These brands use more synthetic fabrics than the more expensive ones their devotees also like. Even so, they're worlds cuter and classier than H&M or Forever 21. Until recently, this classy-midrange space had nothing in it whatsoever, and I'm so glad that these new companies have stepped up to the plate. Maritime Passage curates these brands beautifully -- it's the kind of shop where you want to try and buy everything. The sales staff pamper you but aren't overbearing.
