The comic book store is inside so while my friend searched for his comics, I did some exploring. There's so much to see, so many wonderful things here. There are so many wonderful and unique items here - plan to spend a little time browsing for sure! We were looking for an antique dresser or chest of drawers and had multiple options! The pricing was fair on most items and I can't even begin to describe the over-the-top service we've received, including a team member staying late for me to retrieve an item accidentally left behind! This was my second visit and once again it was a place to have a good time browsing in and out of the vast options of treasures here. This store is a place where you can shop and have sit down for a break and have a small snack and a cool drink. It's a place where you can spend time and money well. A perfect day for me culminates with a nice dinner, and starts with an antique store, or two. Cobb Antique Mall was first stop on my perfect day! What I like about this store is the diversity of collectible items vs thrift store tsotchkes you wouldn't look twice at. Some unusual stuff: a collection of oil cans, pocket knives -- so many kinds! -- 1960s New Years Eve paraphernalia. Aisles and aisles, all nicely laid out and easy to navigate. The store is big. And every booth is taken, so there's a lot to see. If you're with someone who's bored, plop him (or her) down in the tv lounge complete with magazines and coffee. read more

This antique mall is extensive and will likely have whatever you are looking for! There were so many rare antiques here ranging from glassware to trading cards or furniture. The prices for items was also fair, and some items could be negotiated. There were a lot of different vendors here and a few of them hung around the shop and helped run things. It was neat to talk to the vendors about some of their items and I appreciated that they were available to answer questions. Really cool place to check out if you like antiques! read more

I wasn't so sure when this was first recommended to me because antique shops can be hit or miss, but I loved it! You'll walk into your childhood as you explore all the booths. The staff is SO friendly and helpful. It offers a wide variety of home and holiday decor, collectibles, jewelry, and more. I recently moved and found lots of goodies to mix with modern decor. I love coming here to browse and shop. The staff is very friendly. I usually am looking for small collectibles to add to my decor while my husband looks at all of the booths with vinyl records. The Cobb Antique Mall is a treasure to be discovered and we recommend to not rush through. Plan at least an hour to browse through. The booths are well laid out and sometimes we like to go counterclockwise as there is always new things added. The middle section is a vintage clothing dream. You know you are getting older when things you wore in high school are now considered vintage!! Ha!! We love going to the antique mall because it is a great way to spend time together on a rainy Saturday and it truly is like seeing a museum of things and times of the 20th century. Note of Items that are featured at some of the booths for collectors-Comic books, sports memorabilia, estate jewelry, furniture, clothing, crystal and glass. Uhhmm, this place was awesome. Never before had I ventured into an Antique Mall, because I pretty much had the assumption it would be filled with a bunch of crap. I went into it after a particularly hefty haul from the neighboring Value Village, just on a whim. Unfortunately, I got in only half an hour before they were going to close (6pm on Saturdays). The amount of vintage trinkets and toys they have is awesome, and I saw tons of glass cases filled with jewelry, if that's more your thing. I, however, am more interested in the toys and tools of bygone eras. Particularly the vintage typewriters, which were absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I wanted every single one that I found. As for the layout of the store, it's a singular large room, with adjoining sections and smaller connecting rooms filled with (sometimes) specific things. For example, there was a room that seemed to mostly house antique and unusual things and, as well as advertising related things (such as Coke bottles). There were also smaller rooms set up to look like mock rooms, that had carpets and a desk, with a typewriter, and small glass jars filled with things like buttons and vintage matchbooks. There was also a part sectioned off that seemed to be entirely vintage dresses and clothes, which I would have loved to peruse more thoroughly, but the store was 5 minutes to closing when I found that area. I also scanned the Layaway instructions, which included $100 down initially, and the rest of the item paid in full throughout the next 30 days. That seemed to be the gist of it, at least. I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area. It was an awesome store, very big, with tons of interesting things from typewriters to model ships, clothes, and even a huge ship's wheel. read more

Unlike the previous reviewer, I don't have a booth at the antique mall. I do agree with her five star rating; this place is the best spot to pick up reasonably priced antique and vintage items. You need at least an hour to make your way through the place. I picked up a sweet oil painting, a ceramic owl, a sewing basket, a pair of earrings, and some buttons all for about $50. I've spent close to a thousand dollars in the last year here decorating my home. I walked in a few weeks ago with a small group of my friends and overheard one of the checkout ladies mumble to another that she is "annoyed at the young kids coming in. The customer service is great. We enjoyed shopping there. We found a neat farm style window frame with a mirror and shelf.

