10 Stars here!!! We waited about 20mts however, it was well worth the wait! They have a plethora of flavors + milkshakes + acai bowls. I did a praline and pecan. Hubby - cookie dough Son - cookies and cream milkshake Daughter- sherbet with gummy worms. We all have it a 10 out of 10 and will try our best to return before the leave.

    Strawberry Matcha

Most beautiful matcha i've ever seen made. Taste just as good as it looks. No clumps, very smooth, and service was so kind aswell!

This place has many options available between ice cream, coffee, and various açai bowls. Shout out to the girls who help me decide on want to get this morning. The coffee is an equal balance of coffee flavoring to caramel flavoring. Which I prefer because it is not overpowering at all. The açai was nearly perfect. I have not had one this good in a while. I put the granola on the bottom. Definitely can easily be shared. I will be coming back more soon.

    Turtle sundae - so delicious!
    Andi M.

My husband and I split a sundae from Native Joe's one weekday afternoon while visiting NMB. We opted for the turtle sundae--which comes with 2-3 scoops--and mixed cappuccino crunch and salted caramel. This was an amazing sundae! The chocolate and caramel toppings were generous, and we enjoyed every bite. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. We'll definitely be back!

    Cotton Candy Ice cream!

What an awesome experience. We stopped here after doing a little shopping at the beach shops near the resort. I was craving some ice cream so the moment I saw they had cotton candy I was sold! We got some delicious ice cream and sat outside and enjoyed the warmth. We chatted and had such a wonderful time! Highly recommend this little place!

    Expectation vs reality

I'm quite disappointed with my service today, i know someone thats been here and has raved about the matcha served. I went and ordered a butterfly pea matcha and it came out and looked nothing like its advertised. We asked if it had matcha, and they said it's mixed in with the butterfly pea powder. I sat down to drink it and it had absolutely no matcha in it and tasted like straight milk. I went back in to show the worker the online pictures of what I expected it to be like and mentioned it didn't taste like matcha. She said it's mixed in and that they just make it look like that for photos and that she'd remake it. I know that's not true because my friend comes and gets the same drink and it always looks like the online advertisement. Well... it was remade even worse and tasted like water. What a waste of $15. Below I'll ad a picture of advertised matcha vs what I received.

    Native bowl

My daughter and I stopped here this morning during our morning walk. I ordered an iced coffee and she chose the Native Bowl. It was so big that there was plenty for both of us and then some! So delicious. Highly recommend this place. We will be coming back sometime during our vacation for ice cream!

While the coffee was good we waited an hour because they were so understaffed. And $30 for 3 iced coffees is crazy. Will not return

Off the beaten path and yet a block away from Barefoot Landing. This cute little place has good coffee and great milkshakes.

I have given it many opportunities, but it just keeps leaving me disappointed. 1) The service is usually extreeeemely slow. I once waited 35 minutes for a couple sandwiches and coffees. And the place wasn't even mildly busy. The staff just didn't care to prioritize the food orders. I almost left without my food I was so mad. But I still gave it another try! 2) The food is WAY overpriced for what you get. It's insane to have to spend $40+ on super basic cafe food. The crepes are also flimsy, inauthentic, and melt immediately, so don't bother getting them to go. 3) They don't even open until 9:00 am! Um... do they not know they are a coffee shop?! I've tried to go in the morning (when people drink their coffee), and they're closed. Insane to me. Overall, I think this place has potential, it just needs to step it up. It's in a GREAT location!

06/24/10 OK, so…read moretheir ice cream contains corn syrup, and their espresso bean and creamy coconut flavors are almost sickeningly sweet, but I just had to rate this establishment four stars, bec. a) it's clean; b) the staff here are so friendly; and c) the samples they doled out were generous, especially when compared to nearby Kohr's measly sample sizes, which kept getting smaller and smaller-- the last one was not even half the size of the tip of my pinky, and I tried only three flavors there! (No comment on the lack of enthusiasm of the staff, as well as the heavy-foot syndrome the team at Kohr's exhibited. That review will be up shortly.) The chocolate here is not very sweet, so I had a wafflecone with scoops of espresso bean and chocolate. Ah... heaven! p.s. Besides the fact that most of the flavors I sampled here were too sweet, I have to say that the wafflecone wasn't very fresh- a quality I also noticed when I ordered a wafflecone at a Charlotte location. I'm hoping to try local ice creameries when we return back to Charlotte, but the next time I visit MM, I may try a sugar- or cake cone, instead. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/d3ODg-AWdG02dcZCqV9KnA?select=7NYL0xzVxw_nLMMQJgPuDw

And y'know what: you can't get "overwhelming" selections of spices, teas, and sugars virtually anywhere else, so that's a GOOD thing. Every one offers a glass jar that you can open to "smell" the sugar/tea/spice you're thinking of buying. In the case of the teas, they will make you a hot/iced version of the tea (and charge for it, but it's surprisingly affordable) to try as well. After awhile, all of the scents kinda blend together (especially for like, hickory or smoked scents), but it's super cool and a ridiculous level of selection. They have smaller pouches, larger bags, or containers/jars for most items, letting you buy smaller quantities to try. I wanna say smaller pouches were starting around $6 (September 2025). They had quite a few blends of demarara sugars that are going to be great for cocktail garnishing. (Salted caramel sugar? Burnt espresso sugars? mmmm!) And my meat-loving friends picked up a ton of different stuff. Expect to spend a bit in here. There are SO many things to see. The basics are divided into various walls (teas separate from sugars, etc.), but their display tables of seasonal merch in the middle of the store require some careful perusal too. Staff was friendly, and they definitely know their stuff, but they clearly know people get overwhelmed and left us alone. I did not expect to pop into the store, but honestly, I'm super glad I did.
