We were in a real bind tonight. Our 75-gallon electric Light Duty Commercial Rheem Eclipse water…read moreheater stopped giving us hot water (and of course) it was 5pm on a Friday evening. Our plumbing contractor who installed the water heater 18 months ago came and looked at it earlier in the day but saw a burned wire and a fuse that was out and he didn't want to take on the liability of fixing the wire and putting in a new fuse. He said the water heater had the potential to burn down our house. He told us that this was a dangerous situation and that we should shut it off and think about getting a new one. This water heater was $3200 so this just wasn't an option for us. And we were going into the weekend with no hot water and four of use who live in our home. I took to the internet and started researching electricians in my area. Thankfully, I found Roy Ewert and he was open until 6pm! He graciously took my call and listened to my predicament. He was at our home 25 minutes later and discovered that the water heater was perfectly fine but there were loose wires that were never tightened and and he immediately replaced the burnt wire and the fuse! Our water heater started right back up and we now have hot water for our family! We learned that Roy has been an electrician since 1977! He was so calm, patient and explained everything he was doing so that we would have confidence in our water heater again! Roy told us he was going on vacation tomorrow morning so we were literally his last call and he came out here to help us! Such a great guy! He charged us fairly and did an amazing job! He even followed up with me via text message two hours after he left to make sure we had hot water! I highly recommend this contractor!
