"The way car buying should be." I know that's an old marketing slogan for a different car dealership but I feel it aptly applies to Cobb County Toyota. I've had my 2024 Toyota 4Runner XSeries Off Road Premium in Solar Octane for nearly two weeks now and I am absolutely over the moon with it. I was looking to buy a 5th generation Toyota 4Runner and Cobb County Toyota had the perfect one in stock. The truck was well represented in photos and the price was a great deal compared to similar cars on the market. When it came time to make a deal, they didn't add any extra fees or try to add "mandatory" maintenance plans. The price the car was listed for was the price I paid, plus a nominal tag fee and taxes. My salesperson, Gabriel, was incredibly nice, patient, and not overly pushy. He worked with the finance manager to get me a fair offer for my trade-in. They do try to sell warranty/maintenance plans once you make it back to a finance guy, but he wasn't overly pushy when I declined them which was much appreciated. In the next year, I'll be in the market for an A91 Supra and Cobb County Toyota will definitely be the first place I consider looking. read more

After 25 years of service with CCT I will not be going back there. I went to service dept. and asked them if they would honor competition company coupons. They said they wouldn't. I asked to speak to Manager and spoke to Zack. I explained that I have been a loyal customer for over 25 years and had bought a Rave 4 here and they always use to send coupons to me and my wife and he turned me straight down. I guess no one cares about loyalty anymore, it's all about the $$$. Zack had no personality nor does he know how to treat a customer. I'll start with... why have an appointment if it means nothing while waiting for service? I had a 8am appointment and my truck sat until 10am while I waited until it was brought into service area. I bought my 1st truck here and it was cluster. I came here as Cobb Toyota on Cobb parkway was slow to service my truck too. I gather that warranty work gets pushed back as the profit isn't there. just know that the service take the slow road at both these dealership. I'll try Cartersville next time. Because 3 hrs plus is wrong and I am still waiting. I suggest trying other dealership. read more

I took my car to Cobb County Toyota on March 31st for a routine oil change and to have my CarPlay port inspected because it was not working properly. When I got there, my radio and screen were working perfectly fine aside from the CarPlay issue. I waited about 3-4 hours for the service to be completed. After getting my car back, I realized my radio screen would no longer turn on at all. The entire display system was completely dead. I immediately called the service department, and they apologized and offered me an appointment the following morning. The next morning, I went back and waited another two hours while they looked at the vehicle again. I eventually had to follow up myself for an update because nobody communicated with me. When I finally spoke to the service staff (Andrew), instead of explaining what had happened or attempting to diagnose the issue clearly, I was immediately told about replacement radios and quoted $1,965 plus tax. At no point did anyone explain why my radio stopped working immediately after servicing my vehicle. I brought the car in with a functioning radio and left without one. The interaction felt dismissive, and it seemed more focused on avoiding responsibility than helping resolve the issue. One manager even told me, "Well, your car has over 100,000 miles, what did you expect?" My car had about 106,000 miles, but that response felt disrespectful and completely ignored the fact that the radio was working before the service appointment. I called Toyota corporate support, who opened a case and told me I would receive a callback from the store manager within 24 hours. I never received that callback. When I followed up again with corporate, I was told the dealership claimed it was simply a coincidence that my radio stopped working at the same time they serviced the vehicle. Wanting a second opinion, I took my car to an independent shop. Within a short time, they found that a fuse connected to the radio appeared to have been blown and removed entirely. They replaced the fuse, and my radio immediately worked perfectly again. Total cost: $75. After being quoted nearly $2,000 for a full radio replacement by Cobb County Toyota, the actual issue turned out to be a missing/blown fuse that cost $75 to fix. I understand that mistakes can happen during vehicle service. What disappointed me most was not the mistake itself, but the lack of accountability, communication, and customer care afterward. I hope this review encourages better transparency and treatment of customers in the future. read more

