I have an outdoor wedding in about a month and a half. I was super overwhelmed the first time I went to try on dresses at another location in Wilmington. When I went into Coastal Knot I told them a ballpark of what I did and didn't like and they picked 7 dresses that were absoluely perfect. I honestly believe the employee who helped me knew my style better than I knew my style. It was a fun experience, the woman who helped us was 100% professional and she made me and two of my girlfriend's feel right at home. She was born for this profession!!! When I first arrived to Coastal Knot, I had probably tried on 30+ dresses or at least it felt like it. I tried other places in town and also in my hometown and online, but I just couldn't find the right look. I was really starting to worry that I'd never find the right dress in time! I told the staff what I was looking for and what I didn't want also, and they immediately found at least five great options - like collectively those five looked way better than say the top five at all other stores combined. I ended up going with one of the first dresses that was suggested! They just really paid attention to what I wanted and I found that throughout the wedding planning process that the best vendors are this way! ;) They were super easy to work with and I didn't have to worry at all as I waited for my dress or when I had the in house alterations. The dress was perfectly altered to fit me, and I was even able to hide my comfy blue sneakers. They also have a great selection of earrings and I ended up trying like 20 looks and picked the perfect pair there. They also have a cleaning service so I'm using that to clean up from my rainy, muddy day. Stop trying on dresses at other shops and looking online. This is your dress shop!! read more

The lady that helped us, Leslie, was a gem to work with, she helped me try on the dresses,find dresses that were what I was looking for, and I didn't feel pressured into anything! This was the worst experience I have ever had. Unless you are a size 2 don't bother going here. They squeezed my daughter into dresses that were several sizes to small, she and no idea what she had in the store. We called to make sure that they would be able to accommodate my daughter, and was assured that everything would be fine. We left feeling battered and bruised. The sales person, and let's be honest they are sales people, actually thought we would buy a dress from her. Not ONE dress fit my daughter. And not ONE dress was the style my daughter was looking for. We did not want the fit and flare look. That was pretty much all she had. We ended up at a different boutique and found a gorgeous dress for substantially less than what they were going charge. And had a MUCH better experience at the other boutique. read more

From the minute my daughter and I walked into Coastal Knot Bridal we were impressed. Our consultant, Nicole, was absolutely amazing. She took her time to listen to what we liked and didn't like and worked with us like a pro. She helped my daughter get into every dress. (I point that out, because other shops did not do that). Wedding gowns are heavy, bulky and hard to get on yourself. As we said no to a dress, another consultant instantly took the dress and hung it up. They worked together so well and it was very impressive. We were there for two hours and never once felt like we were taking too long. I love this Bridal Boutique!!! I went dress shopping recently to find my dress. This was my 3rd appointment of the day. I wasn't feeling the shopping anymore as it had been a long day and I had become VERY DISCOURAGED, and convinced myself I wasn't going home with a dress that day. We ran ahead of schedule for the day and arrived 45 minutes early to my appointment. She had another bride there for her appointment and asked that we hold from pulling dresses off the racks, but we were more than welcome to look around. Which was absolutely 100% fine. I would want the same if it were me trying to find my special day dress. While browsing I noticed these gorgeous dresses were far out of my price range, but we stayed anyway. When my appointment began, I was upfront with my budget and asked if she had anything within that price range. She said absolutely since they were having a sale. I told her to pull anything she had. I tried on maybe 8-10 dresses and didn't like any of them. The VERY LAST DRESS I tried on, was THEE DRESS!!! This was the only dress I cried while wearing all day long. I fell in love with it before asking the price of this one. To my surprise, it was on sale, and a floor sample gown that they needed to get rid of and prepare for new floor sample arrivals. She told me it was $399 before tax!!!!! That was WELL UNDER my max budget!!! Needless to say I was ecstatic!! I walked out with a dress I loved, well under my max budget, and from this adorable bridal boutique. I couldn't have asked for anything better. It was just meant to be that i didn't find anything all day until the very last dress. The lady I worked with was names Leslie. She was wonderful. She gave recommendations on where to get the dress cleaned and where to go for alterations. read more
