I have seen this place for years each time as we drive onto the island. And today I made it a point to finally stop. The staff never acknowledged me, never helped me. I am writing a follow up review in this business. I previously boasted about working with them throughout my sales process. (New house of furniture) I assume they want your business but they massively fail at follow up. For more than six months I have been trying to get this business to help with a damaged item, they say they will have their service gal (now no longer employed there) and most recently a new guy (that has taken over their warranty and or service. It has been so long with zero help I assume when I finally show up in person YET again they will say out of warranty! I wish I had bought my house of furniture somewhere else that doesn't sale sale sale and no f/u after the sale! Poor business practice read more

Hubby and I have shopped this store for a year now. The first time a year ago it was to see what they had as we were in the process of building a new home in the area. In that first visit what really stood out was the pictures. They are a step above any one else's in the area. I fell in love with a particular one with oyster shells. The colors were amazing. Sadly I didn't buy it right than and there as I never saw another one like it on all my visits that followed. Now a month ago already in the new house we were shopping here and saw a dining room table we liked. Unfortunately the chairs that were displayed with it didn't really go. So we proceeded to look all over the store for possible choices. The two salespersons working there did little to nothing to assist us. In fact on that particular day there was not one other customer in the store. Needless to say we ended up leaving and eventually buying the perfect dining room set for us elsewhere. So why go back? Because we like their pictures and we aren't going to let two individuals stop us from shopping. On our return it was Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and they were having a 20% off sale on the pictures. We luckily spotted an octopus picture that would be perfect in our family room with an octopus bowl as well. Also in metal in a seafoam green color we got a school a fish. Lastly a sea turtle just love it don't know exactly where it will be hung yet a definite keeper. Guess what happened a whole store full of sales associates that actually helped us take the items down from where they were hanging, brought them to the register for us and even assisted us in getting them Into our car. Moral of this review if you see something you like in a store don't let someone else's poor attitude and performance not allow you to get what you want. read more

While the selection is beautiful the sales staff seemed snooty and were unhelpful. We were approached almost immediately which is great. We asked about pricing for the rocking chairs outside snd got a snippy response of "well which ones. What side". She had to go check and never came back to us. She proceeded to help other people. Finally after wandering around trying to get dimensions of chairs and no one to ask we started to leave only to be approached by a different sales woman. She too asked what she could help with. Ran off to find dimensions and then began working the check out. We left. No thanks. read more

When I moved here a year ago, I was delighted to find Coastal Home! My best friend who is also an interior designer came to visit shorty after I moved and she and I went to furnish my house. I spent several thousand dollars and loved everything. About a month ago we were awakened to a noise in our guest bathroom. A picture that I had purchased came crashing down and broke - glass was all over and the frame totally fell apart. I took it back to see if Coastal Home could fix it. I waited a month and finally called. They had lost my number but told me that they had no record of my purchase and refused to fix it. I'm very disappointed because I love the merchandise they carry, but with this type of service I can no longer support this store. The picture was $300 or $400. It was not the price by any means. I bought a LOT of decor! What happened to making the customer happy????? read more

However, Coastal Home had such a great selection of furniture and accessories, very knowledgeable and helpful staff and good prices that I want to say, try Coastal Home out. We have furnished our new home with Coastal Home and they have been fabulous. Our salesperson is Karen and she is da bomb! We've done 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen table and chairs and an outdoor table and chairs. Karen worked with our designer to find the right pieces at the right price and we couldn't be happier with Coastal's service, start to finish. I highly recommend the shop, they have quite a bit of in stock pieces so the extended lead times within the furniture industry right now might not be an issue if you find the right piece. read more

We went into Coastal Home intending to purchase living room furniture. Unfortunately, the 4 sales people did not acknowledge our presence while we looked around the entire store. We were especially perturbed because one sales person followed us partly around the store without even a hello. No other customers were in the store. Only after I said something did we get acknowledged. It is their loss... We made our purchases at another local store. read more

It started with a small piece...then as we got to know the store and more importantly Savannah (aka designer, helper, all around great gal)...the possibilities the store provided were boundless. We now have multiple pieces in several rooms of our home. Deliveries were always on time... Thomas and Steven excellent in their care, set up, and placement of our purchases...okay good sense of humor and hard working too!
