Blown away by my experience with this company. I have been hearing all kinds of stories about people waiting on furniture for months and months, and was elated that my couch and dresser were delivered to me three days after my visit. The price for the quality of furniture is incredible too. Delivery staff were absolute gentlemen. Items are all over priced and terrible quality. The recliner we bought started coming apart in 2 years. Basically junk now and will be thrown out. They always advertise sales, but when the markup is 400%, you're not saving anything. read more

There is no reason to shop anywhere else for furniture - just don't even do that to yourself. This is the complete opposite experience you'll have from a chain furniture store. From the products, customer service, and delivery, you will not be disappointed. This is a family run store and they are great about helping you, but do not follow you around like other furniture stores. I've never felt pressured to buy. The products they offer are also so much better than what's offered at Ashley or Rooms To Go AND cheaper. Delivery is much cheaper too, and the delivery guys couldn't be nicer. I cannot say enough good things about Cochran Furniture. This is a business I cannot rave about enough. My only regret is not finding out about them sooner than I did. read more

There is no reason to go anywhere else to buy the furniture you need. This is a family run business and they've been doing it right for many years. You realize something is pleasantly different as you walk through the front door and there are not a bunch of commission driven sales people converging on your location. In fact, all you'll get is a smile and a hello. Feel free to wander. Someone will eventually let you know just to speak up if you need any assistance, but you'll never feel any pressure here. You get to determine the level of staff involvement. On the flip side, don't be afraid to ask because these are the nicest people you'll meet and they know furniture. They carry quality, American made brands and they can order from just about any maker. They do custom orders, lots of fabric choices and patterns. Their prices are extremely competitive, but they won't sell you poorly made or mass produced low-end furniture; so if that's what your looking for you'll need to go elsewhere. I am redecorating and came prepared to purchase two complete rooms of furniture. I walked in the store and realized Cochran's is the place to pick up Covid and a couch all at the same time. I tried to browse the store but it was packed with inventory (mediocre stuff at best) and unmasked people. I had questions and there wasn't a single sales person with a mask I could turn to for help. I was offered help and indicated I didn't see anyone with a mask to assist. The approximately 30 year old sales person said "all the sales people had breathing problems and they just couldn't wear masks." Since I prefer sales people that don't lie to my face and businesses that might not kill their customers, I drove to Dalton Wholesale furniture. I try to support local businesses but sometimes they make it so hard! What a disappointment. read more

I started not to write this review as I believe in shopping local. However, this group borders on strange when it comes to customer service. We recently were there to check on a couple of pieces of furniture. Now this is the second consecutive time we were there and were treated as we were invisible. No smile, no introduction, not even an acknowledgement of us being there. No, I don't want someone breathing down my neck every step of the way, but a courteous hello would have gone a long way to enhance the experience. Needless to say we bought elsewhere. Funny thing as we were leaving a couple of the store's delivery crew were coming in and one of them stated to one of the staff that are apparently glued behind the desk, he remembered when customers used to tip for the delivery. Dude, I can give you a clue as to why no tip. It's called the ripple effect. read more
