Cancelled next appt (still have some infection) bc what I was told would be an $85 visit to tell me my CT results, was $335. I do not have insurance. 1K & a lot of phone calls & miles later, I wasted my time. Go anywhere else. Seems they like to give out unapproved charges here & not follow through with their patients NEEDING HELP. They also do ear cleanings as well but doesn't charge the insurance for it, Wish they did charge the insurance though, would be easier to just get things done here. Paperwork is also prefilled out online, and one can choose the doctor to go to. Anyways, this office is located in a building with a bunch of other offices, but was easy to find directions and how to get there. Once arrived at the office, receptionist was friendly, and checked us in. Didn't wait that long until the doctor called us in. We went to Victoria Price. Victoria was very pleasant and friendly, and also helped explain things, such as the results of the hearing test. This hearing test was more of what I was used to, which is a bone conductor and two thin tubes in the inner ear. This word recognition test I did a lot better on, and it is a recorded voice. Thank goodness for second opinions. Victoria was also respectful regarding my wishes. Overall everyone was friendly, and made an appointment in September for my next hearing aid cleaning. I have a hearing service dog and they who are supposedly in the hearing aid industry, said that I couldn't bring my dog in there! Supposedly somebody was allergic. This is against the ADA laws. They sold me hearing aids that were wrong for me because they didn't have anything to suit my needs. I didn't know that at the time. They were paid for partly by my insurance and mostly by me. They even wanted to charge $10.00 for each little plastic tube. When I told my current audiologist that, he couldn't believe it! They don't charge for tubes anywhere else. I've been wearing hearing aids from more than 35 years. The care quality of this place is zero. I meant to write a review along time ago but "Terry" said that she was retiring when I last saw her.

I have been to several Audiologists in Raleigh. Could never find the right one, I was lucky to find Joe. Finally, I think these hearing aids are going to work. I have a substantial amount of hearing loss, and it has been so hard to deal with...with each audiologist , results were not even 'just okay". Still struggling to hear what people were sayin, was horrible during Covid with the masks! Joe take time with you and he just keeps on and on until he thinks that he has it right... and it has been nice because you know that he really cares. "How does this sound, Nancy? or how bout this?" ..,.he keeps on and on testing, very patiently, until it is right. He knows what he is doing and you can sense it from the beginning. I spent a lot of money on hearing aids, was close to giving up. he has been doing this for a long time..and that experience tells the story! He is definitely seasoned in his work. This has been a great experience and I would recommend him, he knows what he is doing, finally!
