This place was recommended by a friend and after seeing good reviews I decided to try them out. I was disappointed. I purchased my daughters court dresses from here. We came for the initial fitting in December. I had to constantly call the botique for updates for our party that was in May. They dresses arrived in March and we came in for the alterations. Two weeks before the quince I had to call the place for an update. In which they tell me "oh yeah they're ready". I also live an hour away. The alterations were horrible too. We asked for the slit to be taken in and it was done very poorly on every dress. Two threads to "take it in". Of course when they walked it tore open. Some of the dresses lengths were off too. I loved the uniqueness of the selection, the customer service (dureing Covid mind you ) And the price was a third of what I had already paid . While trying to schedule an appointment, the sales lady was rude and not wanting to help me. Our event date is over a year and since she felt we weren't going to purchase a dress she didn't want to book us an appointment. I know my daughter best and she is indecisive, we wanted a company that would have the patients and eagerness to help us on our journey to purchasing a few gowns from. I don't recommend. There are plenty of store out there that don't make you feel like a "pretty women" moment. She doesn't know my daughter could have fallen in love with a dress on the first visit. If they aren't willing to service people when they are looking then don't give them your business when your ready to purchase. Sad because customer service should be top priority. We ordered my son's Jr. prom tux here instead of going out of town. We like to support local as much as possible. Tux came on time and fit like a glove. A little pricy to rent, but it's local and I like to support our local businesses as much as I can. She said if we come next year for his Sr. Prom we get the shoes free. After months of looking unsuccessfully for a wedding dress in Sacramento, I happened to drive down Main Street in Woodland (where I live), saw the dresses in the Cocco's window, and decided to check out the store. I am so glad I did! I ended up finding my perfect dress just a few miles from my house, and it was a bonus that I was able to support a local business. We were on a pretty frugal budget for the wedding, and I actually went in to see if there was a bridesmaid dress that I could use as a wedding dress, but I ended up finding the most beautiful gown. It was surprisingly reasonably priced for how absolutely gorgeous it was. The customer service from start to finish was stellar -- so sweet, patient and encouraging at every step. The sample dress in the shop was too big, and Cocco's advised what size I should order based on the fit of other dresses I tried on from the same manufacturer. Because our wedding was only 12 weeks out, they were able to put in a rush order and assured me that the dress would arrive the week before the wedding and that they could do any alterations on the tight timeframe. My dress arrived exactly on time and ended up fitting perfectly; they were totally right about the size. Cocco's offered to keep it in the shop until right before the wedding so they could steam it and have it looking pressed and perfect for the day of, which it did. After all of my stress about my wedding dress, the one I found at Cocco's ended up being absolutely ideal for me. I received countless comments (on the day of the wedding, and for weeks after) from my spouse, friends and family about how beautiful the dress was. I went here back in April to try on some wedding dresses, since Cocco's is the closest bridal store to Davis. The store has a small bridal section, with the majority being prom and pageant-style dresses. Although their bridal selection is quite limited, the prices are affordable. Monica helped me with the dress trial, and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She did a great job with trying to find dresses that matched what I had envisioned, and I must have tried on at least 10 different dresses. She kept bringing dress after dress, which was surprising because most bridal stores aren't nearly as willing to show you many options. Unfortunately, I didn't find my dress here, but I think I will make another visit to Cocco's in the near future since they'll be getting more new styles for summer. read more

Never again! I would not recommend this place to ANYONE for any occasion for any reason!! We ( bridesmaids) bought our dresses from this place in Feb! In may they called us to pick up the dresses and informed us that we needed to pick them up ASAP because "they didn't have storage" for them! Ok great! So we make a trip to get them, try them on and when i put my dress on it had the worst smell, so i said something to the person helping us... NO ONE SEEMED TO CARE! Fast forward to now! i took it to get it altered and the lady who did the alterations asked "Why does it smell like that"? and i told her I don't know, I have never worn it and its supposedly brand new! So , I took it to the dry cleaners, first time it still smelled, so they did it again! Second time STILL SMELLS! Now it a week before the wedding and I have this dress that has a smell to it and have no idea what to do,so I call CoCo Couture and ask for help!! The owner didn't get back to me so I called back 5 days later! I talk to the owner yesterday who got really defensive, rude and Made a statement referring to me and ''having money issues" !! No, the issue is I paid for a dress. And the fact that I paid for something and there is something wrong with it is a problem in itself. Then had to spend more money to try and fix it but the smell is still there! Now I have paid almost double for the dress! I never once asked for a refund or anything like that! The owner is down right rude and has terrible customer service!!! I was trying to get a solution, but in turn got an attitude and disrespect from the owner! I DO NOT recommend doing business here! I feel like i was degrading, disrespected and treated like scum, and you just don't do that to a customer! Its called CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! And this place lacks that! read more

