We came for the initial fitting in December. I had to constantly call the botique for updates for our party that was in May. They dresses arrived in March and we came in for the alterations. Two weeks before the quince I had to call the place for an update. In which they tell me "oh yeah they're ready". I also live an hour away. The alterations were horrible too. We asked for the slit to be taken in and it was done very poorly on every dress. Two threads to "take it in". Of course when they walked it tore open. Some of the dresses lengths were off too. Longer in the front and shorter in then back.

We came on a Saturday and did not have any trouble finding a close parking place on the street. Cute street with other shops and restaurants. Nice for a stroll. The store is such a beautiful space... Lots of windows, creaky wood floors, brick walls, high ceilings - perfection. There is so much to see and it was overwhelming in the best way. Gifts, cooking gifts, Jelly Cats, religious gifts, candles, jewelry, men's gifts, stationery... I could go on and on. Such a lovely selection. Gorgeous cookbooks! Frequent Ross shoppers kind of know nowadays to open your bag to show your recent purchases and receipt. I did that but as I was walking towards the security guy he was already muttering what sounded like bad words and he seemed annoyed or stressed. He yanked my bag open and threw my receipt in as he sighed and practically disregarded me. Funnily enough a man after me he greeted with total respect and even eye contact as he walked out of the store with a farewell to him and only him. Either way, he was very unpleasant, rude, disrespectful, and had an arrogant demeanor about him that was just unprofessional as a whole. I understand the need to maybe seem "intimidating" as you are working security, however the blatant sexism and complete lack of respect is just uncalled for and quite frankly offensive and gross. Bad days are understandable but even I don't put out my personal feelings or negative attitudes on customers, let alone strangers. I hope Ross or the management team are aware of his behavior and maybe bring in people more professional and respectful on as security, because that interaction was ridiculous, enraging, and flat out unacceptable.
