The location was a bit smaller than what I have experienced in the past. Sitting down at a community table to discuss my therapy & to have my bandage opened & changed among everyone else there was something I had never experienced before. Private health information & wounds were always cared for privately. Of course, the therapy itself was in a large open room similar to the one at Hale Hand Clinic... Karen was very kind and knowledgeable. I was pleased with my therapy & my progress thus far... Can't wait to see her Friday to show her what I can do now!! MARCH 2025 Review: PAPERWORK... Should be offered to be filled out BEFORE arriving. The first time I went in February, I had left-hand surgery & could still use my right hand to fill out the paperwork... However, less than a month later I had right-hand surgery and could NOT use my right hand to fill out paperwork. Thank goodness there was someone kind enough to fill out the paperwork for me, but if given the ability to fill out the paperwork online before the appointment - it would've been MUCH easier & more comprehensible! JUNE 2025 Review: I'm done! Both hands are feeling great! I needed some Iontophoresis therapy & that utilizes electrical currents to deliver corticosteroid through the skin, to reduce inflammation and pain in my hands. Karen would massage both hands (palms), wipe off the lotion with alcohol, inject the Dexamethasone onto a pad (with a built in battery) that was connected to the Iontophoresis machine (using electrical stimulation (electrodes). Ions in the substance use the charge of the electrical current to deliver the medication by repelling each other like magnets.), stick it to my hands, & then put the 2nd electrode pad will be filled with saline & placed on my arm to help conduct that electrical connection, so to speak... THERAPIST: Karen is Awesome! Sometimes there are double bookings of clients, but don't worry! For instance, when I was on the Iontophoresis machine, there wasn't anything she could do for me, so she was with someone else, but was always Very Close by to help if needed & pay attention... This place is Great!

The owner was hostile to me when I refused an appointment when 6 people were in there already...all men. He charged me for the visit as a no show. I went to the desk after the owner was so rude to me. I cancelled all future appointments but they charged me anyway... hounding me for payments. I spoke the IHB office several times before they removed some of the FRAUDULENT CHARGES. I "had no proof the appointments were cancelled". Get printouts for everything if you go there. Do not trust them, they are greedy. The actual PT is good but in an overcrowded room it is not optimal. The therapist is spread thin so the actual hands on time is much less..since the therapist has to juggle 3 clients at one time. This place is a hard NO.

The plethora of excuses range from "I'm in the keys' to a few days later "I'm in the Mayo clinic." Nobody would drive from one to the other. I had a major cardiac event and was out in five days, not two weeks. My checks have bounced twice and I have gotten no results from the owner [Joann] or her assistant [Coral]. They will rip you off and disappear, just as they screw their employees. If you signed up for service and anyone showed up to work ... that would be a surprise.
