The house is 100 years old and has been added onto many times. Quite the mess. We went over our options and budget and came to a solution that fit our needs. Ultimately, we had Herb gut the kitchen, open up a few things and replace the flooring in the entire house. We only had a couple items that were "uppers" that were minimal in cost that were actually improvements that we decided to do after the fact. So he stuck to his original estimate with the exceptions of the improvements, and he was able to reallocate some funds to do another upgrade. He was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to text and calls. I do not live in the area and felt comfortable leaving things to Herb, his kids and team of workers.

However, due to Acklins experience, common sense judgment, relationships with sub-contractors, hard work ethics, and expert knowledge, we watched our home translate from architectural plans into a structurally sound and magnificent one-of-a-kind home that was nothing short of spectacular. We contacted Tile, Perfected about replacing the tile on our front porch. (A previous owner had…read moreinstalled slate and it was cracking and splintering in several areas.). Tony responded to my call the same day and came out to take a look at the job. He recommended that we consider a porcelain tile which would stand up better to the freeze and thaw cycles (vs slate). He also suggested that we consider finishing off the front-facing (vertical edge) of the porch with a metal trim piece and tile extending to the ground. This was something that no one else had recommended. Tony, and his assistant Alex, did a meticulous job of removing the old slate, grinding down the old adhesive until the surface was completely flat. They also sealed some cracks that had appeared under the old slate. They were very meticulous about laying the new tile. The tile installation came out better than we imagined, and we are extremely pleased with the results. The communication throughout the project was very good and Tony was very pleasant to work with. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the communication, quality of work, attention to detail, and the cleanup . If you are looking for a high-quality tile installation, be sure to check them out !

I checked reviews here and kind of randomly called Mike. We spoke for a while and he was quite cooperative about helping me with my inquiry. I ended up not buying that house but fast forward to this month (July 2025) and I bought a house in Prescott. My home inspector found several issues that needed repair that involved several specialties (plumbing, carpentry, drywall). I remembered my conversation with Mike and called him. We had a preliminary discussion on the phone about what needed to be done, and he assured me that he was qualified in all the required areas. It's also important to note that Mike is a licensed contractor. Mike came to the house at the appointed time and date and reviewed my list and checked out the areas where the work was needed. He gave me an estimate based on the number of hours he thought the work would take over a three-day period. Having been around the block many times regarding home repair, I found the estimate to be competitive and reasonable. I hired Mike. He arrived on the job promptly every morning. He completed all the repairs within the estimated number of hours and with much care and expertise. I will definitely be calling Mike for any future work that needs to be done at my house.

I was doing a lighting project in my 3 story condo. I called and spoke with Matt the owner and got firm quote right over the phone. I was amazed that he was available start the job right away, not like the electrical contractors who are 2 or 3 weeks outs and not to mention twice as expensive. I was impressed with his knowledge and capabilities. He explained he was working for one of the top electrical contractors in San Diego before starting his own business. It definitely showed in his work. He showed up on time and had all the materials ready, he didn't charge me anything for getting them and even gave me a receipt with the bill so I knew he wasn't over charging me. When we asked them to be more conscientious and considerate of our property, we got a bunch of attitude and aggression from both the painters and their manager Dave. When we brought up our issues to the owner, Matthew, we got the same angry/aggressive response as if we were in the wrong for speaking up. I don't know too many companies that stay in business by bullying and gaslighting their customers, but these guys are certainly trying!

We had a hard time finding someone to do this as there was a great demand for handymen. I found Brandon and he got back to us promptly and told us he would be able to do this work in about two days. Brandon came but was a bit late but had called ahead to let us know of his delay. He said the he and his assistant would be able to get both racks up in a few hours. They completed the work and it seemed fine. Two days ago, 8/31/2022, my wife and I heard a crash in the garage. I then discovered after going into our garage that the rack collapsed. After investigating the bracket that came out of the ceiling, Brandon didn't bolt the bracket through a stud but only drilled through the sheet rock in the ceiling. Luckily it didn't crash onto my wife's car as the front end is parked underneath the storage rack. The items on the rack shifted but nothing was damaged. Attempting to have Brandon fix his wrong, I called the number listed for him and his phone is no longer in service. Funny thing is that his website is still up and running. Weird. Don't trust this guy, he does horrible work.

She ended up telling me that I had to leave the car for a technician to view it complete inconvenience. Here's a picture of the broken glass. There isn't anything else that needs replacing for the love of God. Absolute worst, no F given Attitude today from BMW before I went through insurance to just deal with it through BMW. I ended up going to BMW directly to my service advisor and all they could tell me is like I should leave the car and we'll get a technician to give an estimate 24 hours later One more thing if you look at the reviews on yelp, they only have 3.5 stars I can see why but I would say it's a one star shop
