They provide your pharmacy needs, but also sell a small selection of food/convenience food items, school supplies, cosmetics, health and beauty products, candy, photo finishing, magazines, and more. My general complaint about Walgreen's is that their pharmacies tend to be a lot slower than I'd like. I can't help but think that that is on purpose so that you look around and purchase other products there while you wait. I've sometimes had to wait close to an hour for a medication. That seems unreasonable. I've always found the service helpful and friendly, especially if I'm looking for something I can't find. I like that most Walgreen's, including this one, have Redbox locations where I can pick up a movie.

He refused even a single pen(which I am well informed on) to bridge me over while the issue was sorted out. His disregard for my medical history and the urgency of insulin access was unacceptable. If this is how he treats long-standing patients with life-sustaining medications, it may be time for him to reconsider his role. I was essentially sent away without the medication I rely on to live. I was looking for something in dairy and i asked someone for help but he was really distracted and didnt hear me. he was a wide gentleman, i think he was a higher up of somekind but he couldve just been hard of hearing. everything else i found. However at the service counter this younger native i think girl was very standoff ish like she didnt like i took away from her phone time. she walked away when i wasnt even finished speaking. I might be old but i can still pick up on rudeness. But besides that I really enjoyed the store! Very Clean and Organized. My husband was very sick with Pneumonia. Provider wanted him…read morein the hospital, but he would not go, so he sent some prescriptions to Walgreens to start right away. Got to Walgreens and was told that there was no pharmacist. Ran back to the urgent care and had them sent to Cub. I know people get sick and shit happens, but this was the first time we were done wrong. A few weeks ago, I was waiting for 2 prescriptions for my husband who was suffering from a terrible Gout flare up. I was told his prescriptions would be ready in 15 minutes. An hour later I was still waiting. Finally got the prescription and went home. Only had one of his prescriptions in the bag. Had to go back and pick up the other one. Called the urgent care to make sure they were both sent in. Yes they were both sent in. Not even an appology!!!! HATE Walgreens and I don't trust them at all. Sat next to really nice lady while I was waiting. She was called and told her rx was ready. She drove all the way from Andover and when she got there to pick it up, they told her they didnt even carry the prescription she was there to pick up!!! This is just shameful. Please BEWARE!!!

My insurance covers most of my medications but one due to brand name…read more(insurance I know) but she gave me a discount card, talked to me about pricing and offered to order one that was a different brand that insurance would cover that they're out of stock of. Super thoughtful, sadly I couldn't wait and needed it ASAP so had to eat the bill but thank you Nikki!