I have been looking for a pretty specific designed cupboard and had stopped by Cobb Antique Mall a few weeks prior to see what they had and the layout. I really liked that the booths didn't feel too crowded on each other and that there is a very good variety of items. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by a woman at the desk who asked if she could help me. I gave her a general idea of what I was looking for, and she suggested I look in a specific area. I wanted to check out options so started looking at each booth as I walked. I had been there a few minutes and another woman came by to see if she could help. I gave her a more specific description of what I wanted, and she started on the other end of this very large store. She came back to me with some she had seen and took me to see each one. I bought a cupboard there with which I am very happy. I had to return to pick it up. When I did it was wrapped and ready. There were two gentlemen there to load it, and they very carefully did. I'll most definitely be back. read more

Seriously. Take some time in this place. It's HUGE and you can spend literally hours in it when all the booths are filled. Pick and choose because some of the items are super pricey but you can really find some unique items for a very reasonable price. TONS of collectibles! The staff are friendly but busy so don't expect a lot of questions to be answered unless you're willing to wait your turn. From time to time, you'll see a vendor there who will spend time getting you some answers about their particular booth. Very helpful. read more

This place is great for not just antiques but for football cards. They have anything you could need from supplies to actual cards. Only downside- Limited pack selection - only older stuff. They did add a little bit of new stuff but not much. But overall a good place read more

I had the absolute worst experience here, my friends and I were followed around the store, it was like a mini surveillance, it made us completely uncomfortable, I More of a harassing experience, they ended up calling the cops and tried to file some sort of discrimination report against this establishment, they(store owner and staff) got aggressive with us after confronted about the slight profiling, I'll never shop here and I should have blown this encounter up much bigger, read more

Ah! This might be my favorite antique mall in the metro ATL area! First off, this place is huge! There are so many booths to look at, you could easily spend hours here! The booths are very organized, clean and carry interesting and desirable inventory. I LOVE that in the center of the store is designated for mid century modern booths, however, there are more spread throughout the store. Price wise- SO affordable and willing to negotiate. I could have made it 4 or 5 stars if I was allowed to peruse and enjoy the assortment of items - which I think is excellent. But I was followed around 'surreptitiously' by at least 2 men (later on I found out it was at least 4 people (3 men and 1 woman) who thought an obviously older black woman with an unbalanced gait was a THIEF!!!. This was the first week I was able to walk upright after 7 weeks laid up in bed with excruciating back pain. I am a 62 yr old transplanted retiree who spends her time exploring antique stores in an attempt to make my last home a close replica of my childhood home in Trinidad W.I. I take enormous pleasure viewing old furniture, reading labels like 'chiffolette' or seeing an old cast iron utensil or clothes iron or a rusty aluminum bucket or a Bentley chair and remembering my deceased mother's voice speaking those words. But nooooooooo, a particular idiot made it his mandate to follow me with a noisy VACUUM CLEANING pretending to clean up WHEREVER I was!!!!!!!!!!!!. He scared the living daylights out of me!!! I thought he would suck me up into that vacuum cleaner! (He and several other employees later apologetically admitted that it was true). Normally, I would never buy from a store that encouraged such bias, but I was on the hunt for a vintage table of a particular dimension, price and look and I found it at this store - so I bought it at a fantastic price. Would I patronize that store again? Probably not because at the other antique stores I've visited so far I was treated in a normal fashion - they did not instantly judge me as a thief and followed me around because it was not necessary to do so. In the future I would shop and spend my money at those stores. read more
