He asked for input about where we wanted to go on the ride but also offered great suggestions. It was a nice balance. The day of the ride was SO much fun. There were six of us and plenty of room on the boat to spread out. One of us has a bit of anxiety about boats and James was very reassuring. The island James took us to was peaceful and beautiful and it was amazing getting to float in the still water nearby. He even collected some shells for my toddler to bring home! James is not a Wilmington native but has been here for a while and has clearly worked hard on knowing the area well. The two hours flew by - we had such a great time. Before we got back I was thinking about when we could rationalize doing it again. Highly, highly recommend booking with Salty Feet. We then took an awesome ride around the intractable. We had 5 passengers. The pontoon was clean and the ride was exceptional. We even saw dolphins which was a primary objective for this tour. On the sunset cruise, it can get a little hot sometimes, but once you make it to the ocean breeze, it is perfect. I was able to sit up at the bow and I definitely recommend it. You are able to see straight where you're going and have the best view. If you are near Wilmington at all and want to go out on a boat on the water, I would definitely recommend this. We went out for 2 hours and made it back right as the sun was setting.

There were 6 of us aged 22 to 80+ and we could not have been more pleased with our time on the boat with Captain Ashley. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, the dolphins were kind enough to jump around in the ocean while we watched, birds swooped here and there, and we stopped on an island for a little beach/sand time before heading back to the marina. Pictured here is my mom who has probably never been on a boat smaller than a cruise liner who had the time of her life. Hopefully we'll get her back out when cozy beanies aren't required and she can frolic on an island and swim in the ocean with her grandkids and great grandkids. Thank you, Drifter. We'll be back!

He grew up on the water down at wrightsville so he was more than qualified to show us around all of his personal favorite spots--they were definitely hidden gems I doubt we would have gotten to see with any other company! We saw not only dolphins, but also pelicans, sea hawks, osprey, herons and even got to see the famous giraffe! I will definitely be booking again very soon, might even try out the jet skis! The crew is absolutely the best ever. Donnie is a riot and made sure everybody had a great time. There were only eight of us on this tour, two were young boys and they each got a turn driving the boat. I know that had to make their day. By far the best tour ever Donnie's humor, and all the sea lions I got to see made it priceless.

Our friends had never been on one so had no idea what to expect. This was by far, the best sunset cruise I have ever been on. The decor, the vibe, the crew...it was all fantastic. There was definitely a PARTY ride...lots of drinking and music. Loud and fun. Nobody got out of hand but every one was having a wonderful time. And since I was wondering beforehand, I will mention that yes, there ARE bathrooms on board. The captain and crew totally made the trip...tip is not included in your price and even if you go thinking that you won't tip at the end, bring money just in case. I believe you'll find that they make it that much more enjoyable. Ps. We scheduled another cruise this year but it was canceled due to weather. They let us know around noon the day of sailing (so 6 hours prior-plenty of time)...and our money was refunded within 10 days. We will try again next year
