I was impressed with the cake part. It was moist without being greasy, however, it was a little on the small side. The icing had a good texture but there was something I didn't love about the flavour; I felt like it was lacking the brightness a citrus flavour should pack. Overall I think I would definitely be interested in coming back to try out a few more flavors and get a better idea of the place. One cupcake is simply not enough to accurately judge, however, this place definitely has some potential. I'll be looking forward to my next visit!

I'm thrilled to report that their pasties de nata are absolutely incredible--some of the best I've had outside of Portugal! The tarts boast a buttery, flaky, and perfectly crisp outer shell, giving way to a soft, creamy custard filling that is simply irresistible. Each bite was a perfect balance of texture and flavour, leaving me craving more. They're truly addictive! If you're in the Milton area, I highly recommend popping in to try these delicious treats. Such a cute and delightful spot! Service was fast, friendly and helpful. I had a lot of questions since it was my first time there. They answered all my questions and had good recommendations. They make some great goodies with a Filipino spin! For my first visit, I tried mini sausage buns, Cinnamada (cheesey cinnamon rolls!) and cake slices (the San Rival is ). The crust was rich and flaky and the filling was super authentic, reminding me of what I've eaten growing up. The interior is also so cute, it smells amazing once you step inside, and the girl with the hijab working the register was really nice as well. But this weekend when I finally got the chance to go in and grab some cupcakes, they'd changed everything. The icing was done with an oil, or a shortening, and it was awful. The cakes are no longer light, moist and cakey...they're sticky as if they're made with a syrup rather than sugar. I was so very disappointed and I wonder why they'd make such a huge change from perfect cupcakes last summer to awful, avoid-if-at-all-possible sticky-oil products.

We've heard a lot of good things about this bakery chain but have never actually visited before. I actually didn't even know we had one in Milton so the flyer was a great incentive to visit. The service: we came to visit on a Friday early afternoon around 1pm. Keep in mind that the coronavirus outbreak started today with all of the government extending spring break until April which might have explained why the bakery was so busy. There were probably 6 people in front of us and by the time we got served there were another 3 behind us. The owner told us that it's usually busy but it's never been this busy at this time of day and it's been non stop since 8 am (most likely due to current events). Though they were busy, they were still very attentive and patient which is nice because they have over 80 selection of breads and pastries to choose from. It's also great that they're open at 6am everyday so if you are headed somewhere you can pick up some freshly baked goods on the way. The food: there is so many breads and pastries to choose from. They have sweet and savoury options which is perfect for lunch or brunch. We picked up a pack of cross buns (which we were able to mix and match), a baguette, their olive loaf and a chocolate scone. Everything is freshly baked everyday and is delicious. I highly recommend visiting Since we were first time customers they gave us a delicious scone for free which was amazing especially warmed up. It was fresh from the oven when they gave it to us too. Also don't forget to pick up the loyalty card!
