We took her everywhere we went !

Dr. Fritz has been caring for my dog for many years and has been always there for my dog with the best care available. when my dog passed he showed much compassion. He did all he could to save her . My dogs name was Mickey and never had any fear when going there . His staff always were fantastic!

I here good things about Fritz I have been wanting to take my labs here years ago and was told several times by the secretary he wasn't taking new patients . I called today my dogs now 9 and 2 ( we lost our other lab to cancer ) I am in need of a great vet these are My babies ) and he only wants new pups and kittens. I am so sad to hear he doesn't want my pups as patients. Very sad.... I need a good vet asap please.

Super pet care, the whole staff is so down to earth and all have superior knowledge, price? VERY REASONABLE! Highly recommend Coastal Veterinary. It's not common for a Rottweiler to live to be 13 years old. 8-10 is the average, I've got one 9.5... but she's slowing down. Who knows she might shock us the way the other one did. Dr. Fritz has been my vet since 2007. He's only sent me to a specialist once - what Dr. Fritz suspected on that good ole 13year 4 month old dog was correct. He is straight up and tells it like it is, there's no sugar coating. And us pet parents want the truth. Here you'll find truth for your pets care. I am so glad I found a veterinarian that has all qualities you'd expect but they go over and beyond the call of duty. Thank you all to all of the staff at Coastal Veterinary, Toms River, NJ. God Bless +

    Waiting patiently for Dr. Fritz

His records were transferred over from previous veterinary. Benji was thoroughly examined and X-rays taken. Medication prescribed and filled on site. Waiting area and examination room extremely clean. Staff was AMAZING!!! Attentive and caring! Great big thank you to Dr Iaquinto, Colleen Brie and Sharon ‼ Highly recommend!!!

Have to start with MISDIAGNOSE on ears. That was not the problem I went in for but did ask them to…read moreplease check her ears. Told everything was fine. I am starting my story backwards - took her to another vet and both ears have an infection. They cleaned them out and gave me medicine for her... now I will jump back. I only went here because my friend and exterminator goes here. I should have read all the 1 star reviews first. We saw the vet yesterday with my rescue 7yr from TX that I had for almost 6 months because of watery diarrhea. We were going to take her in Friday because she is biting her mother 13yr who I had almost a year. They were kept in cages there whole life to breed, not even allowed to play with each other and food just thrown in. I was giving a list of trainers and told behavioral issues that there was no reason for calming medication. Was given medication for the diarrhea and i gave them a sample to test. Dog was allergic to the strong med and kept spitting up. She was so sick had to go back today to get probiotics that was suggested. The medication is NOT FDA approved for use in dogs !!.... I was asked to bring her records from TX so since I was going there I brought them with asking if they can copy and give originals back to me. The front desk receptionist (dirty blond hair to shoulder, older than other girls there) looked *insanely bothered* and clearly did not want to help. She said *only the latest records. I told her I was told to bring what I have as she came from TX .. receptionist said who it Ginger. I said her names were Ginger then Lola and now Shayla .... well she mumbles under her breath *no wonder she is confused* . How dare she !!!!The dog was never called a name at the breeders, the 82 yr old that was fostering her said she did not know her name which she would not answer to, but she does respond to the name I gave her. She asked why the papers were not in order. I responded with *that is how I got them from the rescue!8 She said I had put the papers in order by date as it was too much work for her to do or I could leave them there till they were ready or take them home and bring them back Why would I leave my dog's records there taking the chance they would not get lost? I took them home NOT to bring them back as I will not be going here again. Over $300 to be told she has behavioral issues and to hire a trainer. 2 medications and a B of a receptionist! TO TOP IT OFF THE MEDICATION IS NOT FDA approved for use in DOGS !! Oh forgot to add this --- her tag showed as a dead dog but I had corrected it ... was not even for a Maltese -- what did the receptionist focus on ... it says DEAD DOG ... I said *I took care of it * so almost in a fight with her about my dog's tag instead of the doctor getting her notes which might tell why she has diarrhea so bad! Well had to take her to another vet since 2 of my other dogs now had diarrhea and she was getting worst. She was not only dehydrated but lost 1 pound in 1 week. She got hydrated and change of medicine. She is now eating again and barking.

We had to shop around, and fast, because out cat was in bad shape, and fwe found East Coast Spay and Neuter. When all was said and done, we couldn't have asked for a better place to have the procedure done. The cost was incredibly low for such a delicate and potential dangerous surgery, Dr. Cummings was truly amazing all around, he did such an incredible job with the incision, which was a great help in avoiding infection for our cat, since all she wanted to do was hide in some uncomfortable places in our house after she returned home. I feel that we wouldn't have had a chance of her surviving if we had taken her anywhere else. Lisa Crooks, the head technician there was incredibly helpful throughout the procedure, and even called after the surgery to let us know that our cat had made it through the difficult surgery. They might operate out of a small space, but it's clean, there are friendly cats in the lobby, and everyone there was not only nice, but very understanding. I highly recommend East Coast Spay and Neuter for your cats and dogs!

Most said they couldn't help, or recommended that we get animal control to come destroy the animal. We finally found VCA Ocean County Animal Hospital. They were ready and willing to help. When we arrived with the injured animal, I could tell he would be in the hands of caring and compassionate people. The injured animal to whom no one gave a chance, now had the very best medical professionals trying to save his life. Revisited the practice in Lakewood yesterday, Minnie was seen Dr. Weinberger. Rectal exam performed per my request due to my belief Dr. Dejohn may have been too aggressive on 6/29 with Minnie's anal glands. Dr. Weinberger clinical diagnosis was a UTI. Immediately upon arriving home yesterday after the appointment Minnie began having diarrhea, vomiting, and appeared to have blood in her urine. An antibiotic was offered at the appointment but at second thought I declined the antibiotic since no evaluation of her urine to support this diagnosis. My home is inundated with diarrhea, urine and couple of areas with weird looking vomit. I was told during the visit that Dr. Dejohn said Minnie had an abscess however this is untrue as no communication, verbal or in writing, exists discussing an anal gland abscess on 6/29/26. I just called Fischer Blvd location and was told to go to an emergency veterinarian. In all honesty, I believe the right thing to do would be for me to bring Minnie in this morning to Fischer Blvd. Yes- I was upset yesterday, but not to the point that would justify Dr. Weinberger refusing to further examine Minnie, harshly exiting the exam, threatening the police on us, and being thrown out of the office. I now have to figure out how to make this right for the sake of Minnie's health. I fear Minnie's short lived life of only six is upon us. Minnie is a rescue, unfortunately I cannot attest to her exact age.
