i immediately ended the conversation and told them i would not share his history or private information with them and i would only share that with a licensed professional. the worker snapped "fine someone will call you back about this, then!" and hung up on me. shaken, i called coalition back to discuss this breach of privacy, the threats, and my concerns for my son's safety in their care. i spoke to Dylan Hollander, who identified himself as the clinical director at coalition recovery and he confirmed that they required 497 to allow my son to remain in their care because there was a copay and my son had given them authorization to contact me regarding payment. i again expalined that i do not have the $97 and that my son should not ever be simply discharged without any information, especially since he is disabled and at high-risk both physically and mentally and that the last two times this happened with other places, my son had to be hospitalized for days and given blood transfusions. Mr. Hollander said he would not discharge my son without providing an alternative placement in a secure program so his services and medications would not be disrupted but made it clear he intended to discharge my son as soon as humanly possible. He also informed me that my son was not told he would be discharged as that would upset him. And Mr. Hollander also promised to inform me of his progress in finding a new placement for my son. then the very next morning, my son called me and went on at length about how excited he was with the program, how happy and grateful he was to be in the program and what his therapist Melinda "Mindy" Carson promised for his treatment there. my heart sank. coalition recovery, far from preparing my son for transfer in a professional and non-damaging way, had seen fit to literally LIE to him and promise treatment without intending to EVER deliver those promises. this is extremely damaging and i could not get in touch with any licensed worker there, only other clients who man the office phones. i called every hour for four hours that day. each time, the other clients would answer the phone ask for private details about my son, and then promise i would receive a call back "in a few minutes" from Melinda "Mindy" Carson, Dylan Hollander, or the "executive director in charge of the entire rehab", Harrison Spielman. after the third call with no call back, they stopped answering the phone as they knew my phone number and decided they didn't want to keep the farce up. i called from my phone several times and when they did not respond, i used a different phone number and they answered on the second ring, obviously disappointed when they heard my voice. again they unconvincingly lied and said someone would "call me back in a few minutes". they never did. now i was suspicious and decided to check the internet for information about coalition recovery. i checked the linked-in page and that is how i found the last names of Dylan, Mindy, and Harrison, as the clients manning their phones refused to furnish me with those last names. i find it very strange that the person they claimed was the head of the organization, Harrison Spielman, never seems to have graduated from college and holds not a single degree according to his link-in profile. his facebook showed very unprofessional public posts. This place is a scam. run; do not walk away. they make false promises to potential clients in an effort to drain their money and then turn them out when that money has been depleted. i am not a bit convinced of their credentials because they are anything BUT professional. you would have better luck recovering from addiction elsewhere. read more

I was a patient here and quit 1/2 way through cause of all the issues I had there. I went on my own free will to help with sobriety. Had to pay in full cause they did not accept my insurance. They refused to refund me anything.. Not going to go on and on about this place but would strongly recommend unannounced visits to look at the place before you pay them anything. Honestly, the unfair negative reviews on here seem to be from disgruntled employees and has not been my experience as a client. Many of the staff members are in recovery themselves and understand the difficult and often stressful time that rehab can bring. They are compassionate and they will often stay extra hours, travel long distances, or listen to any and all concerns of the clients. My experience was this: the groups are small and intimate. The therapists spend a lot of one-on-one time with you, unlike many other places. They offer family groups and family therapy sessions at no extra charge, which was an incredible turning point for my family and myself. They offer a strong variety of methods of learning (art, yoga, mindfulness, reading, etc) and each week had a different and unique focus on recovery topics. The sober living house is safe, clean, and comfortable. There is always someone to talk to if you feel like you need some extra strength and hope. They structure the amount of freedoms based on progress so that you are gradually reintroduced into life and can use the coping skills you need to stay clean and sober. Recovery from addiction is difficult. It means doing things differently and Coalition Recovery treats every aspect of addiction. I have been to three other rehabs and was unable to stay sober because they never addressed the real-world problems that I needed to face. If you want to get clean and sober, and you are looking for true, honest, and caring help, Coalition Recovery is the best place to finally put your addiction to rest and learn to live happily again. read more