I went in to Cobb County Toyota to lease a new Tacoma per the lease deal advertised on TV (by Toyota) and on the dealers website. First, let me say I had no issue with my salesperson. I drove a truck, liked it. They appraised my vehicle. I know what my car is worth as I already have an offer from Carmax. They offered me 60% of what Carmax did. There is nothing wrong with my vehicle. Low mileage, excellent condition. When I brought this up the sales manager got all defensive and rude. Started with an attitude. I asked for my keys as this is NOT the only Toyota dealer in the area. Suddenly, couldn't find my keys. I demanded my keys and got them. I go out to get in my car and it reeks of french fries. NICE. You offer me almost 1/2 of what my vehicle is worth and then you "appraise" it while driving it to lunch and bring it back smelling of fast food. IF you want to get screwed...shop here. I was promised 1230 so I waited. I went to the desk at 1230 and was told my car has to wait because they are going to lunch,... So I was at service from 10 am until 330pm. I went in for my first time in many years to have my Camry's oil changed. At first it was good. I paid, went to my car to leave and the driver's door had grease all on it, my glove box was laid out in my passenger seat, boot prints on the floor and driver side lower rocker panel cover, and the passenger seat was laid back. I would expect a reputable shop to return my car from a simple oil change exactly how I brought it in. The service guy, Brenton, came out to clean it, but made excuses the entire time for the tech not cleaning up and not owning the issue on behalf of Cobb County Toyota. He then made a "fake" phone call to a "service manager" to request him to come look at it (on his own accord not at my request). When he finished cleaning it up, he walked off saying your all good now, bye. No service manager came out at all. I felt extremely brushed off by them. I should not be surprised by this as they are not BBB accredited; they have a D- rating. In the past, they had told me a previous Camry I had, had an oil leak. Had a second opinion done, no oil leak. They have some really shady business practices going and I will not return. I advise no one to trust anything they say, let alone any service advisor, (especially Brenton). Very disappointed they have the Toyota name of quality and service tied to them. read more

Worst car dealership I've seen in 50 years of car buying. Where to start? Bought a car, didn't realize the salesmen had been listening to the radio in it the days before and the morning after I got the car home, the battery was dead. Had to call tow truck. The salesman called asking how I liked it. Said "Battery dead." He said, "Great, great." Brought car in for oil change, car came out with 1 inch hole in manifold cover and oil sprayed all over the car. Manager ignored me and 2 certified mail letters I sent. Next time, when searching for a car, I foolishly stopped there again. Salesman would not even talk to me and that would have been a cash sale. Lost a cash sale. Not a quality dealership. read more

Just got off the phone with Joel Treiger, the general manager of this dealership and supposed manager of the shottiest service deparment. He was not only short with me on the phone, he was also rude during the conversation and WE ARE THE CUSTOMER. He did not and will not take any form of ownership for a tire blow out my dad had on his way home from having his oil changed and his four tires rotated last Thursday. The back right tire blew ON THE WAY HOME FROM THIS SERVICE AT Joel's service department. Joel said, like his service manager said this morning, that he will not cover any cost of the tire. I would not take my Toyota to this dealership if you paid my 1 million dollars. They will not take care of your need. The reason was given this morning: that because of a Toyota tire RECALL, they had already replaced the tire for "free" - yes! that is what is supposed to happen after a nationwide tire recall for Toyota! I will NOT be returning with my father and he has already stated he will not be returning to let this service department touch his Toyota again. Also, I have not received any kind of result from Toyota corporate, but it could take some time. For now, you can, if wanted, let your loved ones know not to trust this dealership with their vehicle investment. I purchased a new $60k vehicle, an extended warranty and maintenance plan. I took time off from work and came in for my twelve month service and left with an oil change and tire rotation. I asked to have my maintenance book filled out and got a stamp with nothing documented. The plan was about $4k. They are running a racket. I'm happy with the vehicle but if they won't even do the required maintenance how will they honor their warranty when there is a real problem. read more

