The sandwiches are made to order and the plans are to add more to the menu in the very near future. All pastries and bagels are baked by the owner and there are gluten-free options (scones, muffins), too. Very few (if any) local restaurants have GF items on hand and this is one of them! The vibe here is laid back yet welcoming. They have multiple tables and chairs set up for work or enjoying your purchases. There is a small private room for meetings which can be reserved on a first-come basis by talking to a barista to get on their calendar. I ordered an iced chai latte (perfectly made) and a chicken salad sandwich. The chicken salad didn't have any usual fillers, yet was flavorful, and was enhanced by a beautiful tomato slice and fresh lettuce. Included in the lunchbox were slaw and to my delight - potato salad, which was probably the best I've ever had in a commercial establishment. They should sell it by the pound, it's THAT good. Anchored Cafe has a drive-through for ordering beverages and staff told me they plan to utilize online ordering soon with pickup through that window, too. Follow them on Facebook for updates. Hours are 6am-2pm (or thereabouts) but are usually open later while they are baking goodies for the next day. If you see people there, stop by! They are located in the corner unit at the strip of stores where the Minuteman Gas station is - across from CVS.

Mr. And I both ordered the market bowl. Quinoa, sweet potatoes, avocado, tomato, and a spring mix w a fried egg on top. It was beautiful! Then we bit into it. The sweet potato was barely on the brink of being frozen. The Quinoa was also cold...not just room temperature, but ice-cold! Avocado was way too cold as well. So, you can imagine what this did to the beautifully cooked egg... yep - turned it cold in a heartbeat. Really off-putting to bit into. Mr. went back inside and asked if they had a microwave to heat it up and the 'workers' just said that was they way it was supposed to be. Mr. tossed the entire thing in the trash and simply said "well, it's disgusting". You would think there would be a simple offer to heat it up, or some kind of remedy for the situation. They didn't give a crap. I'm pretty sure they flipped us the bird on the way out. Nice.