I went to several bridal boutiques in the Sacramento area and the service at Cocco's Couture was amazing, Yesenia is so friendly, knowledgeable and her passion for what she does shines through and is contagious. Every dress she brought into the dressing room just got better and better as she listened to what I did and did not like about each dress until we found the one! I came back 3 times to try the same dress on, I was torn between 3 dresses at 3 different places. Yesenia's biggest concern was that I chose the dress that made me feel beautiful and was the best one for me, even if it wasn't the one at her store. In the end I did choose the dress at Cocco's Couture and am so thrilled I did. We had four groomsmen one of them was out of town he came down got measured couple months later they couldn't find the paper (so unprofessional) Another of our groomsmen never got the call to let him know his tuxedo had arrived he went in it didn't fit they had to send it back and wanted to charge him a express fee when is not his fault, the tuxedo got here the day off two hours before the event (stressing) one of the lady also mentioned I was fat if I'm or not is none of her business! I had a great experience trying on wedding dresses at Cocco's. They have a better selection than you would think, being as small as they are, and like, half their dresses are 30% off. The woman, younger woman, I don't know her name, who worked with me was very attentive, she helped me in and out of all the dresses I tried on, and was never impatient, or insulted when I said things like "yuck" or laughed at a dress; she had a great sense of humor. ALSO she knew I was just browsing, and treated me like I was buying, and that says a lot. This would be a GREAT place to buy a wedding dress, but its also got TONS of prom dresses that are just gorgeous. I wish I lived close to a place like Cocco's when I went to prom! read more

I live in Modesto and my mom and I ended up being able to go dress shopping spur of the moment, we decided to chexk out the stores in woodland before we headed to sacramento. We popped in to a completely empty store with two employees. She directed me to the selection they offered and once I found some dresses I let her know I had selected a few I was interested in. She told me I couldnt try them on today and needed to make an appointment in order to tey them on. I explained I dont live in the area and today was the only day I had. She said sorry appointment only. I would have probably been more understanding had the store been busy or maybe if she explained they had an appointment coming soon. That was all I got, just coming from customer standpoint this is awful customer service and you just lost a potential sale. You have two employees standing around doing nothing in an empty store with no customers and I can't try on any dresses? Especially when I live 2 hours away and booking an appointment to come all the way out here may be pretty far out for me. So, thanks for that coco. read more

Cocco's was the first and only place I tried on dresses for my wedding. Monica helped me try on dresses and was extremely patient with me as well as willing go as far as strip her window display so that I could try on a dress. I was pleased with their selection and did not feel pressured to buy, which is very important to me. I went back two more times before I purchased my dress. Since then, Monica and the owner, Yessenia have helped me with my bridesmaids' dresses, my mother's dress, my veil, jewelry and alterations. They have been patient and offered customer service beyond my expectations. My dress was also far less than I expected to pay. I would recommend this place to bride to be's, quinceaneras, and high school girls attending prom. This was the most amazing experience ever! I walked in with my best friend, had never tried a wedding dress on before, and the owner Yesenia who has been amazing during this entire process picked out my dress according to my body type and what my then fiance liked in colors scheme. I fell in love immediately with the dress once it was on and it even came with a matching veil! Ffw to when my mom with the credit card shows up: I was scared she wouldn't like it, because the back didn't zip up so we had to corset it so it would fit. Yesenia reassured my mom that it would be taken care of, and we got it!! I went in with my officiant to try the dress on, and a few more times with my mom. At the end of the whole process when it was time to pay the last amount on the dress because the alterations were perfect, Yesenia gave us a bra that fit me and that I could wear with the dress. Im guessing she took my size by the meausurements of the dress. She went out of her way for me because the thought of wearing no bra in my low back wedding dress flipped me out. I will forever cherish Yesenia and everything she did for us! She and the shop deserve their 5 stars! I looked absolutely beautiful on my wedding day thanks to her. I came here for a prom dress a little over a month in advance. I found the dress of my dreams and they took my measurements, placed my order, and I paid in full on my debit card. They told me it would be in in about two weeks, no later. When I asked her if she was sure it would make it on time she said, "Of course, that's plenty of time." Two and a half weeks later, I still hadn't received a call about my dress so I called them. She said she'd call the company and call me back. After a couple of hours she called me and said she wasn't sure if the dress would make it and if I'd like to wait until that Friday to see if it'd be on delivery yet. Being that prom was a week away I decided I had to wait. That friday I was told I could get my money back and my dress wouldn't be making it. With a week until prom I had to find a completely new dress that was in-store, my size, and I at least liked. Today is the monday before my prom, and I am still dress-less. Thank you Cocco's Couture, for turning what's supposed to be a magical moment into the most hectic race against time I've ever been in. I definitely wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone who is used to the city and the professionalism of a company. If you need consistancy and people who are going to follow thru, definitely not the place to go. I give them one star, because I can't give them negative stars. read more