My initial experience at Cobb County Toyota was great. The salesman was perfect, very friendly and helpful and the F&I experience was also great. I was very happy with my purchase and happy about the dealership. That recently changed. We bought the car on May 2, 2025 so we could have a reliable vehicle while out of state. We bought the car six weeks before going out of state and had no idea there would be any issues. The expiration date of the temp tag would occur while we were out of state. The last time I bought a car at the same dealership, it took only two weeks to get the permanent tag. On May 28, I first called the tag office. They let me know that the dealership didn't submit the documents to process a tag. That was 26 days after the purchase. I called the dealership to find out what happened. I spoke with a different F&I rep. I wanted to know what the delay was and what can be done to expedite the process. Sadly, he pushed back and wasn't willing to help. I was persistent and he put me on hold. He came back several minutes later and told me it was processed. As I still don't have this tag, and it is now June 7. I have to assume I was lied to. I did try to reach out to the General Sales Manager and he never responded. Someone else did call yesterday to let me know the state has the information to process the tag. I am very bitter about this. I trusted this dealership would care about their customers. What they proved to me is they care when you are buying a car, but after that, not so much. At this point, I won't be able to use my car as intended and no one at the dealership will tell me why. If you don't care if a dealership has great customer service after the sale, by all means, buy from Cobb County Toyota. If customer service is important, I recommend you look at other dealerships. I wish I had and will never buy another car from Cobb County Toyota. Why did they wait 29 days to process my tag, assuming it really was processed and why did it take me making a call to have it happen? read more

I came to this dealership for my annual maintenance. Once they were finished and handed me the keys, I went to my car to find the driver's side door handle broken. They did not mention anything about the broken handle when they gave me the keys. I walked back to the shop and asked about the issue, the manager, Zach, explained that it wasn't on purpose that the door handle broke, but since it happened at their shop, I would pay $150 for a new handle and an extra $100 to get it painted, and they will cover the service fee. I told them the broken handle is not my responsibility to pay for since they broke it. They refused to cover it after going back-and-forth for what seemed like 20 minutes. All I have to say is, if you break someone's property, fix it. read more

TRICKERY IS REAL!!!!!!! I visited this dealership in hopes of purchasing a new vehicle for the business, but discovered that they use deception, lies, and corruption in their business sales and deals. For instance, I completed an application under the business name for the vehicle, less than 20 minutes after they tell me the app. wasn't approved. I asked why? No explanation, then they said, if you add your name on the application, I'm sure you will be approved. How do you know that for sure? Deception. They are lying to consumers about their application status because they want the consumer to put the vehicle in their name along with the business name. So, they lie and tell the consumer their app. was declined to induce the consumer to add their name or a cosigner even though their business credit is strong enough to carry the loan. Scammers. I never received a denial notice from ALLY BANK, whom they claimed was the bank they submitted the app to, as required by law and it's been more than 50 days. I contacted " ALLY BANK" on more than 4 separate occasions they informed me that they do not have any record of an application with my information denied or approved in their data base. Cobb County Toyota lied. Do not trust Cobb County Toyota. This dealership wasted my time, and caused me stress, headaches and frustration. They are corrupt and very dishonest. read more

Exterior They're located on a side street off Barrett Pkwy. Tucked in between two other auto dealerships. I found it a bit difficult to figure out where the service department was and the parking lot is TIGHT. Interior Definitely an older dealership, but clean. All the usual stuff - televisions, free coffee, vending machine. Customer Service My service technician was the most detail-oriented, thorough technician I've ever encountered in over 15 years of Toyota ownership. We had a bit of a rough start because I asked a simple question and I didn't expect him to be so detailed in his explanations ... and during his explanation, he wasn't actually entering me into the system and other cars were queueing up as I stood there - so I was afraid that I was going to lose my place in the queue - but we got past it. I should note - when I called to check prices and schedule my visit - I was also VERY leery when I found out that this location does not take appointments. If I'm being honest. I have to admit that I stiill don't quite understand the logic behind this (not prioritizing customers who would like to plan and schedule visits versus walk-ins / drop-ins), but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my service was performed, so ultimately, I have no complaints. I explained that I'm not a diva, I just like appointments because as a self-employed worker bee, I work a LOT of hours and there's no such thing as paid time off in my life (lol), so it can be a little anxiety inducing when I don't have an appointment and I'm not sure if I'm going to be waiting for 1 - 2 hours, versus 4 - 6 hours which might mean calling a client to cancel or reschedule with very short notice and missing out on money! Lol. The technician explained that even if you have an appt, it just lets dealership know what time to expect you, it doesn't mean you're going to be prioritized over the walk-ins who are already there. Price / Value I got a synthetic oil change. They were cheaper than Marietta Toyota and WAY cheaper than Firestone. Overall Overall, would definitely recommend. I don't know if the speed I experienced was a fluke, but I'll definitely be back to check it out. read more

