Very disappointed with Amanda's Collection. We had a scheduled 2 hour appointment. When we arrived we were given an associate that was new I assume, she wasn't very knowledgeable about the gowns (colors, designers or changes that could be made to gowns). We were not offered any type of refreshment, no water etc. But the worst, most demeaning and insulting thing that happened and ruined the bride to be day was the associate made a comment to her after only trying on 1 dress, she said "I just love working with plus size brides". She is only in a size 10 and plans to go down some before wedding. I WILL NEVER step foot back in Amanda's Collection. Worst experience ever! read more

Sadly not where I would recommend purchasing a gown. My new daughter n love (to be) of course had an appt and thankfully also had myself, her mom and a bridesmaid as we helped her way more than any associates. The bridesmaid that was with us actually purchased her gown months previously here and she was shocked at the lack of customer service and or lack of general interest they showed us. For the price one pays for a wedding gown, simply making this event special should be a priority for all shops! Sadly I just can't recommend this shop now. read more

Had a wonderful experience at Amanda's Collection! My mom made an appointment and upon arrival, we were paired with Gentry. My mom, my MIL and my step-MIL came with me to find my perfect dress. Gentry listened to what I wanted and the dresses were all reasonably priced. I ended up with a Casablanca dress (#2250 Holly) and I purchased shoes at the store so they did a custom length. When my dress came in, I barely had to do any alterations - if I had ordered standard length, I would've paid $$ due to all of the beading/detail on the dress. My wife special ordered a dress from Amanda's collection for my daughters wedding. The wedding is in June so the special order dress had to be ordered ahead of time. The dress took 12 weeks but it was going to be worth the wait. Today she wenttoConway to pick up the dress and get it hemmed only to find out they ordered the wrong dress, they said sorry you can pick one off the shelf or go to Ross they sell dresses. The lady said this happens all the time. If you are planning a special event and need a nice dress I would stay away from this place and the attitude was too bad!
