The service was slow. We had a reservation. When we finally were served, our items came all out of order. Cocktails came out after appetizers. Flatware and plates came after appetizers. Salad came after entrees. Cocktails were not good. I'm a bourbon connoisseur, my mixed bourbon cocktail was supposed to have Jefferson's, it was not good. Sent back. The only time the server Amanda was engaging is when it was time to pay. The Hanger steak that I ordered had absolutely no seasoning. The best thing about this location was the ambiance. Savoria is a hidden little gem. The menu has a good range of options, burgers, tacos, flatbreads up through steaks & entrees. We have eaten here a couple of times and the food has consistently been good. It's also a good place to have a drink and an appetizer. They have music some evenings. It's tucked in the Holiday Inn. Park out front and go straight through the lobby. When the weather is good, they have a nice patio too. read more

Had an excellent dinner tonight! Hanger steak tacos were phenomenal. Hubs had salmon on cedar plank with sub of blue cheese Cole slaw for salad. He really enjoyed it!! Found this place because we had a large party and wanted a reservation on very short notice. Didn't realize it was inside a Holiday Inn, but don't let that scare you away. The interior is comfortable and a bit classy. The menu has quite a bit on it, so everyone should be able to find something, and the offerings are several steps above what you might find in a hotel restaurant. The food was very good! Several of my party had steak and enjoyed their meals, I had one of their flatbreads, which was very good, and another had a very good burger (which came with really tasty fries). Service was attentive, not hurried, which allowed us to enjoy our time together. If you're looking for a very nice meal in Mentor, put this place on your list! read more

Fabulous food, friendly staff and a quiet ambience. The prices were reasonable. A cut above the average hotel restaurant.

We were a party of 8 on a Friday night. Our server, Karen, was very attentive and gave us some great ideas on what to order! The guys ordered ribeyes, which were all cooked to perfection! Other entrees included the Boursin chicken (I never order chicken in a restaurant, as it's always dry. It was far from here!), cedar plank salmon (she loved it) and their award winning hanger steak. We all had a taste and it was fantastic! We look forward to our next visit!! read more

Went with a large group, and we all were pleased with our meals. The blue cheese coleslaw was a huge hit. My hake fish tacos were excellent, and the salsa on the side was very good. The salads were generous portions and high quality, and one option was homemade ranch dressing. Some of the signage still names the previous restaurant, so it was challenging to find the entrance. It's located on the side of the Holiday Inn. I hadn't seen advertising about it, but I'm glad someone in our group had. I would definitely go back. read more

Hotel restaurants can be hit or miss. Right when you walk in you could tell Savoria would be solid. They have an upscale feel without the upscale dining price. Staff was kind and greeted you as you walk in. The bartender recommended the tacos and they did not disappoint. Many places tend to do too much with tacos and get crazy on the toppings. The toppings did not overpower the flavor of the pork belly or steak. They had a nice balance with each bite. Would recommend topping with the house hot sauce. As far as food quality, this may be one of the best hotel restaurants I have had, their chef and team take pride in what they bring to the table. Thank you for a nice meal. read more

Wonderful! The food was great, service amazing, pricing reasonable. We loved it. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food (2 steaks, spicy burger, and steak sandwich) and the apps were great (fries and pretzels). The waiter made it fun and was very thorough and patient. Food was very good! Fish tacos and shrimp skewers were delicious!! Short staffed, but we weren't in a hurry so didn't mind. They did apologize for being short staffed (which seems par for a lot of places these days)! Will definitely be going back! Great salad too! read more

Been here a couple of times now. Place is super clean, owners are super friendly, and food is great. Got the po boy for my last visit, was big, messy, but superb. Fries were crispy, coleslaw was good, bbq sauce had a great flavor, and the polish sausage was high quality. Lot of other things I'd love to try on the menu, will for sure be back. It is a very pleasant surprise being inside of a Holiday Inn - so far I have experienced truly amazing staff here, and then too that off with really good drinks & and nice amazing selection, and then even more some really excellent food! Also really good environment, and good music! One night I had dinner and the best appetizer I could ever imagine - a shrimp avocado mousse, I liked it so much that I ordered it again 2nights later!!! I was here in town for a government training class, and I told me classmate about my experience so he had dinner & drinks and said the burger he ordered here was done perfectly; he was pleasantly surprised at this place and the top notch customer service by the chef/cook, bartenders and all that we encountered!!! We both talked about hoping and wishing the best for this place - to not only remain amazing, but to also hopefully excel and become much more well known for amazing future success!!! read more
