I agree 100% with Ali P. from Woodstock; this place is a rip-off machine. Slow as hell and overcharge you with no up-front transparency. I was there and a little old humpback lady with a Hyundai was there for an oil change. They charged her $150 some dollars for an oil change and two wiper blades. I was there about 3 hours and the little old lady was there ahead of me. Not only do they overcharge you; you need to take a book to read because there's no getting in, getting out quickly. I felt sorry for the little old lady, she complained about the price, but to no avail. I had a quote from one of their competitor across the street from them for $115 quote for work on a European car but they would not accept walk-ins, and wanted me to drop the car off the next day. It was my wife's car and she needed it back, so I went across the street to Accurate. They did the work and diagnostic and charged me more than double the price of the competitor across the street who works strictly on European cars. Their work is okay, but slow as hell and every customer that was there during my recent stay was vastly overcharged, including me. Lesson learned, they will never see me again read more

My vehicle needed transmission & radiator fluid change (no flush, just drain & fill), as it's been 75k miles when I bought it new. They accept walk in, as well as appointments. Everything is thoroughly explained. You tell them what you need, they inspect your entire vehicle & give you other things that needed attention, like my rear wiper, which I declined, as I never uses it. Whatever you agreed to, then the work is done. They charge a fair price, even cheaper, like with oil change, than the place I used to go to get my oil change. Randall, Pat, Gage? are great, friendly guys. They keep you updated on your vehicle status. This is my go to shop from now on. Glad I found them. read more

EXTREMELY OVERCHARGED & NO TRANSPARENCY! I brought my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee here for a simple EVAP small leak (Code P0456). They charged me $203.90 just for the smoke test/diagnostic, which is already very high. But the real scam is Job #2: they charged $541.17 for replacing the "Evaporative System Integrity Module (ESIM)" and the seal. The OEM Mopar parts (Part numbers: 4861959AD & 68321481AA) cost less than $70 retail! This job takes less than 20-30 minutes to complete because the parts are easily accessible under the rear wheel well. This means they charged over $470 in labor for a 20-minute job (equivalent to over $1,000/hour!). When I asked for an itemized invoice showing the exact price of the parts vs. labor, they flat-out refused, saying "we can't give you the parts invoice." What are they trying to hide? As a paying customer, it is my absolute right to know exactly what brand and what parts are being installed on my vehicle. How can I trust that they actually replaced the parts with high-quality OEM components if they refuse to show the invoice? Your job is to diagnose and repair, not to hide what is being put into my car. Hiding parts invoices is a major red flag and makes me question if the work was even done honestly. This is highly unprofessional and predatory pricing. If you care about your money and expect honest service, avoid Accurate Care Automotive at all costs! I am filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). read more

I came here to get all my fluids flushed and refilled on a Monday. I had a great experience and everyone was friendly. Fast forward to Thursday. I went to another place to get new tires put on my vehicle. After they put them on, I was advised by them that two lug nuts on 2 different tires were stripped and I would need either new lug nuts or new studs. I called Accurate Care Automotive to let them about the issue. They denied taking the tire off and were very lethargic about even wanting to help. They said "we'll investigate, but I don't think it was us. I pled my case to no avail. I got SO frustrated, I had to just tell them I'll pay someone else to do it and hung up before I said something I would regret. I will post wherever I need to telling of my experience, as well as contemplating filing a suit in small claims court, depending on how much it costs me to fix. I now do not have my vehicle to drive and have to find a car to borrow, My experience with them was negative and do not recommend. May consider legal action in Small Claims court. read more

Now, almost 7 years later, Accurate Care Automotive has done every service I've needed for my 2003 Tacoma since that first review....Everything from oil changes/tire rotations to driveshaft, gaskets, brakes, transmission/ rear axle service and, just last week, timing belt replacement and complete new front brakes. My 2015 Jeep Wrangler needed some major work - a new engine block. The mechanic at Accurate did a good job. While the car now triggers a new trouble code (P000d), all of the issues from before are fixed. This job cost $12k. Better than buying another Jeep. Still have the P000d issue, but it is no longer burning coolant out of the tailpipe. read more

I have never gone into that shop and felt like I couldn't trust them. I have always felt confident in their ability to communicate service, time frame, and prices. I called to ask for an estimate on a repair as I was pretty sure what was wrong with my vehicle. The person that I spoke with told me that is usually not the problem & they typically end up having to replace the transmission. I get that you typical car owner doesn't know much about cars, but I've worked on my own cars my entire life and had researched the trouble codes/symptoms as I told the representative. I contacted another shop & took it there. The repair was exactly as I'd forecasted and didn't require a new transmission. I have no idea if this is typical for Accurate Care Automotive, but I will not be calling them again. read more

My new place, they fix everything but broken hearts. You can actually tell they take pride in their work, hard to find post Covid.

I've been taking our two cars to ACA for more than a year. I have no complaints about quality of work performed. My concern is a matter of 'trust' that they are partnering with me to keep my vehicles running reliably and helping me keep maintenance costs under control. EVERY time I've taken one of our cars in for a routine service (Oil change, etc) I get a call saying "oh, we found this problem or that problem" or "we recommend you replace such and such part". And the cost to address whatever they recommend is anywhere between $800-$2000. When I challenge them on the need for the repair and/or the cost, they ALWAYS back down and want to negotiate doing something less expensive than what they originally said was needed. If it were not the same story literally EVERY time I take our cars in I would not have begun questioning whether I'm being sold things that I don't need or don't need at that time. As I stated, ACA does great work and if you are somewhat mechanically knowledgeable about automotive repairs they might be the right repair shop for you. I am not sure they are interested in partnering with me to keep my cars running and helping me keep maintenance costs down. For me that has become a deal breaker. read more
