Finally the third visit, mid January, and we arrive for procedure to be told that insurance had not approved the procedure yet. No phone call (although they swore they had attempted to call myself & my daughter - did NOT happen), they had emailed two reminders for the appointment earlier in the week, and had no approval for insurance. When I questioned how long it had been since they had submitted a request for approval the receptionist told us sh'd have to look in computer, but then could not answer the question. The 'office manager' that we were put on the phone with, told us 2-3 wks ago, but could not give exact date. Personally I don't think the request had ever been submitted. Now I do realize mistakes can be made, but they would not own up to the mistake. And would not work with us so that the procedure could be done, and my granddaughter could get some relief & get this long dreaded procedure behind her. The only solution was we pay $3000 & figure it out with insurance on our own. The only reason for a star at all was because I had to for the review to post.
