Okay, so our house LITERALLY got struck by lightening! I was panicked and called after 8pm looking for someone to come out, and to my surprise Arden answered the phone! He made me an appointment for the next morning at 8am. A guy named Louie showed up, GREAT GUY! He gave us a bid and we excepted! They immediately applied for permits and got a brand new beautiful panel in the next day! It was literally a one and done! All I can say is thanks from the bottom of our hearts! Worst experience EVER! I contacted this company about work that needed done. Spoke to a guy who identified himself as the owner (Dave) who said that they were busy but could handle the work on Wednesday of the following week with a very specific time frame (7:00-7:30 AM). The night before I called to confirm and left a message. The morning of, I called and was told that Dave would return my call. After lunchtime came and went, I again called and reached someone who said that he had no clue about my job, but he would send someone to look over the job and could start work on Saturday. The guy did indeed come, however he said that they probably could not get to the work for well over two weeks, but that someone would call. I am still waiting for the call. I called these guys because of their rating. Maybe they were good once, and maybe my case was an anomaly. That still is NOT the way to treat customers read more

Not sure what is going on with this company. Louie came out 3 weeks ago to look at the electrical work that needed to be done and advised he would get back with us. I waited for 1 1/2 weeks called Cobb was advised he would call and he did quite quickly. He advised he would be back with us on Monday (1 week ago). I called Cobb again on Friday asking to speak to the owner who is not always in due to medical issues. Arden said he would do everything in his power to get this resolved after their meeting this am. Still nothing. Time to move on. Good luck if you decide to use their services. read more

Cobb to the rescue! The electrician we identified to wire our hot tub disappeared a week before delivery of the spa. We contacted Cobb on Monday, Steve came out on Wed and he completed the work on Friday. Amazing! Steve and crew were exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, competent and easy to work with. They were also quite cost competitive. When you find a quality, reasonably priced tradesman with terrific follow though - well, it's a huge stress relief. Just moved to Prescott Valley and was in need of an electrician. Searched Yelp and found Cobb Electric with great reviews. Called for an appointment yesterday and they were able to fit me in today and actually showed up about 30 minutes early. Part of our garage had no electrical outlets except a 220 outlet. Steve and his partner got right to work and converted that outlet to 2 receptacles, each one powered by new 20 amp breakers. They were professional, very personable and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend them if you're in need of electrical work. read more

When I had an electrical problem at my house my employer told me to call this company cause they had a good experience using them. I called and they came straight over and took care of the problem. I have hired them twice and would highly recommend. Steve is great, efficient and very pleasant and professional.

After arriving 2 1/2 hours late, at 3:30 p.m, and having not called to say he would be late, the electrician who came said that he might not be able to complete the job today, since he had to stop at 5:00, so that we would might have to schedule (and pay for) a second visit. He was very disorganized and spent a good 10 minutes (at $95./hr.) rummaging through parts in his truck. He then discovered that he did not have the required parts with him, though I had told the owner very specifically the parts that would be needed when I called to schedule. The electrician said that, unfortunately, this had not been communicated to him and that this was a common problem. He also said that they don't even stock the color of the parts we need, though I had been assured when I scheduled that they did, so that they would have to be ordered ahead of time. I told him we would be calling another electrician company, sent him on his way, and then had to put all the things I had moved out of the way back--wasted time and effort. Overall, a very unprofessional and disappointing experience. I would not recommend Cobb Electric. read more