Incompetent!!, Therapists are terrible. They use recent masters graduates for therapists. Management is not responsive to requests or complaints. It's all about the money. There are too many other good centers out there with a lot of experience. This company is only a little over a year old. I got nothing from them. read more

While in the first two phases of care, they are really good. However, once you reach the third phase where they can't bill your insurance as much, they push you out the door and don't offer any support. I've emailed them 3 times since then and can't even get a response. Just be prepared if you do decide to use them. You will be left without help and support to continue your recovery. I'm really disappointed especially after everything I donated to program while there. It's a really crappy feeling. read more

I was a client at coalition for 3 weeks and I'm being sincere when I say that this place is an absolute joke I watched 7 clients walk out withing the first week of arriving staff are absolutely high Nick talked freely about arguing with his ex meth dealer and not only is that none of the clients business nor should it be said but he was and everyone knew he was getting high speed walking talking absolutely off topic and not being able to stay still I bought it up along with a few other clients and they completely denied taking any action as if addicts can't tell when someone is high ..as well as Lou another staff there who admitted that all he wants is the money as he sniffles and wipes his nose to me because he thought I wouldn't tell on him which is exactly what I did because I was there for treatment and help and regardless of me being dismissed early for trying to stop a 23 yes old kid from the hood from jumping on an older man about a TV in another house .I would definitely have written this place a bad review anyway ..i was not given any warning about being kicked out .I live 5 hours from here and I am stranded outside of Walmart which is where they take you and leave you with all your property, NO ID OR MONEY WILL BE RELEASED TO ME FOR 24 HOURS!!! I can't get a hotel for the night and I can't buy food to eat ...this is honestly DEVISTATING me ...I am stuck here and I don't know what to do they were extremely cold in the way they told me I had to leave along with my medicine that has to be refrigerated and is EXTREMELY expensive for Hemophilia Disorder...I'm so disappointed in myself but more so that a treatment center would put anyone through this with no care for they're well being since this is not a good area and the carnivals are everywhere and full of drugs and homeless people ..they are low staffed and they have no incentive whatsoever for when we do good but instead they are quick to take your fone for 3 days for any little thing I participated in all groups and meetings and those who sleep and run around the churches playing and not taking any part of they're treatment serious were never talked to ..it's a place where you better hope they like you cause that's all that matters there it's not a treatment center remember this if you decide to go and please write a review because this place needs to be shut down there is no pool it is a run down trailer park with so many issues if you just have to laugh about them ..staff will let you do whatever you want if they favor you includeing sneaking into the women's trailer to have sex and the women client going into the staff trailer at 1am and not coming out for almost an hour and when I asked one of the girl who I was having sex with what she did she told me flat out he cashapped her $150 to have sex with her and that hurt me honestly but I just stopped talking to both him and her this staff are not certified to pass meds at night and a female client told me that a staff member came in at night to clock in (which is in the women's trailer) and she was watching a movie and he tried to talk to her for 10 minutes while he kept touching his privates until she got up and went into her room because she got scared ..this place should be investigated and really shut down ..the therapists are amazing in my opinion Josh tried his best and Hannah was always genuine and atira and Ms Ronnie and also Ms G. And Mr Hicks who dropped me off at Walmart felt truly horrible he had to leave me there and do his job which I can understand...Ms T constantly harassed me and then apologized and did it over and over she is the reason I was in so many emails she is the supervisor at the trailer park and had other staff write me up for her and that was from Nick's mouth ..I will never seek any treatment center after this experience they are for the money truly read more

Great program. Dr's, Nurses, Therapist and Staff all work together and provide wonderful care through the whole process of recovery.

I know for a fact that the staff here truly cares about you as a person, they genuinely care and it shows. You get personalized attention unlike other places that just treat you like a number. I wouldn't hesitate to send my sister or best friend here - I know they'd have the best chance at recovery and have people looking out for them all the way. read more
