Fresh cooked to order food!! Caldo de Rez is big bowl and pupusa loroca melt in your mouth. Small dining area get there early, limited seating. Happy to find an authentic and delicious El Salvadorean restaurant to satisfy our cravings. We ordered their Pupusa revuelta, Pupusa con loroco, Plantano frito, and Sopa de patas. The pupusas were refreshingly savory and freshly cooked. The plantains had a perfect combination of sweet and savory that complimented well with the cream and beans. The sopa had a savory soupy stew with a hearty amount of cow's feet, tripe, and vegetables. Will definitely come back and continue supporting this restaurant! read more

Disgusting. Don't come here if you want actual Salvadoran style food. This is apparently Honduran style, and they're nasty. The chicharron filling is slimy and tastes like it came out of a can. The dough (masa) is plain and tough. The curtido is spicy like it has way too much red pepper in it. The service is always bad. We always get the same waitress who doesn't say you're welcome when you thank her. She's also inattentive. The owner at the cash register always looks mean. I think he's racist because my wife is African-American and he stares at her like a bulldog! I gave this place three chances, but today was definitely my last! Disgusting mess. read more

Papusas! The revuelta is great (cheese, beans, chicharones). They can also be ordered with cheese and a selection of another ingredient. At only $2.50 a piece, come and get a variety of options to take out or dine in. These are a perfect after bar snack, or for office lunch, or really any occasion one needs a handheld item to munch on. Each comes with a side of this spicy coleslaw/radish salad that's also amazing. I came here because I was craving tajadas maduras aka a little taste of home. The place it self isn't the nicest and the owner for some reason thought turning up the TV to max was a good idea. I mean I was just trying enjoy a peaceful breakfast. Funny enough when I was eating the health inspector came in to remind them renew their selling permit as it was expired. Now the food isn't bad but it isn't the tastiest either. I wouldn't personally order the carne asada on its own. All in all I haven't found another "Central American" restaurant yet to compare this to here in Tulsa, but having the liberty to taste many back in Houston. I wouldn't see myself coming back if I had more options. read more

I had the Chili Reano and it was very good and oh so filling. The rice was great( I could have made a meal just of that) Very good, good price. I'm glad I don't live in Tulsa, this place would make me gain too much. Well worth it on a Sunday night. read more

Yum! These were really good pupusas! I ordered the classic revuelto and loroco with cheese along with plantains and beans, one of my favorite meals. As good as any I've ever had and so good I took some home. Pro tip: these freeze really well. I'm definitely coming back to check out more of the menu. read more

My first time eating Salvadoran food, and I gotta say it was pretty, pretty, preeettty good! The menu pics on yelp are a little out-dated, because some of the prices have changed.(sorry I didn't get a new pic) The beans are a little different than what Im used to. I think they use black beans, and they are more of a liquidy consistency. The rice also had a good flavor. The Pollo Empanizado was kind of like fried chicken strips, but had a great flavor. The side salad on the plate is a combo of lettuce, avocado, and raddish. There are also a few pieces of lime that you can squeeze the juice out of for a dressing. The Pupusas are very tasty. Kind of like the Mexican gordita, but everything is fried inside, and the breaded outside is sealed all around. The jalapeno pupusa was pretty spicy if you like hot stuff. They also give you a side of Curtido that compliments the pupusas. Its like a cabbage slaw of sorts with a spicy kick, kind of like kim chi, but I thought this tasted better. And to finish it off, the fried plantains are an awesome desert. The restaurant is small and tucked away in a strip near Admiral and Sheridan. If your in the mood to try something new, or just looking for some Salvadoran food in Tulsa, come check this place out. read more

This is by no means a fancy place, but the people are pleasant and the food is very, very good.

Very good food! Stopped by on a whim, not having read any reviews, and was pleasantly surprised with the lunch I had which was the Chili Relleno. Although I don't claim to be an expert on Salvadorian food, it definitely had a different flair than traditional Mexican food. I think it's safe to say that if you like Mexican food, give this place a shot. Do note that they will not serve you a glass of water, you must purchase either bottled water or a Mexican soda. read more

I had the pupusas revueltas and they were just so yummy! They were so fresh and just amazingly well done! I had a taste of their cooked plantains (I don't remember the plates name, sorry!) but it just reminded me of my childhood, and oh so many good memories. The wait staff were so helpful and the price of the food was not bad at all! I can't wait to go back and try more of their food. Definitely a must. read more

I really liked the food here! Papusas are delicious- soup only served on the weekend seemed to be very popular. I did not like the way I felt eating here- it felt awkward. I have been to plenty small restaurants where I was the only white person, most of the time it's fine. The guy behind the counter took a long time sifting through menus, apparently to find ones in English. I speak Spanish fluently, but because my companions do not, I did not. When the waitress was having trouble understanding an order, I jumped in with the Spanish words- I was given an offended glare from the waitress. When I used the restroom, I felt like everyone starred at me when I sat back down. While I did not feel unsafe, I didn't feel welcome or comfortable. The food was too good not to go back, but I am more likely to place a to go order. Too bad because watching soccer and trying the homemade hot sauce should be part of the dinning experience. I guess it's a good reminder of how crappy it feels when people are prejudiced- on purpose or not- it feels crappy to be treated differently because of the color of your skin. read more

Great Pupusas! Small and cozy sit down or take it to go Pupusa shop and more. Our server was very kind and friendly. She patiently waited until all of our friends were acclimated with what they wanted to order. Also when a misunderstanding arose with our order, it was corrected at no expense to us.