Stay away from SERVICE AREA ! All commission based, you pay more for EVERYTHING, plus you are a number NOT a person. Spent 2k in repairs, they didn't save parts as requested, left grease on floor may & door handle, had to ARGUE with Todd Pluger about getting new mat and cleaning grease off handle. He interupted, talked over me, argued, then "cleaned" the mat which wasn't done right, never offered to clean grease off door handle, and dumped my parts on the bay floor...even asking for a trash bag to handle them fell on deaf ears ! Disgusting behavior from a dealership and shows that there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE DECORUM ! drove up to Cherokee toyota after them telling me on the phone they could get a replacement key in a few days and 1 week went by to no avail they told me they would not have the key and they did not know how long. I came there after going to Kennesaw Toyota which they did the same thing only when ! called after a week i requested my money back and they said they could only give me part long story short i asked for a mgr and I got it back. but still got a phone call saying they do not make the key anymore 2 months later and he did not check my account to see it was returned. read more

I took my Tacoma in for a check engine light issue.  After the 3rd time having it there for the same problem the light came on the next day. I requested a refund on the work and it was declined. I wish I read the reviews first before I gave this place a shot. I normally have a Honda preference but the Camry seemed to be a good option for me at this time. After a somewhat promising start, I was able to test drive and get a feel for a 2021 Camry. There seemed to be a lot of rev hang while driving this low millage 4cyl model, but I haven't had a Toyota before so I assumed this was normal. Afterwards, I brought my girlfriend for her to get a feel for the car as well and see how she liked it. We didn't drive it the second time because I mostly wanted to see how she felt sitting in the car as far as comfort goes. As we were standing there informing the sales person that we would have a decision by the end of next week. Some other salesperson was walking along with some customers that were also interested in one of the four Camry's on the lot. Sir really said, "Yeah, these guys might be more serious about it anyways." And proceeded to walk off. I've been through a lot, but that was quite unprofessional and left me feeling embarrassed and less than. Especially since I told my girlfriend how nice everything else was with the staff and the vehicle itself. I will say, I won't be buying from this location. read more

Hi, It was time for maintenance to be done, my vehicle told me so. I didn't know what type of maintenance but knew an oil change was needed and I had a pre collision message on the vehicle since I bought it used from a different Toyota dealership. I called Cobb County Toyota and set up an appointment with JC Cooper at 8:30 AM on 5/27/25. JC was recommended to me by my neighbor. JC kept me up to date on everything that was happening with my vehicle. They ended up keeping my vehicle a little longer to get the pre collision issue corrected and repaired properly, the shuttle picked me up on Wednesday morning so that I could get a loaner and get to work. JC and the team at Cobb County Toyota were great and I had a wonderful experience with my first visit to the dealership. I will return and I will see JC again as my service advisor. August 8, 2024: Vehicle (15,7xx miles) was taken in for a check engine light. I was told nothing was wrong and they cleared the code. October 7, 2024: Vehicle (18,5xx miles) was taken in for a check engine light. I was told nothing was wrong and they cleared the code. When I pressed to have the issue addressed further. I was told "Toyota corporate makes us jump through a bunch of hoops in order to get paid for warranty work. Bring it back as soon as the light comes back on." I did not realize it at the time, but this should have been a sign that this dealership is shady. November 15, 2024: Vehicle (19,7xx miles) was taken in for a check engine light. I was told that it is NOT covered under warranty and I had to pay $1,700 for repair. I was naïve and trusted Toyota to stand behind their vehicle and warranty and they will not. Maybe if Cobb County Toyota would have done more than just clear the code back in August, my repair bill would have been much less. We will never know. Do not trust Cobb County Toyota to service your vehicle. They do not care about helping you. All they care about is taking money from you. read more

Car was done at 12:30 and I went to ask about it at 1:15 and I was told they forgot to let me know. Waiting room was packed. I can only imagine how many people were waiting longer than needed.
