That resulted in water above the vent to run into the attic. *They did a tear off and much of the debris fell into flower beds and killed several plants. *For weeks after completion nails were found in the lawn, resulting in three flat tires for my lawn maintenance man's tractor. *Martineau refused to go on the roof until after final inspection. There were problems I wanted to show him. *I talked to the inspector and showed him my concerns. This resulted in a one month delay, as the roof failed inspection three different times. *The material used as tucking did not match the tile. Each batch they made was a different color. The whole look of the roof ended up looking like a patchwork. *I did not approve of the owners language. *He refused to compensate my lawn maintenance man for tire replacement. * I would never wish to use DR Martineau for any type of work.

I wanted shutters I could easily open and close by myself. Two months after installation hurricane Milton arrived. A couple of the Bahama shutter locking device did not line up with the bolt. Therefore, not all were bolted down with all the bolts they installed. 1 1/2 hours into the storm one accordion shutter opened. Luckily Milton winds for Cape Coral were half of what hurricane IANs were and lasted less than half the time of IAN. The next day I could not get two of my (5) new electric roll down shutters hand cranked up. I called Wild West a couple of days after the storm. The installation guys came out within a couple days to adjust. I asked them to tell the owner/manager that the lock pin on my accordion shutter's measures 3/8" and the whole they fit in is 1/2". I looked online and longer lock pins are available. I said to tell them I want longer lock pins for my 5 accordion shutters otherwise I will not feel safe during the next hurricane. A few days later I called their office number and ask what was the status of locks with longer pins for my accordion shutter? The lady said she will past my message on to the office. Today the installers showed up to tell me the owner said they could not get or have locks with longer pins. So the owner who states on their website that they personally go to all installations never came to my house. They also sent the installer to tell me instead of calling me himself. Very poor customer service!

I now have @ $100K in damages they have left me with. I hired an engineer Nov 2025, presented Norman Dopfer Jr, the owner with that report. Instead of him correcting the issues and taking responsibility, he hired an Atty! To this date Aug 7, 2026 he has refused to sign a damage contract, hire his own engineer to look at the damages his crews caused or make any attempt to fix the leaks in my roof. I have only had underlayment on my roof since Aug 19, 2025 ... technically since Jan 29, 2025 when the tear off began. My roof has been leaking nonstop since they started my job. At one point I was told by the owner "We normally never do entire tear off and rebuilds, we only do repair work" ... THAT is obvious!! They should have NEVER taken on my job! It sits with Attys and due to his negligence my house continues to deteriorate.

RUN AWAY FAST......... These are NOT Professionals…read more I hired these guys to do my pool deck (strip, level, seal). They were nice guys, but their work was poor at most. I expected a crew of two pros to show up with the right tools and make it happen. Instead, Alex showed up with one other person, and basically showed him how to do the process on the spot. Then Alex took off, because he claimed his time was too valuable. While the worker-bee worked hard, he did a poor job of removing the original sealer, and took NO precautions to avoid getting product in my pool... They made a huge mess everywhere...!! I at the end of the day, when I saw the old sealer was still there and said i wasn't happy, Alex said the process would only be about 80% .. meaning this is the best we can do. I didn't accept this, so they made plans to return to do it again... after the second try, it wasn't much better.. So I sent paid them for the stripping job and sent them away.. I have since brought in a new Company who looked at it, and felt the say was as i did about... The new company had a 100% better policy and a 3 year guarantee. They came in and used the proper tools and process as professionals and made my patio look Brand New... which Eddie & Alex said they couldn't do... I'm not sure how Eddie and Alex are getting good reviews because they don't care about quality and getting the job right even though their prices are inline with pros that get it right... We were in the market for pavers on our driveway and walkway…read more We chose Bastos to do the job. We had the sales guy come out for the estimate for our project, who was very helpful. To start our process we actually went to their office in fort myers where we were greeted upon entering By the two office girls who were very helpful in helping us choose the pavers which they actually have all the samples laid out on the floor, We signed the contract and Bastos ordered the pavers we chose. Six weeks later they started our job. Day one the demo folks came to remove the concrete driveway and walkway, these two workers were very professional and had the job completed in three hours. Day two four installers show up at 8 am and started the leveling process which is really an important task. This process took about three hours . Next, They started laying the pavers in the driveway which took the rest of the day, when they left they had probably 80% of the job completed and came back the next morning to finish. So after 3 days the job was completed. We are very happy with the outcome and they left the job site cleaner than when they arrived.
