One of the first local Milton small businesses I was introduced to. Located in a small business…read morestrip off Main Street, it is a beautiful shop with a little bit of seating. Such a cute and delightful spot! Service was fast, friendly and helpful. I had a lot of questions since it was my first time there. They answered all my questions and had good recommendations. They make some great goodies with a Filipino spin! For my first visit, I tried mini sausage buns, Cinnamada (cheesey cinnamon rolls!) and cake slices (the San Rival is ). Everything was beautiful and flavourful. Must return to try more.

I'm Filipino so I always get super excited when I stumble across small Filipino owned bakeries and man did this place blow me away. They are a little pricy here imo (for the empanadas) but you will not be disappointed. I bought a dulce de leche cupcake and I'm usually a frosting hater so I was a little skeptical since it looked heavy on the frosting, but once I bit in I was delighted by how light and moist it was! I also got one chicken and one pork empanada and they were both delicious. My favorite between the two was the pork. The crust was rich and flaky and the filling was super authentic, reminding me of what I've eaten growing up. The interior is also so cute, it smells amazing once you step inside, and the girl with the hijab working the register was really nice as well. I ended up purchasing a 6 pack of half chicken half pork empanadas to take home to my family!! 10/10 will be back soon :)

We went apple picking today at Chudleigh's and it was such an awesome experience…read more Hadn't done apple picking in ages Probably not since a kid To get in you have to buy tickets online for different times Times are staggered to control the crowds and the picking We chose the 3-6 time slot Getting in was reasonably easy The picking itself was loads of fun We decided to walk and went for some Macs and Galas The selection on the trees were good Many were ripe and juicy We sampled the crop and it was definitely good The place has different sections to dine We went to the cidery to sample their cider selections The hint of honey was what we selected and it was sooooo good Perfect balance and not too sweet Bought some to take home because it was that good There is a place you can get roasted corn to eat There is a small restaurant where you can get their famous apple blossoms both savoury and sweet You can also get burgers, fries, sausages and pizza on the menu The market has their blossoms you can buy to bring home along with sweet cider, apple jams, and other apple culinary delights Would definitely go again for the experience It was worth the drive out there

We arrived at Chudleighs on a gorgeous balmy Saturday with some friends and their kids. The parking…read morelot (which is basically just a grassy field) was quite packed so we were guided by an attendant to a convenient spot. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking with the escarpment overlooking the farm (which in itself is worth 2 stars). After paying our admission the confusion began. We came to pick apples but there were no clear directions as to which way to proceed. The attendants that were peppered about the farm seemed disengaged and not attentive to the myriad of guests that were aimlessly trying to figure out where to go. Finally making our way to a booth flanked by over 15 confused guests and one overwhelmed elderly woman we overheard the instructions for apple picking. The rest of our time touring the orchards was fine. On our way out we wanted to grab a bite to eat - little did we know, after we entered the line up there was a "cash only no credit" sign. There were no other plastic payment alternatives. Starved and frustrated we exited the line and made our way to the exit picking up a few jams and a mini apple pie box. Prices of the products were quite high - look to spend anywhere between $20-$50 if you are going to pick up any goodies. Our next visit at an apple orchard will be at a smaller more affordable farm.
