From mystery fees, to terrible automated customer service calls when I have an issue, I always hate using Bank of America beyond the ATM. I frequent the Cranston location as the staff here are always wonderful. Megan, the branch manager, is always pleasant and extremely helpful whenever I have special needs. I went in with my boyfriend to fill out an application for a secured credit card and she personally walked us through the process step by step. She even followed up with a couple of calls to give me status reports as she got notifications of approval. The tellers there are always sweet and smiling, chatting with me about different things. The tellers make a personal connection with me every time my boyfriend and I come in. They even give my dog treats in the drive-thru when she is with me on my errands. I highly recommend Coastway to anyone looking for a more personal banking experience. Here you always feel like a person and not another account number. Since moving to the Coventry/West Warwick area more than five years ago, I chose this local bank, and have not regretted my decision. I have received excellent service at this branch, and the employees have the right combination of friendly and professional, both the tellers and the bankers. This location sometimes gets busy, but the tellers keep the line moving. It was also as a customer of Centreville Bank that I became acquainted with the convenience of direct deposit and online banking. I'm not a big computer geek, but their online banking website is very easy to use, and I like being able to transfer money between multiple accounts to manage my finances as needed. The only reason I'm giving this location 4 stars, instead of 5, is that this part of Tiogue Avenue has INSANE traffic. The bank is right across the street from a shopping plaza and a Speedway gas station, and right next to a popular local bakery. After too many harrowing experiences trying to pull out of the bank and take a left onto Tiogue Avenue (even with a middle turning lane!), I now always turn right onto Tiogue Avenue. If I need to go the other way, I will go into another parking lot to turn around.
