We spent the night here on our way thru North Dakota traveling to Banff and Glacier NP. I had booked prior to arriving a king suite room. There is a full size refrig, stovetop, microwave and dishwasher along with a living area and separate bedroom. Hopefully won't be too loud tonight beings there are a lot of people for a wedding and family reunion. We'll see. There is a breakfast in the morning we plan to partake in. This is an older hotel couch needs replacing but it's nice to have a chair to sit in. read more

This place is one of the better hotels at Devil's Lake. We have stayed there several times with kids. It's cleaner than other options in the area. However July 2026 - pool has been closed for a significantly long period of time during the summer. We had to check out and go to a different hotel due to strong gas smell, a rotting smell through out the lobby and first level. The fire dept, paramedics and others were working to find out what the issue was. We had to leave because the odor was too strong. A few weeks later they said it was because the air ducts needed to be cleaned..? Not sure if this is entirely true. All in all, if the pool opens up & the smell is taken care of - this is one of the better hotels in the area. Would stay here again. The front desk staff were kind. read more

We have stayed at the Cobblestone Hotel and Suites on this trip and what a pleasant and Great experience we had. Even just calling on the phone, your front desk people are kind, professional and polite. First, we stayed in Rugby, ND and it was very nice, and Now the Devils Lake location! Now, we plan to return and only stay in the Devil's Lake Cobblestone Hotel & Suites location. The beds are SUPER LUXURIOUS and Temperature in the room is perfect conditions for a Great Sleep! My husband and I met Autumn and Lainey at the Devils Lake location. Super friendly and informative. We actually are planning a vacation to stay and fish and relax in ND when we get more time in our schedules. We literally CANNOT WAIT! While I've been staying here for the last 5 years during my work trips. I like the rooms/pool set up. Recently on Jan 8, 2020, In walking into my room, I saw a big red spot on carpet to which I took a picture and reported to the front desk. The front desk person came up to see the spot! Which put my bedtime at 1.5 hours after check in. I really felt this could have waited until morning. I stayed for 7 hours. Next day, i noticed they put a hold on $200 in addition to the $100 nights stay which I was never informed they do. The manager amber had to help their employee in getting me a receipt as she seemed not properly trained. I've never heard of a $300 hold on a $100 room. While I understand new employees, management has to train them properly. They seemed to cite a rule book when attempting to address issues and more importantly the huge credit card hold which does not get released after 2 days. So if your planing a trip, I'd recommend you look at all the stats in this area and ask for transparency with your credit card. After all, it's your money. Trying to get a hold of a manager is like pulling teeth! Not too happy about this stay. read more

When looking for a place to stay in Devils Lake, do not choose this place. I've stayed here twice. The first time was great the second time was really crappy. Management doesn't seem to care. I booked this hotel in advance and reserved 2 handicapped rooms and two regular rooms. They only saved one handicapped room for me. Gave me a room on the first floor and called it a handicapped room and it wasn't. Hard for someone that uses a wheelchair to get into the shower. It was ridiculous. We stayed seven nights. Housekeeping came everyday and give us clean towels. They didn't do anything else in our room. They never made the beds, never clean the bathrooms, never vacuumed, did not bring toilet paper or soap. They DID take our tip the days we left it. We spoke to management about this and we thought it would get better but unfortunately it never did. I wouldn't care if it was just my room, but all four rooms I booked had terrible service. There were a couple days that they didn't even come in and bring clean towels. The rooms just got forgotten about. Management said they would take $10 off per night. When we checked out they did not honor their promise. We were still charge the same rate. The customer service is friendly and the rooms are clean and cozy. But wait, that's not even the best part... the ice machine is LITERALLY the most efficient piece of machinery I've ever seen. Filled not 1, but 2 coolers with ice and it was still making ice!! Crazy. read more
