Throughout the years my fur babies have been seeing Dr .Force. From Great Danes to Chihuahuas I could not of asked for a more caring Vet. I appreciate how upfront and honest he is. I can truely said he is one of a kind and I am so happy that he cares for my babies. Thank you for your dedication. It does not go unnoticed.

I cant say enough about Dr Force and his staff they are just great and compassionate people who make you feel confidant in the way they treat my dogs 5 stars thank you everyone at Forked River Animal Hospital

I started bringing my cane corso puppy to Dr. Force the week after we got him home at 8 weeks. He is always good with him even though my Prince is an A hole. We adopted 2 senior cane corso mix girls from popcorn park zoo 8 months after getting our puppy. We figured since the senior girls would be seeing the popcorn park animal clinic then we would ask to see Prince as well so we wouldn't have to see 2 vets. They told us no, that they had no room for new patients. That turned out to be the best turn down ever! After the girls were still patients with the popcorn park and EVERYTIME we needed to see the vet for a sick visit they NEVER had an openings for at least a week. Also, it was annoying that multiple times in over 2 years when we needing them, they were on vacation?!?! What type of practice is that, 2 dr being out at once?! Anyway, we needed help for our senior Savannah, she started limping really bad on her back leg, of course popcorn park was not available. I called Forked River Animal Hospital and they seen her that day! He examined her and knew what was wrong. She tore her acl. He didn't do unnecessary xrays and he was very straight to the point about it. No bs. He let me know that surgery wasn't the right way to go. He gave her meds and sent us on our way. Sooo, he saved us from crazy bills for xray and surgery. She was doing very well with just meds! Then again, a couple months later something else happened, can't remember what it was, and needed a vet. Wellll what do you know, popcorn park had no availability for 9 days.... NINE DAYS?!?!? So, again we went to Dr. Force. I know he took an xray that was needed, again don't remember for what, turned out it was something that wasn't serious and no extra unnecessary tests. Same for my other senior girl Sahara. Not sure what it was for but didn't need anything serious. This summer I took my Savannah to popcorn park to check a lump i felt. They seen her a week later. I waited for them because i didn't think it was serious. They felt a pea size lump on her breast. They did bloodwork that day telling me they wanted to do surgery. They said they won't do xrays until the day of surgery because they didn't want to sedate her twice. I thought that was ridiculous. Of course I wanted a 2nd opinion so called Dr. Force. They took me 2 days later. They examined her, felt the pea size lump and told us surgery wouldn't be a good option. She was 10 almost 11 and surgery would be more dangerous then having a pea size lump removed. I must add the surgery would have cost $1100. Even if they found out it was cancer there was nothing they could do. That came from their mouths. From that day on Dr. FORCE is the only vet i trust , so i take all 3 to him now. We found out 2 months ago that my Savannah had a small mass above her anus under her tail. He told us to treated it by keeping clean. It wasn't bothering her so surgery again would be ridiculous. So, in all of this I've written Dr. Force gave me 6 extra months with my girl. Unfortunately, Saturday February 1st 2020 was the last day i had her in my arms. Last minute, I called the office and in 3 hours we were in the office saying goodbye to my girl. It was her time, she was ready to cross the rainbow bridge. He let me take as long as i needed to say goodbye even though it was closing time. Him and his staff are the most loving, caring vet/dr medical team i have EVER seen in all my life!

I can not say enough positive things about this animal hospital and I have been to many!! Dr. Force and his staff are honest, kind, caring and patient not only with your animals but their owners as well :) I am a bit cynical and all of my questions are always answered thoroughly and with patience about any concerns I may have ., furthermore any time I have called I am accommodated that same day with no problem. I trust everyone one here completely with my animals as they truly look out for the best interest of my fur babies and not just $, like oh so many do unfortunately . I highly recommend Dr. Force if you would like an a+++ veterinarian .

Hamish is our beloved almost 16 year old dog who had been increasingly in pain and panting, showing signs of dementia, and losing the ability to get up off the floor without assistance. Making the decision to put him to sleep was so very difficult. We were so relieved to find a vet who could provide a relaxing outdoor setting without the stress of a traditional veterinary hospital. Tender Comforts In home Pet Euthanasia is set on a farm in the country, so, on a plush blanket laid on grass and clover, underneath an oak tree, with a picnic table and benches available, beloved Hamish was able to gently leave behind his pain and anxiety with the help of Dr. Craig Little and Nurse Cindy. They explained everything that was going to take place and chatted with us which helped us relax. And of course they handled Hamish gently and compassionately. I was able to sit on the grass right next to Hamish and pet him constantly throughout the procedure. They explained some things along the way which was helpful. I remember Dr. Little reaching across Hamish with his stethscope to listen to his heartbeat, and gently indicating to me that he was gone. We were not rushed away; I was able to continue petting and talking to Hamish as long as I wanted to. My husband and I, as well as Hamish, were treated with great respect. Before we left, there were hugs all around. I noticed that when we left, Cindy got on the ground with Hamish and continued to pet and care for him. So for Hamish, it was a day that began with a breakfast of brownies, ham and cereal, which was followed by a nice ride in the car to Readington, where he got out onto a grassy field with a cozy blanket waiting for him to rest upon, and friendly people waiting to help him. Yes we are sad, and yes, we miss him, but the quality of care we received from Tender Comforts In home Pet Euthanasia definitely has helped us get through it. I should also mention that Dr. Little's wife Susie was our first contact with Tender Comforts In home Pet Euthanasia. She set up our appointment, and facilitated changing the times when we requested it. She was very compassionate! I also need to mention that we were given a sympathy card with wild flower seeds and a pamphlet on coping on the loss of a companion animal. I would not hesitate to use this service again, and highly recommend them to anyone who needs it for their pet. This is a tremendous resource!

Because Rio is an older dog and not always a great eater, Dr. Craig kept Rio in his lap and hand fed him. Susie and Dr. Craig go way beyond mere daycare and understand each dog as an individual. They cater to doggy preferences (and they love and board cats, too). If you're lucky enough to get a space at Tender Comforts, you'll find an amazing place for your dog to spend time while you're away.
