Lucky for us I saw a Garage Door Rescue truck in the parking lot at Publix. I called the number 251-621-6622 and spoke to the owner (she owns it with her husband Brandon - I cannot remember her name.) She was absolutely fantastic. She asked me questions and insisted I check to make sure there was not an issue I could fix myself, even telling me what to look for and told me to cancel the service call I had scheduled if I was able to get it working. When I scheduled the appointment I was given NOT a 4 hour window, or a 3 hour window, or a 2 hour window. I was given a 1 hour window and Brandon showed up right on time. He told me exactly what he was going to do and what I could expect. He was able to fix the problem and it still be covered by the $100 service call fee. He also did extra service that was still covered by the initial fee. We were so impressed and please with the service we received. They do a great job. I learned he has been doing this for over 10 years (I believe that is what he said), and his father has been in the business for over 35 years.

The door needed some repairs to reduce noise and also needed a new clicker(prior owner did not provide ) bought one on Amazon. Since the Amazon one was fickle and easily "cleared", I also bought one from this company. They programmed all new clickers and cleared the history on my existing garage door. I'm fully happy with the service provided and thght that the price was completely fair. I'm glad to say I found a company that sees a future client and not someone to take advantage of (new home buyer must have $$ )

Fast forward a few days I dialed A+ Garage Door, and John, the wizard of whoosh, picked up like he was camped by my phone. This was the day after July 4th, a sizzlin' Saturday, and John texts, "15 mins out", so I saved him a lemonade!" He swoops in, defying 101° heat that could bake cookies on the hood of my car. My opener was deader than a disco ball at a funeral, but John, slinging his tools like Wyatt Earp would skillfully sling his six shooter, slapped on a sparkly new garage door opener and new clicker so swanky it could star in a rom-com. He also reprogrammed my old clicker so now I have two! All for just under ~$500! He zipped around like a sugar-rushed chimpanzee, left no mess, and now my garage door slides open smoother than a penguin on ice. Back in 2020, my last review, I was just starting to build a relationship with these guys after moving from TN, and they have definitely lived up to that first impression. They are still the same friendly, professional crew I remember. Even though I am just here for a single tire replacement this morning, they're getting me in and out just as fast as they did when I bought that full set of Michelins. The waiting room is still a great perk too. It is clean, cool, and has plenty of space to chill out with the big TV and free WiFi while they work on the car. They really make a stressful morning a lot easier to handle. Bottom line: These guys are honest, fast, and reliable.