I live in South Carolina and traveled to Woodland, CA to go to Cocco's for this dress. Before flying across the country I called to make sure that they still had the dress. Yesenia was extremely accommodating and agreed to hold the dress until my mom and I could fly out to CA. When we got there I tried on the dress and knew immediately that it was "the one". After their tailor pinned up the dress to show how it would fit after alterations, Yesenia helped me find the perfect veil to match my perfect dress. We had a great shopping experience and Cocco's shipped my dress to me in perfect condition. We left a deposit on a dress there and they ended up selling our dress and telling us that we had not told them when we needed the dress for then the owner decided to order another dress that would not arrive till 3 days after our event so then she found one closer nd ordered it and said it would arrive 4 days before our party.today when we tried getting ahold of them they told us the dress would not arrive till friday then the owner call us and said that she had supposedly told us it would arrive in vegas friday so it was not gunna arrive on time so for us to do what we had to do...she was very rude...we will never go there again.... If I could give this store a negative I would have! The two workers they have working are awesome, and showed compassion to my problem with the alterations. But three weeks ago on a Sunday, I purchased a dress for prom for my sister, they said the alterations would be done Thursday, and when I called Friday to see if the dress was done, they said "no, that they have been super busy with other prom dresses" she then asked me when I needed the dress, and I said April 12th, but I would prefer to have everything done this weekend, in case the alterations aren't done right or may need a little work and we can work on it for the following week. She promised it would be done next week, and that everything would be perfect. She was also rude telling me that she knew what she was doing, and was super busy. Making it seem like this dress wasn't important. Now its one week till prom, and the DRESS DOES NOT FIT!! My sister could not even get her arm through the strap, and could not even close through the back, there was some hand sewn pieces on the dress, as she put it on it started to fall apart. My sister was in tears, and i was super upset. This was the main reason I wanted it done the week before. Now we are stuck looking for a prom dress 6 days before prom, and we have had NO luck. Worst part was, is that the owner was rude, and showed little compassion to the problem, as though it was my fault for what had happened. I am very disappointed that instead of trying to find a solution the owners just found excuses. I WOULD NOT SHOP HERE EVEN IF IT WAS THE LAST PLACE. Do not come here for alterations, and the quality of the dresses for prom are very CHEAP, the only reason we shopped here because all the other stores had been sold out, and it would be a month before we got a dress for prom. My sister loved the dress so we stuck with them. I would NOT waste my time here. The workers there again were helpful, but the owners lack a lot of customer service skills, and need to realize they are here to SERVE the customers. HORRIBLE STORE. I just rented vests from here for my wedding and was very unhappy with this place. The customer service was AWFULL!!! Both women who helped us were very rude and short with us. I was told, as was the rest of the wedding party, that the vests were going to be ready on Tuesday and when my husband showed up to get his vest he was told that it wasnt there and would be there on Wedneday. When he showed up on Wednesday it still wasnt there and was told to come back on Thursday..as a bride I was starting to freak out since the wedding was on Saturday. When my brother went in Thursday morning to get his vest they STILL were not there. When I called, the girl who answered said the vests were originally supposed to come in on Thursday but she just said Tuesday because she thought they might come early. I was NEVER told that they were orginally supposed to be there Thursday. When my sister went to return them on the following Tuesday, the lady asked why they werent returned on Sunday or Monday. Anyone who has ever gotten married can agree with me in that the day after is very busy and the last you are thinking about it returning vests. Their sign out front also states that they are closed on Monday so there is no way the vests could have been returned that day anyway. I returned them as soon as I possibly could which was the following Tuesday. Since they werent returned "on time" they couldn't give my sister the refund and I had to go in so she could refund my card. AND when I went to get my refund she wasnt going to give me my full refund...she was only going to give me the refund for 1 vest and said that she needed the cards from all the others to give them their refund. I told her that the refund was to come back to me, the bride. I told her that I already spoke to the groomsmen and was ok to get the refund and she still seemed hesitant. She eventually gave in and gave me my full refund. I wouldn't recommend Cocco's to anyone with the poor service that I got! read more
